Hiya!

Will you tell me more about your chart, or post it?

I've got:

15 Cap sun
5 Aqua Mercury

So we might have some conjunctions.

LOL "pseudo-Leo" You do it so convincingly!

What do you think, maybe it's all your key planets clustered around your ASC, yelling "FIRE"?

Plus 5H Jupiter, chart ruler in the 1st house, and sun's ruler on the ASC. Does the sun rule your 9th house?? MORE fire.

See, in a pinch, you can make fire with two sticks- or - with red lines from planet to planet, in the fire houses.

I'm like in Vertex Kindergarten, I have no idea what it's about. But maybe it's very important.

So your Venus is conjunct my Mercury
Your sun is conjunct my sun-moon MP @ 17 Aqua
Your Neptune conjunct my sun
Your Jupiter sorta on my 20 Taurus SN
Your Pluto on my 20 Scorpio NN

We are both prim Virgo Junos.

I envy all your beautiful trines, my chart is more a heap of t-squares.

How do you feel about NN conjunct moon? My daughter has that in Gemini. I've been worried about it because some of the readings, especially Vedic, are so fatalistic. But you seem really happy and thriving.

I think you are right about the 1st house stellium- it gives me more of a personality than you would expect. The problem is that there are so many planets on my ASC that my personalty can come across very differently to people.

The Neptune-ASC in the most obvious, people like to project onto me whatever they wish to see in me at times. Now Lillith on my ASC? Muhahahahaha.

5th house Jupiter is fun! Sun doesn't rule my 9th, it does rule my 8th though. Mercury rules my 9th but is trine to Jupiter.

Hey now: I have a good number of squares in my chart! I wouldn't want a chart of only trines because then you are too passive and run the risk of not reaching your potential. I'm a glutton for punishment, don't like to take the easy path.

Venus conjunct Mercury is one of my favorite synastry aspects- I always have good convo with these people.

LOL at prim Virgo Juno, so true.

NN on Moon is fatalistic!?!?! I disagree with the vedic interp, because it is mostly good for me. I find my life purpose is highly connected to my emotions. It also relates to the fact I truly enjoy nurturing and caring for others through my job. Its supposed to be a great aspect for public vocation and being able to gain popularity through personality. Developing a spirituality system is something of importance as well (Pisces).

The bad: I think this is why I tend to be an emotional eater, but it has gotten much better lately because I am willing to deal with past feelings instead of burying (eating) the pain. I have always found it difficult to deal with the emotional side of life, so this aspect is part of my destiny in learning how to give and receive care.

Edit: you know I wasn't always so 'Leonine.' It makes sense being a CAP asc. I used to be deathly shy, quiet, and even the thought of getting in front of the class to talk made me vomit. Now, you clearly can't get me to shut up! Some things get better with age.

Still laughing about "glutton for punishment." Yeah, that's gotta be your Cap stellium? Thriving on challenges.

Thanks for explaining more about NN-moon. Having both in water signs does sound advantageous...like rather than stumbling forward towards your NN blindly, you can just follow your emotions.

'Love your optimism. Vedic astrology confuses and scares me, most of the time. Even looking at Vedic charts makes me panic a bit, feeling like I don't have the brainpower to ever be able to decipher them.

So people project things onto you...I see that because I did the same. Projected Leo. Is it exhausting, having to correct assumptions so often?

I feel like people misunderstand me, too. I think it's from having a splash chart and coming from so many different angles at once.

My sun, moon, and Uranus are my only feminine planets, and each of those is at the apex of a separate t-square, where the base planets are masculine. See:

Cardinal t-square:
15 Cap sun (earth singleton)
16 Aries Jupiter
11 Libra Pluto

Mutable t-square:
18 Pisces moon
16 Gemini Mars
12 Sag Neptune

Fixed t-square:
6 Scorpio Uranus
5 Aqua Mercury
0 Leo Saturn

So I feel like a weirdo. And I also used to be painfully shy...but I think my sun progressing in Aquarius around age 15 helped me throw off Saturn and claim my right to be this weirdo.

One more question, you mentioned teaching, do you teach grade school? Sounds hard, but with 10 Scorpio Pluto...and Scorpio MC (?) then you're equipped for anything!

