I just noticed today that I have an Alice-North Node conjunction - bothways - with an important friend.

I haven't looked extensively at Alice, so I am going to collate the LL threads on her here to read (thanks to the past researchers and contributors).

Also if anyone wishes to offer their interpretation of this placement, please do!

Hmm. That was actually all I could find.

I have Alice conjunct Pluto at Regulus. But have no idea what it implies.

Pluto 28.17
Alice 28.43
Regulus 29.13

Astrokeen,

you may be comfortable with deep examination of the unknown? Depending on the sign, right enough.

I'm thinking that the Alice-NN bothways may indicate that our ways of handling/examining the unknown push each other toward our North Nodes...

Leading each other down the rabbit hole of our destined lifepaths. I'm sounding a bit airy fairy here, not sure how to put it into cold, hard language.

I'm thinking the house Alice resides in will be where we feel lost in a dreamworld, desperately trying to make sense of the abstract.

Where we try to apply logic, but fail, and have to learn a new way of perceiving, or re-framing that which we do not understand.

Just some thoughts.

Ami,

I am thinking along those lines, but more in the way that because of the crazy, we have to look at it from a different angle, with modified mindset.

So perhaps it is the searching for sense in the nonsense, but through this, the development of a new perception.

This sounds very good. Asteroids help fine tune the meaning of the planets they aspect. In my case, Alice conjunct Pluto in 1st, sounds like the key to pluto's transformative potential.

It fits in nicely with the Sabian symbol.
A MERMAID EMERGES FROM THE OCEAN WAVES READY FOR REBIRTH IN HUMAN FORM.

KEYNOTE: The stage at which an intense feeling-intuition rising from the unconscious is about to take form as a conscious thought.

Yes, but more so, I think, it is the GIFT to stay sane, when all else is going crazy.

And the start of it all is curiosity and maybe even more so a search for "authenticity"

That is BRILLIANT, Ceri.

That is so true, the way out of a crazy environment is to seek authenticity!

Thank you

Actually the direction is reverse.

Out of a STIFLING (or boring or unfulfilling) environment right into a CRAZY world, where we find authenticity at last (and out of the craziness of course).

It`s like going from one extreme to the other to find out what is REAL to us.

Ceridwen,

I like your thinking on this.

One of the main motivations for the urge to explore the unknown or being drawn into a nonsensical world is tiring of the mundane and the pretentiousness that goes along with "same old same old".

Status quo? Bah humbug!!

Yes. Chaos is indeed a large part of the authentic universe. Where else to discover the truth, but in the unbridled, uncontrolled wilds of the world.
Only "nonsense" if understood with the conditioned brain, hence the need to approach with the curiosity of a child again.

We should always remember to protect our sense of wonder. Thank you Alice!!!

I have Alice at 26 Taurus. Exactly conjunct a friend's Sun. Odd.

It's also square my Eros, and conjunct my Moon by 4 degrees. That might be too much for an asteroid. In my 7th house.

I have TEA at 0 Aquarius. Exactly trine my Moon/Venus, and square my Uranus (also the ascendant).
