She supported him before. Now she says, "I can't stand to hear his voice anymore. He is a liar"

Great job, Caroline

Joe Klein is a major Washington and New York journalist and newspaper columnist. He has been particularly critical of conservatives, including Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin. He wrote Primary Colors the novel portraying Bill Clinton. He publishes for The Washington Post, The New York Times, Rolling Stone., Time and LIFE. Before you dismiss him as a conservative hack, do your homework. He's a liberal.

This is Joe Klein's liberal blog at Time.

Here you go.

And here is the article called "Inspiration vs. Substance" by Joe Klein for Time Magazine back in 2008.

Here is a liberal who called Obama a liar back then. He still does now.

Quoted in verbatim

"And yet there was something just a wee bit creepy about the mass messianism — "We are the ones we've been waiting for" — of the Super Tuesday speech and the recent turn of the Obama campaign. "This time can be different because this campaign for the presidency of the United States of America is different. It's different not because of me. It's different because of you." That is not just maddeningly vague but also disingenuous: the campaign is entirely about Obama and his ability to inspire. Rather than focusing on any specific issue or cause — other than an amorphous desire for change — the message is becoming dangerously self-referential. The Obama campaign all too often is about how wonderful the Obama campaign is."

Ian, the family of that "gay kid" Romney bullied says that they guy was NOT gay, never mentioned anything about this to anyone and the family resents that Obama would use a cheap trick like this.

To be fair, Caroline Kennedy isn't exactly without agenda either. She's after Hilary's Senate seat.

I was in college in my junior year while she was a freshman in law school and we met briefly for a couple of months in a campus club setting. She never struck me as being entirely forthright.

I would have cut off that damn hair myself. Unkempt appearances have no place in an established and respected private educational institution.

Bill Clinton himself called Obama a flipping "amateur" and "incompetent."

Anybody want to slay Bill Clinton?
http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/bill_blockbuster_an_amateur_XJHYdaV5LT1vpr5I39IK rN

“The economy’s a mess, it’s dead flat. America has lost its Triple-A rating . . . You know better than Obama does,” Bill said.

Bill Clinton insisted he had “no relationship” with Obama and had been consulted more frequently by his presidential successor, George W. Bush.

Obama, Bill Clinton said, “doesn’t know how to be president” and is “incompetent.”

But Hillary resisted the entreaties, according to two of the guests interviewed for the book.

“Why risk everything now?” a skeptical Hillary told her husband, emphasizing that she wanted to leave a legacy as secretary of state.

“Because,” Bill replied, his voice rising, “the country needs you!”

“The country needs us!” added Bill.

Totally. I hear you, Ian! However, even Oprah dissed him in the book.

Yep, Here is my take on it, Ian, as I try to get larger insights into situations. Obama has no core values. Even Harry Belafonte said this. You cannot blow like a reed in the wind and get respect from anyone. It won't work. That is the larger lesson beyond that Obama has almost ruined the country

Frankly, I think they're BOTH liars and I explained why before (flip-flopping on key social positions then as opposed to now. Romney is worse though, he actually said he would always be pro-abortion and same-sex rights as a governor), but Obama is the lesser of two evils for one reason and one reason alone: he is the leader of the non-Republican party.

A vote for Republicans is a vote for bigotry in America.

lol, asking for a source is quite the magnet for anger i see. i didn't call ANYONE a hack, nor did i say it was untrue...i simply asked where the info came from so i could look it up myself. ami has a way of coming in here and planting bombs she won't explain or discuss!

i haven't noticed obama blowing like a reed in the wind. i have noticed someone who starts where he finds himself and appears to be working toward his stated ends, and has accomplished more "safety from terrorists" with less bloodshed than his predecessors whose slogan is "we kept america safe" (AFTER 9/11 that is, despite ignoring a bunch of red flags that might have PREVENTED 9/11)

and i believe clinton calling obama an amateur, is taken out of context - and people who consider clinton a crooked political animal quoting him is hilarious.

lol, i checked your link, YTA, fabulous source, thirdhand gossip in fact. what wonderful sleuth if that is the calibre of klein's work.

the article points out that clinton is currently stumping for obama, and whatever his private ambitions for hillary to be president, that says much more than "he said that she said that he said" during a friendly gathering at the clintons' which the author was NOT present at.

i will be voting for some real statespeople to go to the houses of congress this november. forget romney, the party only wants him because he is malleable. that says it all.

as for belafonte, he's entitled to his opinion, but he has about as much basis for judgement as any other person...and the opinions are as varied as the people who spout them

and where do you get the idea that it was obama who published this story about mitt's bully days? it was a washington post piece from what i heard.

did you catch rush today, ami, remembering fondly the days when "bullying was legal"? it's one thing to make fun of people, another to intimidate and physically attack them...

are you aware that this "prank" was basically assault with a deadly weapon for being instep with one's time? he wasn't gay, he was just different. that was enough.

at 17 i believe assault is a crime, and was then too.

and for the record i note that YTA considers it perfectly fine to attack someone whose looks he doesn't like.

The reference to remarks by Bill Clinton, to which you refer as third hand gossip, comes from Joel Klein. He is the ex Chancellor of the very liberal money sucking New York City School System, which is the epitome of failure. He was a full time and now is part time columnist for the NY Post.