Honestly, I don't know whether it is a subconscious thing or my chart aspects playing out, but challenges are pretty common for me. Nothing ever comes easy to me even with Jupiter in 5th.

My Jupiter is actually pretty negatively aspected, but...this manifests in a good way because I create my own luck. No matter how crappy things get as long as I put effort and care into a situation things tend to work out well in the end.

Re NN-Moon: ITA. I think it is also why I am so focused on women's rights. NN-Moon also includes relating to females/women, so a lot of my volunteering relates to helping women in any capacity (NOT that I don't care about men or anything, don't need MRA police coming at me ).

Probably also why I have gotten into heated debates on gender here lolololol. At the end of day I'm going speak my mind if I see something problematic and have no problem losing popularity in the process. I get really angry when I see victim blaming and aggressively anti-female sentiments, so I really have to learn to tone it down lol.

I'm on the fence about Vedic, I think its important to study but I am so with you: WTF is with the doom and gloom all the time?

However...Vedic keeps telling me I will be very rich and famous so....

The projection is pretty common and the Neptune-ASC doesn't help me. I don't really have to correct too often, it is more of a once you get to know me you see how I really am. Do you feel as Cap people easily misrepresent you? I feel this is also a Cap thing.

Hell. sometimes I feel like I don't even understand myself!

You weren't joking about those squares! Interesting though, how do they play out in your life? I have serious respect for anyone who has a Saturn aspect in a critical degree, Saturn alone is a mofo so props to you for learning how to master that energy.

I think your aspects make you very interesting, no weirdos to be found in here (...maybe me?).

Actually I don't teach grade school- it is much worse!! I teach undergrads! It gets interesting at times because I am often the same age or younger than them lolol. We could be homies outside of class pretty much.

I have Libra MC- Scorpio MC would kind of amazing to have.

P.S.: clearly I am a motormouth because this is super long.

P.P.S.: My Moon progressed into Aqua this year, my ridiculousness is only going to get worse!

Hi there!

So you teach undergrads?! Smart! Not sure if it's prying to ask what you're teaching, but if it is, nevermind that I'm hinting I'd like to know.

NN-moon and women's rights: Makes sense! I can see my daughter getting involved with that, too. She likes Katy Perry's song ROAR and stuff like that. LOL

^ Same here, though...LL politics is a long story...to just stick around and enjoy it a little bit, I do have to ignore some of the cr*p.

If Vedic is saying you are going to be rich and famous...just remember me when you get there okay? I'd love to go to one of your Academy Award after-parties, and I'll mind my manners and won't spill wine on my dress (or anyone else's.) I would even get the 11's between my eyes botoxed.

But seriously I haven't researched Vedic much....I'll do that now...

Ugh, most of it lags behind by one sign. They have me as Cancer rising, Sag sun, Aqua moon, etc.

Oh this is great:

quote:
Master of the lagn Moon in the 8th house indicates that you will be healthy and strong, though your speech will be rough. You will suffer a lot. You will travel to foreign countries. You may not be very good looking. You will advance after encountering a lot of hardships and try employing secret means. You will do research in mythology. You takes care in acquiring wealth. You always think well of your family. You may go on a wrong path occasionally. You have a solemn, sad nature. You will gain from your life. You will suffer from diseases. Your mother will suffer from ill health. You will suffer from an eye disease .Your death may occur due to diabetes, excessive vomiting or tuberculosis. You will lose a lot of money. Your spouse too will suffer from ill health. You will be very miserable and unhappy.

quote:
Moon in Aguarius: you are of medium stature, having hands full of hair,a prominent neck and bones, large thighs and feet and a black mole or mark either on your face or armpit or leg.

No mole yet, not that I can see my armpits too well, and my thighs are not that big.

Funny thing is how some of that exactly contradicts the reading for my sun, which says I (like you) am bound to be rich and famous. Not just ugly and dead. Also, the readings are hilariously random:

quote:
You will get fame, wounds on the head and will have a good reputation. You have the determination to win over your enemies. You will get help from the government. You will have giddiness, rheumatism and liver complaints and will be nervous. You will be wealthy and famous.

Courtesy of these people

Fame, head wounds, rheumatism, giddyness, government hand-outs. Okaaay then.

Your moon progressed into Aqua sounds enjoyable, hope you have a good time with it! I've never researched to see when mine was in Capricorn, conjunct my sun.

