Well juni, bin Laden was in what amounts to a mansion in Pakistan. But, he was not in a Pakistani military compound. There were armed people on the grounds...some of whom were shot by the Seal Team so I guess you could say it was an armed encampment.

Officials did not immediately say where or how the testing was done but the test explains why President Barack Obama was confident to announce the death to the world Sunday night. Obama provided no details on the identification process.

The U.S. is believed to have collected DNA samples from bin Laden family members in the years since the 9/11 attacks that triggered the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan. It was unclear whether the U.S. also had fingerprints or some other means to identify the body on site.

Bin Laden was shot in the head during the firefight with members of an elite American counter-terrorism unit that launched a helicopter-borne raid on the al-Qaida leader's compound, U.S. officials said. Officials said the U.S. special forces who stormed the compound came face to face with their prey.

U.S. officials also said bin Laden was identified through "facial recognition," a reference to technology for mapping unique facial characteristics, but it was not clear exactly how the Navy SEAL troops performed the comparison.

The body was photographed before being buried at sea, although no images have been released by the Obama administration.

Ridiculous statement, someone is clearly upset that the Republicans did not do this and now he has to give "O Bomber" credit for an act very close to the Neocon heart.

Who represents the United States? Is the Socialist Agenda propounded by America through "O Bomber" good and true? Can other countries believe that? Will you be happy then?

In any case, "O Bomber" will have all those who fail to see through these political mind games for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I was shell shocked at his audacity to put the Lion King video but then he has Sun conjunct Lucifer. I was hoping he would use it positively but...

For those who recall that movie, the little Disney movie snippet after the birth certificate release was a clever program to convince the huge gathering of decision makers [including the Donald] that Obama is a Horus Incarnate or chosen by Osiris.
Lion King is all about Osiris [Mufasa] killed by Set [Scar], sought by an ISIS inspired by Thoth [Rafiki] to rejuvenate Osiris [Simba] and ultimately

Report: DNA At Mass. General Confirms bin Laden's Death
DNA From bin Laden's Sister Collected At Massachusetts General

BOSTON -- The death of a sister of Osama bin Laden at Massachusetts General Hospital allowed the United States to confirm bin Laden's death, ABC News reported.

When his sister died in Boston, tissue from her body was taken by government officials for DNA testing, ABC News correspondent Brian Ross reported.

A source told NewsCenter 5 that bin Laden's sister died in Boston about a year ago.

The tissue sample was used to match the DNA found on the man killed by special forces troops who conducted the raid on bin Laden's Pakistani compound.

Government officials claimed the DNA evidence provides a match with 99.9 percent confidence.

Well, that's a load of codswallop, more so since I defended O'Bomber against what looks like the beginnings of another conspiracy theory....

bin Laden has been dead for years...just for instance and O'Bomber is just polishing his reelection chances..no doubt by trying to fake out Americans and the rest of the world that he sent Navy Seals and other Special Forces out and killed bin Laden on Sunday.

Juni, I've seen later reports about where bin Laden's compound actually was. Different reports have it as close as 100 yards and as far as 1000 yards from a Pakistani Military Academy. That's a lot closer than the earlier report I saw this morning.

Ummm, I understand there are DNA samples from a close bin Laden relative or relatives. What I don't understand is how they managed to run DNA samples on tissue from bin Laden...and get DNA results so quickly.
