Okay, so I'm being optimistic, but they are about to vote any minute now, and thanks to President Trump's negotiating skills, they now have the votes.

Just in the nick of time. For example, Iowa has 99 counties, and 94 counties have no healthcare at all! A third of all counties in the U.S. have only one insurer. Obamacare is in free fall. The entire healthcare system is in virtual collapse. But the House Republicans have rescued it.

So basically a man who commits sexual assault can become president but woman is sexually assaulted can't get healthcare.

Let the Marxists, Socialist Progressives who ruined health care in America begin their gnashing of teeth. Let the crocodile tears flow. You and your brain dead moron icons ruined the best health care delivery system in the world. Today, the long march back to health care sanity began.

Health care that your congressmen have happily kept for themselves, but are taking from the rest of us.

???

"Best health care delivery system IN THE WORLD" ??

if you wish... but I beg to differ. Check the NHS in the UK, or the french system, or probably any european countries.

But if you say so it has to be true, right ? Cause it is a known fact among members here that you are not a biased partisan and would never argue something false just because it suits ... you...the man that always search the objective truth

From an article i saw on the su ject

Remember "we have to pass it to find out what's in it? "

There’s been no Congressional Budget Office analysis on the Trumpcare 2.0 bill yet because the GOP is trying to pass the bill before its effects can be properly assessed – but it’s clear that the bill will be devastating, because House Republicans made sure that their personal healthcare plans and those of their staff are exempt from the new amendments.

Of course jwhop is always right. And doesnt mind paying more because he's old with preexisting conditions. As long as he doesnt have to pay TAX!!

The healthcare in this country has been going down since Reagan.

It's difficult enough for women to report a rape now. With this, they/we have the additional fear of that report taking away a chance for health care. Thanks, guys!

Every single person who voted for this bill, is a douchebag, to say the least. Misogynistic BS. I don't see erectile dysfunction on there as a pre-existing condition. Why not?

*edit. Damn, there is not supposed to be a smile in the subject line!

Some here need to get their "filters" recalibrated. Taking everything said by brain dead crash dummy intellects in the demoscat party as fact is hazardous to mental health.

"Pre-existing health conditions coverage ARE a part of the new health care bill...and, it's funded to the tune of about $130 BILLION.

One must wonder about the intellectual capacity of those so easily duped by those with a mid double digit IQ. It's embarrassing!

Its a rough draft of a bill that will at the very least be altered. Passed "in the dark" a few hours after its contents became known...hmm sounds just like what theRepubs lambasted Obamacare for.. shoving thru a bill just to keep political momentum going

Passed the housr by s majority of FOUR VOTES because so few republicans really wanted or cared what was in it.

Take your obnoxiousness away from me. On an LL friend's page, one of her friends who knows what's in the bill, since this is her field, said that it really isn't good.

Pre-existing conditions are covered in the new health care bill. You and your friend need to get your facts straight before shooting off your mouths.

No..its not for PEC specifically.

HOW DOES IT WORK? It dedicates $8 billion solely to reduce premiums and other out-of-pocket costs for patients in the individual market with pre-existing conditions who do not maintain continuous coverage and who live in states that receive a waiver to redesign their insurance market.

HOW DOES IT PROTECT HIGH-RISK INDIVIDUALS? This $8 billion is on top of the $130 billion available to states through the AHCA’s Patient and State Stability Fund, which helps states repair their health markets damaged by Obamacare.

From Ryan's info page on the bill.
