It's okay if you want to say I remind you of a cactus Juni (preferably a flowering one LOL )

I'd like to join into this thread and will at some point....

btw

a few years ago I took one of her online courses and would highly recommend it now:
http://annasayce.com

Used to be called "Psychic but Sane" .com (that www. title made me cringe and I'm glad she changed it now) She's written a ton of really informative articles that are helpful (and free) even if you don't take one of her courses they are available for the learning..

First I gotta ask, is the computer you're working on now set up on a drop-leaf desk? Also, do you have a brick wall in your home, like behind the woodstove?

Gray gingham , perfect with plaid curtains, yay!!

No to desk. It`s a small cheapie picked to fit in this tight area.

BUT,
Indeed a brick wall behind my wood stove.
My chair faces it so it is always in my vision in the living room. I was floored to read that and I peaked around to "see" you seeing

I'm still not feeling well, but I'm curious as to what anyone might pick up around me (besides a mess: I need to tidy up).

I had to laugh as that reminded me of horticulture class`s and my mantra to remember in the Cacti class:
"botanically, cacti are succulents but not all succulents are cacti." Which reminded me of your purslane plant vs my purslane weed. Wasn`t yours the Moss Rose?
Sorry, I digress, but it did lead me to here >>

T, yellow. Something fairly large colored a happy yellow. Something woven, like wicker maybe?

@Faith, can you see what is on my brick wall?

@ Teasel, is your leg or maybe foot bothering you?

@Violet, do you have some softly colored plush stuffed animals? Like My Little Pony or an unicorn?

@Hanna, your feller won`t have bangs

Juni, I stepped on a small piece of glass, and was swearing about it. I also have knee pain that comes and goes.

T,
Thank you for your very thoughtful answer. You seem to be just where you need to be.
I guess I asked the opposite of what I should have asked.

Juniperb,
lets see..(looking around to see if any soft fluffy things are spotted). Nope . I would like to meet a unicorn though, a real one

If it's a narrow width and made of thin wood (?) that kind of matches what I was thinking of.

LOL! I don't know why Juni, but I've always pictured you at a small desk, with a brick wall visible in the next room, to your right.

But I never pictured anything on it! I just imagined a black chimney against the wall. I'm gonna sit on this one and see if anything materializes in my head.

But the curtains and gingham are at two separate houses.

The curtains here match some of the fabric in the quilt that's over the back of the sofa. Can you see that quilt and tell me about it?

That`s ok, I identified them with you.

I`m likely wrong but I sense an heirloom quilt. Made by someone special.

I imagine with young children , it isn`t so but that`s what I sense.

Ha! Not too long ago a cactus that I have had for years and I didn't know could bloom, did! Two big bright yellow flowers, one after the other.

Well done!

I just realized something, yesterday, I was talking to my sister about what cake we should bake next together and I had said rainbow. Now that is odd. Then I had said to her I was craving the chips ahoy rainbow cookies. That must be what you picked up? My bedspread is not rainbow but a floral pattern with soft reds, pinks and crèmes.

You really did pick up something exact there juniperb! that was great.

so gifted
