If anyone wishes to give me birthtime, date and place and post it to irishchat@hotmail.com I can look at any weight issues. It is complex and varied and of course emotions play a big part as we all know.IP: Logged |

For anyone who wants to know, I actually tried the diet for the plumpies and followed it very strictly to make sure it worked...and it did. I went for the minimum 45 days and lost 10 pounds. I know your not supposed to weigh yours-elf but I did a couple times to see how well it was working. I also did the pants test and found that they didn't fit as tightly. I didn't loose as much weight as I wanted to but was unable to continue for longer than 45 days due to my schedule. I think that most of the diet has to do with the mind more than the physical procedure. If you believe that it will work and are excited about it, then it will. I didn't start to see results until after 7 days and the rest of the weight was slow to drop but I kept it off permanently. I tested this by sitting on my butt for a week and eating nothing but junk food. Not healthy but I didn't gain any weight. My weight no matter what amount I exercise or what I eat, will not change. Out of curiosity, this week I'm going to try to break the effects just by willing it so to see if Linda was rihgt about going back to the calorie illusion. I actually still believe what Linda does but I figure all I have to do is ordain it so. I'll let you know how it's going later since this is only the 2nd day. Sorry this is so long but I hope it helps IP: Logged |

Hi Muse,That's really interesting news. Did you use white flour, as Linda's instructions are a little unclear on that. And were you overweight when you went on the diet? IP: Logged |

hi i new here. that's an interesting tidbit because i have excess fat in my tummy and always thought it was due to a slow metabolism. Neha i know that you tried the color diet with little succes and was wondering how your doing with atkins? Also has anyone else had any experiences with the color diet? IP: Logged |

I did the diet and it worked for me too. I got my red light at walmart 100 watts. I got my red ruby glasses at the antique mall. I used a tape of John Philip Sousa marches from Hastings. I chose the daybreak and did the visuals. IT'S MAGIC. Love my bod more than ever.IP: Logged |

Hi eternal, Im not doing the Atkins thing anymore, I was just grossed out by it, although it does work. The diet I do now, which Ive been doing for about three months, really works. Its just basically a Mediterranean diet that involves eating either protein and carbs or protein and fat, but no mixing carbs and fat. So you have to eat fat free yogurt, or fat free cheese if youre putting cheese in a sandwich. You can look the diet up at monignac-intl.com. Its an old diet that the atkins diet is actually derived from. Ive lost a lot of weight so far on it, and following the menu very closely has helped to become a healthier person. I now eat a lot of veggies, very little sugar (no soft drinks, candy, etc.), no potatoes or cooked carrots, and a lot more protein and fruit and just healthy stuff. I also eat a lot more meat now, but mostly fish. I also exercise like five times a week. I dont recommend Atkins since its just too extreme and unrealistic. It also takes you away from good nutrition and it makes you more agressive. And once you stop the diet, you gain the weight right back, but you cant make a lifetime commitment to it since its so unhealthy. Just eat right and exercise. I still have cookies and stuff, but just in moderation. Neha IP: Logged |

Welcome Shruti! I don't know of any place in India these bulbs are available. Maybe you could try ordering them over the net? Someone once posted a website where they're available and I copied and pasted it into a folder where I keep stuff for reference. The site is atlantalightbulbs.com. Ask for the red ceramic bulb. Apparently, you have to buy them in bulk, though. I hope this is useful. Good luck with the diet. IP: Logged |

Hello, Shruti, it's me again. I have some problems in hotmail; that's why I appear here. I hope my presence helps you to get convinced about that red diet. IT generally WORKS; the main assistance for its success is your own mind, and that's the way I promote that diet around here. I wanna tell you that Linda said something about those red glasses: plastic glasses are good and work well (my book is in Spanish; I don't know yours). The true problem is that red bulb; there's not a plastic one. Bases Loaded IP: Logged |

Two glasses a day--one each morning and one each evening. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

So two can be charging the solarized water while the other two are being brought inside to room temperature to be used. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I'm sure two in the morning and two at night wouldn't hurt anything, though. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |
