Stupid full moon. I had to look to see if Mercury had gone retro or something. Nope. IP: Logged |

You're welcome! And I just love thinking of giggling little kids, so thank you for telling me more about your son! The jokes I mentioned...yesterday my 3 year-old got into bed with me, started talking my ear off, then lifted up my shirt a bit and announced: "Your belly button is funny!" then fell over laughing. That's the kind of thing he does. Then this morning, I noticed he had a mark on his hand, so I asked how it happened. "Well," he explained, "C thought I was a piece of paper! So he drawed on me." Too bad adults don't talk like that, life would be more interesting. Re: Soap...Yes, I did use Borax and baking soda for laundry detergent for a little while, and it worked about halfway, like you said. The clothes were rather clean but not CLEAN clean. So I went back to health store detergent. I don't have my exact birth time, but having Mercury in the 6H has been one thing I use to "rectify" the chart, because I have this huge health library, so it only makes sense. And yes, in all things, I prefer natural to synthetic. I saw you two talking about spinning wool and... I love watching people do that and would love to do it myself some day. I love wool and sheep and alpacas and everything fuzzy! IP: Logged |

Oooohh. I don't know if I'll be able to help it, with Neptune peering directly at my Sun the way he has been. You know, it's weird that while I was the only kid in my town (besides two or three others) who was listening to bands like The Cure in the '80s, I was simultaneously digging through my dad's old records, and fell in love with The Stones. Somehow, in all of my Stones album collections, I never came across this one. Weird, eh? I had Through the Past, Darkly so of course I was familiar with 2000 Light Years From Home. But now I feel compelled to check out this album. IP: Logged |

Here's some by a band I liked in the '90s called Sky Cries Mary (they're local to where I live, so I don't know how well known they are elsewhere). They covered 2000 Light Years From Home really well...If you go about 4 minutes into the "video", there's the song I like the best by them. "Moving Like Water". http://youtu.be/klgj5s6I7ho IP: Logged |

I always called it "THE Stones Album." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdUVn1OmQtc I have the three-dimensional original cover, I grew up on this album.(Another thing I cavaged from Mom, must admit.) I embroidered Judas Priest, Scorpions, Heart, Triumph and the Blue Oyster Cult Kronos; and I wanted to do that Fire, Water, Earth & Air Framework on the back of the cover, but I somehow got sidetracked...

WOW!!! Wow. That sounds absolutely beautiful.Do you mind if I ask what time zone you're in? I think I want to live in your vicinity, and spend my time embroidering and spinning. But we'll probably just end up stuck here or in Phoenix, haha. Oh well. Could be far worse than all that... IP: Logged |

That's funny, my husband and I were just talking about Mt. Shasta last night, and my friend just moved down to his (my husband's) home town, and took some pictures of the mountain on her way up here to visit family. I can imagine that it's beautiful there... IP: Logged |

Well, it gets pretty hot. I used to live under Mount Lassen, it was way up in elevation from here, we aren't much above sea level. It's nicer on the coast.IP: Logged |

Well, you know, things happen, but you get it under control and you deal with it. It's all in how you think, keep your eyes on that Crystal Vision prize. By the way, once you've dealt with it, you feel much stronger, like you rose to the challenge. Hey, I found this really beautiful picture I want to show to you... IP: Logged |
