With his hand out like that? That’s not how you gesture “my heart goes out to you..”. He knows what he did. That’s no mistake, especially after he openly supported AdF, a right wing German political party suspected of extremist views. He’s perfectly aware of what that gesture means. Why would he even want to confuse people like that? It’s a gesture with such a sensitive history. He’s knows this. At best, he did this to see what he would get away with. To purposely antagonize people who criticize him. At worst, this is an integral part of his political views and a foreboding of what’s to come. And fascism is not the same as anti-semitism, any common enemy to differentiate “us” from “them” will do. You are acting silly again. The original debate was did Musk use the word 'mandate' when he hinted he wants to mandate electric car. Anyway go and really watch his victory speech.
BTW, most of the white South Africans where Musk hails from are apartheid believers. This comes from Musk's father.

Seriously Randall? I have not mentioned Trump. I clearly focused on what Musk did. And what he did was obvious. As someone from a European country that was occupied by Germany during WW2, this is absolutely not a trivial matter. WW2 and its terrors are a collectieve trauma in Europe. What Musk did is incredibly insensitive and disrespectful. There have been no apologies. Musk has also been interfering in German politics. This is not something European politicians take lightly. Even though the U.S. is a big country with a powerful economy, isolating yourself from your allies is not a good strategy. There is only a limited period of time you can get away with behaving like a bully. There’s a shared history and ancestry between the U.S. and Europe. We have a lot in common. Europe has relied on the U.S. for too long when it comes to international politics, they took the easy route. Expecting the U.S. to bear the brunt of defence expenditures for so long was wrong. But the way Trump talks about Greenland, Canada and Panama is definitely being a bully. You can poke at your allies every now and then, but like I said, there’s a limit. Musk said "...My heart goes out to you...!" when he hit/grabbed the left side of his chest and sent his hand into the air. That is undeniable! You want to persist in claiming it was a nazi salute, well, it is your choice. There are videos compilations showing democrats and celebrities with their hands up in the air in what could be construed as a nazi salute, but no one has accused them of that because people look at context and what the person was saying.
