I can only hope my son wants to play drums so I can learn from him, haha. His uncle is a drummer, and my husband plays bass but of course he doesn't have much time for it anymore. We'll just set up a drum set in the garage or the barn or something! IP: Logged |

Heck no, I'm proud of you if that's what you've been doing! At least half of my female friends are bi or lesbians. Of course you can talk to me about that, it's totally appropriate as far as I'm concerned. Gosh, I'm the last person who would find that uncomfortable in any way. Being true to your soul is the only thing that matters in this world, imo. IP: Logged |

Hahahaha.I was a little concerned but didn't want to pry, as I saw that you were rather scarce around here. I'm happy that you're finding out more about what you really want in life. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters. IP: Logged |

I've always felt more comfortable with that side of the coin.Men can be so selfish, demanding & self-absorbed and it's nice to just relax. Ya know? I would have fit right in with the Darkover Circle, when Marion Zimmer Bradley was presiding, I Am Certain. (Oh crap, it even looks like me) IP: Logged |

Oh jeez, I wish I was familiar with what you're referring to, I haven't read all of her books, just The Mists of Avalon. A lot of my closest friends have come to the conclusion that guys just aren't their cup of tea (or coffee, heh).

At any rate, I hope that it opens new possibilities for you in the best way. It's always such a cool experience to realize the possibility of new, unexplored (or maybe only briefly explored) paths that allow us to realize a greater happiness in life.Well...I was trying to find a cool song for you, but the one that came to mind was this one. A little "smooth", but still great lyrics. http://youtu.be/69UnOoCZsG8 "It ain't about who ya love... It's all about DO ya love?" IP: Logged |

It isn't that I've changed in any way, heck, my last experience was a long time ago. It's just that most of the men I've encountered of late have no sense of any common decency, and I could do with a rest from the self-absorbed. It's a real pleasant break from the predatory.

Ah, I'm so pleasantly surprised that my son likes the Stones! He doesn't really like a lot of rock, but he liked a few from Sticky Fingers. Love this song so much... http://youtu.be/n9w-HjMT2M4 IP: Logged |
