Faery, Thank you so much, dear one. Well, 3 degrees is wide for an asteroid. Some people would not count it at all, so that is prolly why you did not feel it. You are fortunate because no one wants this one lol------------------

To be honest I have no idea how to interpret the aspect. I was kinda thinking of child representing my own child which is why I was nervous that Dejanira was conjunct it. But I don't have any children so maybe that was a stretch.

Child is you!! Child opposed moon is an aspect that would make it hard to connect emotions to your chldhood...perhaps numb would be a feeling to describe how you feel about your childhood?
There's a lot you know logically you need to feel but you can't connect to the feelings....you will eventually!

Ami Anne my Nemesis conjuncts my guy's desc.
I know I hurt him very badly many years ago n broke his heart all because of something stupid i said.I dont think he hated me then but he was extremely miserable.Now that we r together will this aspect play out again n again?I hope u will take the time to answer this. Thank u. IP: Logged |

Wow, great question. I really don't know my friend. I don't want to say anything that will be discouraging but I will give my honest answer as if I were in your shoes.If I loved the person, I would not let this turn me away but I would WATCH it as it is an energy and the energy of your hurting him and not being on his side. I would be aware of it and vigilant about it. That would be the best way to deal with it. I think you WILL feel the urges to hurt him but you can force yourself to pull back and not do it. You could even tell him about it, so he would know. I would be open about it, if I could. I do think that all our energies are there from our charts but we do have a free will, too.

Ami, thank G-d for you and your prolific writing and your Gemini-driven need to inform. Really, I mean that.I had not even thought about Nemesis when I play around with synastries. Now, thanks to you, I punched it into a synastry with the man I'm currently obsessing over, and whaddya know? I must say, though, although I don't have either of my parents' TOB's, I have played around with the charts enough to have settled on good theoretical charts for both of them. And I have prominent Nemesis contacts with both of them. Oy vey! Worse than anything, though, is that with my son, whose TOB I know of course, my Nessus (moving on to another asteroid) exactly conjunct his AC. That makes me very sad, because there have been times since he became a toddler when he has gotten on my very last nerve and I have lashed out verbally in a way that I knew, a few seconds later, that I had really been excessively harsh. And he remembers every incident, of course, and holds each and every one against me. And will never forget. So the only thing left for me to do is try very very very hard in future interactions to curb my tongue. The funny thing is, most people consider me a sweet and compassionate person, and I am this way with my son mostly, but every once in a blue moon, this other nasty being takes over and I just say things I really ought not to. AS to your son. Yikes. Someone else has the same kind of thing and was troubled.

Thank you for you reply Ami. I read about nemesis in your website. My Sun n Nemesis conjuncts his Desc.This is weighing heavily on me. As a person I tend to forgive n forget readily. But my guy doesnt. He is a very stubborn person. We discussed this n he said he saw me as a heartbreaker cuz i was flighty n irresponsible. Nowadays i am more grounded. Like u im an earth void Ami.He said he adjusts for me n will always do it as long as I love him n be with him. He is a Taurean.

There is an asteroid, Plunge, too. You should get it out. I am not sure of the number right now.

Hmmm, Ami, I am beginning to wonder about that Nessus. Maybe it has different meanings than just being about abuse. Maybe?PLEASE DON'T QUOTE - I AM GOING TO EDIT THIS OUT TOMORROW: I just did the synastry between me and a woman. She is the wife of that inmate I am helping out. I have not only helped him, I have helped her, as well, over the past couple of years. I send her money for basic necessities when she tells me she's broke. We talk on the phone once or twice a week. It feels very close. Well, anyway, now I see that her Prey is on her ASC. And in our synastry, my Nessus is on her DC, her Vertex is on my moon, my vertex is on her Jupiter. He said that's seen by the aspects to my Sun/Merc and the asteroid Compassion that sits on my Sun/Merc!
I think all asteroids must be looked at in this way, I was really surprised to find it's meaning so different than I had expected but it made perfect sense!

Ami, I'm gonna tell you how some of these asteroids played in my last relationship:His Lust Conj my Sun - He said to me that our relationship was only sexual. It is 3 degree, but somehow we felt it. I always felt strange to someone have such a sexual desire for me, I'm not a Barbie  . His Nemesis Conj My Jupiter - As anything that touches Jupiter... the first time I saw him, I had a great feeling for beating on his face. I didn't understand this at first, looking now at this I could see why. The Conj is 0 degree. From that I learned to trust in my first gut reactions... His CasaNova Conj My Mars - Every time we fighted, i got disarmed. Yes, that was the feeling. He was worng and I got disarmed. I really didn't enjoy this combination... His Prey Conj my Nymphe - Here I thank God for not had sex with him. He somehow got me wanting to go to bed with him. Another combinations that isn't my favorite... The most interesting thing, from all these asteroids, none of mine were making aspects to his planets... a real mess in my life... Thanks God it is over... I just saw your post Crabby. Well, to me, the charts will always come to pass. That is all I can say. They are a harbinger of things. If things have not happened yet and all times of birth are correct, to me, they will happen. Other people do not agree but that is what I have seen, in my own experience, Crabby dear ------------------

Ami Ann, I'm so new to this. I've been studying astrology off and on for thirty years, more on than ever for the last four, but oh my goodness, there is so much to learn!Please help me to understand these aspects. In natal, I have Dejanira conjunct Sun in Libra in 2nd (also conjunct NN). (Yes, I was abused as a child in all ways except sexually. Thank God I escaped that one. I also managed to choose an abusive marriage; what I've read of your words on Dejanira fit me absolutely.) My Uranus is conjunct ASC. The guy in whom I'm interested has Dejanira conjunct Psyche/Destinn in Aqua in 10th which is conjunct my DSC and all square my Eros and opposing my Uranus/ASC. Dejanira/Psyche/Destinn is also sextile his Moon in Sag and square his Mars (conjunct ASC) in Taurus in 1st. (And his Mars opposes my Eros.) Lord, some of these orbs might be off. I can't seem to load charts to photbucket, sorry. How does Dejanira play out for him natally and for us in synastry? Thank you for any light you can shed on this. ***Added: Oh dear. I think Deprez here would be one of the toughest placements because your whole emotional energy plummets into a depression, leaves nothing to pull you out! When you fall you fall hard and with little resources to find the light at the end of the tunnel your energy disappears your will disappears you probably just want hibernate and won't let anyone help you. I would imagine good transits and bad transits over this area affect your mood a lot! Your heart can't carry anymore pain and it's time to start purging it!! This asteroid is going to make you hurt enough you finally do something about it, no more burying the pain!
Let your pain breathe! Let yourself feel it and don't be afraid you can't handle what you feel...you can!
Once you get over the initial shock of the pain, this is momentary if you really embrace the hurt wholeheartedly, you will start to feel better...so cry or scream or do whatever you need to feel it and then it will be easy to release it!
Fear is what keeps it bottled up inside so that it can slowly eat away at your soul....don't be afraid of it!
When you got hurt you were a different person than now, now you can handle feeling and releasing what has hurt you!
