I love olives too! Salt, salt, salt  In fact I have a jar in the fridge that I will indulge in right now. Nicki--I love peanut butter. I love olives. But the two were never meant to be together LOL. That's pretty gross! I like peppers too. When I was pregnant I would eat jalapenos right out of the jar. Poor baby  LEXX I hope nothing I said offended you. i know, every time she makes the sandwich i give her this disgusted facewe have been growing peppers all summer long and we had jar after jar after jar of pickled peppers...we had so many we had to sell a bunch of them ------------------

these ones we have are hotter than jalapenos...some are hybrids..we dont know how in the world they ended up cross breeding but they did------------------

I feel the same way Kat and I do respect your take on things even when we don't agree. I believe you feel the same. I also don't think either of us have a problem with eachother even during a heated disagreement. To me, I can be different from someone politically but still love the person to death LOl.. I have several very liberal friends and we do debate about politics but at the end of they day, we're still friends (even if I know they are wrong LMAO). My son was a popular kid.He was a football player and in a fraternity.
He was elected to an office. When he started going down ,emotionally, many in the fraternity started targeting him cuz they saw him as WEAK.
Weakness brings out people's primal ,instinctive nature to bully.
If they don't face themselves, their OWN weaknesses, which we ALL have, they will bully others.

BA, my dad's best friend was a conservative and he a liberal. they spent HOURS arguing politics, it was one of their favourite pastimes, but not once did either get the other to agree to more than a minor point..NOR did either one ever feel the need to belittle the others' intelligence or call them names.but one has to have a little perspective on one's ideas to do that! ie, they are not your SELF, they are just your ideas...just as your feelings are feelings, which can come and go, they do not DEFINE the real you. i have a dear friend today with whom i cannot discuss politics OR spirituality because she just WILL NOT bend an inch to consider other people might have a reason for their DIFFERENT ideas...in every other way we are CHUMS. Kat, I think that is awesome that your dad has a friendship like that. I have a great friend that I met while working 6 years ago. He is extremely liberal and we do agree on a few things but disagree about more regarding politics. But.. we have this great friendship that allows us to be us. IP: Logged |

I don't think any of you WANT to be mean.
I think it is cuz you are not FACING your own weakness.
If you don't,you will target "weak" people.
Maybe next time, you could SERIOUSLY hurt someone, drive someone to a bad end.
Think about it rather than get defensive .
