You certainly are entitled to your opinion. And if folks think that the timing of the deletion was suspect, then they are entitled to their opinion as well.

As far as saying your peice and walking away is concerned... not everybody has the same style of communication as you do, Ami.
Some people believe in staying until all sides are heard.

This is what was talked about when the whole site was in uproar a few weeks ago.
If you leave threads open, usually things will iron themselves out. People exhaust themselves, but at least they feel heard.

It's not fair for one person to read a thread, jump in and say their peice, and then say, "That's it, I'm gone, I won't hear anymore of it, thread closed."
That is Control, not communication.

That is my opinion and I am entitled to it.

No, it's not your 'job' to make anybody feel fulfilled, but I would hope that it is most peoples 'aim' when conversing.

That is the point of conversing, it's a sharing of ideas so that both parties, or ALL parties can come away with an expanded understanding. Otherwise we might as well just walk around talking to ourselves, which was my original point.