Mine is in Leo now, probably not in my first house yet. Having a first house moon scares me, I don't actually want to be that transparent, especially not in a Leo way. "Hi, nice to meet you, let me tell you how great I am! "

j/k I'm sure it won't be like that.

I'm a motormouth, too, as you can see...especially with Mars transiting my 3rd house, trine my natal Gemini Mars. Too bad I never learned how to be an auctioneer, it'd help me blow off verbal steam. hehehe

No, you are not prying! I teach kinesiology. It gets weird since I am a PhD student and some of my students are older than me!

I usually don't post too personal info on this site, but it isn't people like you I am concerned about. Its the posters who say things like 'oh, I bet I have some planets in your t-square and thats why we don't get along.' 'Post your chart so I can see why we have issues.' IDK, I get really uncomfortable vibes from some and don't want to give ammunition out.

Don't worry, my progressed moon, sun, and venus in 1st house won't forgot all you little people.

Vedic is hilarious to me because either I am not reading reputable interpretations or it is seriously a black or white world we live in: you will be rich or poor, pretty or ugly, fat or thin, unibrow or no unibrow lol.

I have an Aqua moon in Vedic too! I don't have a mole but I do have a weird birthmark on my back. Here is my chart:

ASC Sag
CAP Sun in 2nd: wealth with 'conditions' (....okay?)
Aqua Moon in 3rd:you are interested in education, astrology, science and politics (TRUE!)
Aries Mars in 5th: you will be wise, rich (x2), respected and hold influence in govt and
society
Cap Mercury in 2nd: you acquire money through your intelligence and will be happy, wealthy
I'm not making this up and famous
Taurus Jupiter in 6th: You will be very rich but will be careful in parting with your money.
You dominate your enemies

See that ^ haters! lolololol

Cap Venus in 2nd: you will acquire wealth from many means. You are fond of good food and
drinks. Your spouse will be very good looking Sign me up!
Sag Saturn in 3rd: you are very rich so wheres my money now??? and a competent business
person. You possess an impressive personality. Your eyes are very attractive
Aqua Rahu in 3rd: You command many people. You are happy with wealth and other necessary
things
Ketu in 9th: you enjoy high honours and fame in govt, society and foreign countries[
BRB getting my visa ready

Moon in 1st is actually good in the sense you feel more confident in showing who you are. I really DGAF anymore about pleasing my Saturn in 1st as being proper, quiet, and conforming: Sun, Neptune, Venus in 10th house in next year's solar return! I think next year is going to be a very critical year for me. When I had Cap moon it wasn't very fun: very darkened and dismal personality. Even dyed my hair super dark. Leo moon progressed sounds like a good time though- I need more fire! My Mars will progress into Gemini next year (?) I believe- looking forward to it!

P.S. how is your Pluto transit going? I feel like I am the only one going through Pluto in 1st.

Thank you! I got a good laugh out of your comments. And I needed to laugh, cuz this Cancer sun is beating me up!

How do people LIVE with Cancer suns? That's what I want to know. I just thank my lucky stars I have a nice permafrost interior because feeling at the mercy of my emotions...and I have, lately....is no fun. Crazy-making almost.

You asked about my Pluto transit and I think that's going okay, thanks...actually feels empowering and interesting. It's transiting my 6th house, I've made some dietary changes that are long overdue: giving up wheat, most additives, most animal food. Bouncing on our trampoline instead of just looking at it feeling like I should...getting a feel for what lymph in motion actually does to a person.

How do experience Pluto in the 1st? More direct than usual?

Kinesiology, is that going to be your PhD? I'm busting at the seams with questions! For now ~ just one ~ is kinesiology just about diagnosing food allergies/chemical sensitivities?

LOL about people trying to lure you into fights with a wolf-in-sheep's-clothing, "So tell me about your placements? "

When they really mean, "I'm going to trash you placements soooo bad when I get ahold of them! "

Yup yup, I've seen all that before. I'm such a jaded little "Knowflake" at this point.

And btw, it's rare that I criticize placements, because I realize that I LIKE someone with just about every placement I've encountered. And maybe you can relate, it's the Pisces moon identifying with everyone, or at least seeing where they are coming from.

Just looked up my progressed chart and there I have Cancer Saturn AND a Leo moon in the 11H. How does one express that? Emotional reservation + flamboyance = awkward

The energy I'm working with reminds me of Ally Sheedy in the Breakfast Club...hmmm...yeah, she's got a Cancer Venus and Leo NN...she rocked it.

^ Sooo true.

Glad I could make you laugh! Are you having really bad transits? Mine are okay, so its not as bad as I originally thought.

Co-signed on Cancer Suns: IDK man, I don't get on too well with Cancer placements unless someone has earth or air in their chart as well. You would be in your feels all the time.

I'd rather be a confusing and emotionless stone any day of the week! I do not like having moon as my DSC ruler, all I attract are the stage-5 clingers who want to know what I am doing every second of the day. You want know what I am doing? Not you! lololol.

Do you have food allergies? I heard that Pisces aspects are very sensitive to chemicals/preservatives/toxins, so good on you to make changes! Did you have a health crisis to trigger it or just wanted to get all Plutonian and make a change?

Pluto in 1st has been really interesting. I relate to the description I read where 'you will wake up one day as a different person,' and it couldn't be truer for me. At first, didn't feel as if I made changes to anything about myself, but looking at how much my personality and some of my appearance have changed over the past 3 years I get it now.

I had the well-loved Pluto conjunct Saturn as well. This triggered health issues when a doctor misprescribed me antibiotics for a virus. My digestive system has been dismal since then: developed food allergies, stomach cramps, fatigue, hair loss, and all those wonderful things that come with malabsorption. I went to naturopath and was diagnosed with systemic candida, which makes sense given my weird health issues. Currently working on killing the yeasties.

I noticed my magnetism has increased, even when I want to remain anonymous or invisible. I have been thrown into leadership positions and pushed to come into my personal power. I find I am able to get what I want out of my circumstances but not in a manipulative way but rather by gaining respect and probably secretive fear in people. I'm way more outgoing, outspoken, and out of mind lol.

PhD: yes. Kinesiology is actually called the study of movement, so we look at biomechanics, exercise activity, health and wellness, health promotion, exercise prescription- a very comprehensive field. Food allergies are more nutrition related, but it is an area I want to get into more because i want to prove systemic candida is real.

ITA: that is why I won't post my natal chart here. I get a sense of false compassion if that makes any sense. IDK, I've seen so many baiting situations that you really have to learn to pick and choose your battles.

I tend to look at the good and bad of particular placements, because aspects change everything. That is why I get so annoyed in Astro 2.0 when people will make generalizations about a sign placement without considering the aspects that influence it.

"When you grow up, your heart dies"

Not if you don't have one to begin with (Aqua Sun and Venus)!

Does your pMoon and pSaturn aspect each other?

LOL!

I don't really know why I said that yesterday, of course it's not true that everyone's heart dies! Some come to life!

But the accumulation of heartbreaks takes its toll...but, whatever, I think it's an interesting challenge, to regain warmth. Or chi/prana. Whatever feels good. =)

It's kinda weird...Pluto's been creeping up on my sun. In some ways I have a secret life (shhhhh) and have feared that Pluto is going to pry the lid off of that, exposing me to all the world. But my privacy seems intact so far. Maybe, for me, with a Scorpio NN, experiencing a sun-Pluto conjunction is going to work out so it reaffirms all my reasons for being secretive in the first place. And Saturn has been tumbling back and forth over that NN, adding to this whole "subdued" theme I'm living through.

Uranus is conjunct my Jupiter, square my sun, that's been manageable. Er...Chiron on my moon...strengthening in a painful way, like doing too many sit-ups?

ROTFL! I can see that happening, you're likeable. Besides all the advantages I've enjoyed just from being plain looking and deceptively "beige"-seeming (Rabbit conformity masking my heavily aspected Aqua Mercury. Aqua pr sun)...on top of the repellant value of those things, I think my Sag Venus-Neptune has given me strong intuition about who may or may not turn clingy on me. So I dodged them.

Or wait...did I dodge them? Hmmm...I've mostly been with Leos since I entered adulthood and they are clingy...not emotionally clingy (I couldn't handle it) but sorta like 100% invested in the relationship. Which I generally like. But it can be exhausting, infuriating, etc., when they want to know where you are all the time. Their suns more or less square my nodal axis, p*ssing off my NN. But my husband has the same nodal axis (we are 18 years apart) and that does help a lot.

How do I summarize? I have a 6H sun and Mercury, never had extravagant health, though I've pretty much always eaten healthy and stayed thin. My latest issue has been Bartonella, a Lyme co-infection, which I contracted from a mosquito bite in 2010. Bartonella can infect the eyes and cause headaches, and I found these were exacerbated by wheat and additives. Drinking fresh wheatgrass juice and Flor-Essence (commercial Essiac), plus eating a mostly raw, mostly vegan diet has also done wonders for my head issues. Moreso than what is probably the most popular herbal protocol (scroll down, on the right, there's the supplements I was taking.) Eventually I should start taking them again.

Hmm. Forum life is so weird, I'm always bumping into things thinking, "Should I say this or not?" "Is this TMI or no?" I had systemic candida after giving birth to my first son...this was diagnosed through Quest Diagnostics. It was substantiated, scientifically. So WHY the receptionists at various GI doctors' offices gave me the cold shoulder when I called to inquire if a visit might be helpful, like with a snappy, "We don't treat candida here!" is beyond me. Like...grow up, allopathy! *Grow up*

Anyhoo, after driving myself crazy dutifully rotating my antifungals and literally writing down everything I wrote for months, to track my symptoms...I found someone on the internet saying that the first step to beating candida is through colon cleansing. Otherwise they will thrive on the old muck. So I....is anyone reading? hope not....so I did that, hard core. And I have to say, the results were impressive. The candida-related infertility that I was experiencing for a few years after my son was born immediately resolved, and I got pregnant with my daughter. I know I still have candida, but it's greatly improved.

Maybe that doesn't work for everyone but I am so grateful to that stranger for posting that advice...and tell my own story in case it helps others. Not intending to give advice, just a little unsolicited tour of options you may not have considered.

Cool! Just curious, has your style changed? Have you gone from preppy to punk, or vice versa...or from goth to classic business attire, maybe? I am the same size I was at age 14 (24 years ago) and would probably wear the same wardrobe if I had the clothes back in good condition. 'Just wouldn't wear baggy jeans anymore.

Sounds like you are actually enjoying a great time in your life. And all of this matches my impressions I've gotten of you from around the board. Not that *I* harbor secret fear of you...I mean, not that I would admit to secret fear if I had it...LOL

Also just looking at the person and hearing their experiences instead of concluding that if they have "evil" aspects, they are going to turn out a menace to society sooner or later. I was just looking at J.S. Bach's natal chart the other day...I dunno, seems dangerous, he's got a frickin Aries sun-ASC square Pluto, with a psycho Aqua moon and a Mars-Saturn-Venus/Mercury mutable t-square...Mars in the 8H so we now know what a perv he was...how deceptive his cutesy little symphonies all seem, in light of that chart!

Just kidding, his chart sounds more like this.

All that beauty from a hard chart...just like, tension on the strings can be the basis for melodies. =)

Frankly though, I am such a novice at interpreting progressed charts, I probably shouldn't even try to flub my way through a conversation on it. Makes more sense when others talk about it.

I've been meaning to ask you how long you've been doing astrology? And don't worry about replying to this huge post, I was just feeling chatty this morning.

OOOOOOHH secret life huh? Sounds interesting! I won't tell anyone, I promise! I won't ask what it is, but if your secrets get exposed will it be really bad or ultimately help you in the long run? I am a very secretive person as well, so I get where you are coming from.

Chiron-moon sounds painful. I have Chiron-Sun coming up for 2 years (ahh!) so I'm a little concerned about it tbh.

Girl, what you are talking about, you are fabulous Leo Ascendant! You are definitely not beige! I bet you have amazing hair too- I am very jealous of all my Leo ASC friends because their hair is always on point. Are you referring to being a Rabbit chinese sign? I'm a Snake lololol.

Leos are clingy? Hmm. I've only experienced the opposite. Did they have a lot of Virgo in their charts- this might explain the need to be 100% committed. The only people I know who are less commitment friendly than me happen to be Leos.

Wow, so sorry to hear about Bartonella! Any sort of Lyme-related disease is horrible to go through. Did it affect your vision? It sounds like you are very close to eating a raw vegan diet. If you don't mind, what do you typically eat every day? Sounds interesting.

A lot of women after pregnancy are being diagnosed with systemic candida, so I'm unfortunately not surprised. I didn't pop out a child, so what the hell is my excuse here? lolol. I got told that I had 'IBS' and simply had to learn to 'deal with my stress better.'

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't talk to me about stress!!!!!!!

Well, I guess I just proved their point ^

If this isn't TMI, what exactly did you do for your colon cleanse? I was actually thinking of doing one, because I have heard that as well. Have you heard of Astrid who do tarot tea readings? I got one from her almost two months ago and one of the things that kept coming up was cleansing and detoxing the body. I really need to do it!

CONGRATS on resolving the infertility issues! I bet plenty of women out there with infertility issues have candida issues as well.

Style hasn't changed too much, my appearance kind of has. My face lost its baby fat (obvs due to aging as well) and I have more of a Plutonian look. I also noticed I really look like my chinese zodiac sign, for better or worse. Now I see the 'amazing cheekbones' people have been telling me for years that I have/shamelesshumblebrag

I weigh the same due to malabsorption at times and being very physically active. No stalkers, but I have had creepy sexual advances that I quickly shut down. None of which were deserved: I was dressed normally and kept to myself. People are normally intimidated by me (or at least the vibe I have gotten), so people stare at me as if there is a booger on my nose.

I'd say I'm mostly enjoying my life. The health issues are tough and frustrating at times, so once I get this resolved I will unstoppable muhahahhahaha. I am a firm believer that when you open yourself up more to the universe only good can come from it.

Kinesiology: lifelong fitness enthusiast. Originally was a personal trainer, but didn't want that as an end career. I loved school and studying, so it was only natural I would be here.

ITA on the aspects, not everyone t-squares is going to be the next Stalin. Well if ask the Republicans Obama already is, but I don't even acknowledge that f@ckery.I got some more feels on 'false compassion' and general WTFery on postings I've seen, but I don't want to get this post closed.

I've been interested in astrology for 4 years, but 'studying' it for only 2. I actually lurked on here for a year and a half before registering here: didn't think I was worthy enough. I also know I'm talkative so there would be the risk of being on here too much.

Hello Bella and Faith!

Thanks for answering my degree question Bella.
What I was checking is this...

Some aquas I get along with and others I don't. My sun is 27.xx Leo. The guy at work is 26-27 aqua I think.
You're 18 so.. Veeeeeery wide opposition if at all. Another aqua here is early so only opposite by sign.
I was looking for something pattern in if they ACTUALLY oppose is better or if it's coincidence.
Anyway.... Sorry to barge in and all.
That was why I asked.

(No fire huh? I'm water void other than Uranus)

Hmm. maybe it is other aspect that is influencing it. I find with oppositions I either get along or I don't. Squares are worse though .I do have MC Libra at 27. Yeah, its funny because no one ever guesses I am fire void but having a 1st house stellium sort of masks it. Sort of.

Hi again, Bella! Nice to see you, DF.

I'm active on three threads at H & H, so if I reply on one, I feel like I ought to pop in and say "Hola!" on all the others.

As if anyone really cares.

But whatever, just wanted to say "Hi!" and I will reply more later. Hope your 4th was funky

LIES! I care.

4th was pretty good, mostly a low key day. Hope you had a good holiday as well (are you from the US? This could be way embarrassing if I am wrong)!

Hi again finally!

I tried to post this earlier today but the connection timed out. Forgive me if it appears again later, making this a double post.

LOL! Thanks, I'm glad I finally have someone to unburden myself to. Hang on, lemme just get my flask of vodka..."truth juice"...and let it take effect, then I will start at the very beginning!

Except...waaaaait a minute...

I get this weird feeling like other people are watching us and listening? Maybe I'm just paranoid? But it's almost like...I feel like I am in public. And no amount of vodka can drown that out, I don't think...

Save it for when we meet in person. Once I become that stage 5 clinger and show up as one of your "students" in kinesiology class.
*wink wink*

LOL, sorry...can't help goofing around with Aquarians. You all remind me of my Aquarius brother and our rapport is something like this...just off the wall! Let me know if...if you want me back on the wall...or whatever.

But no, seriously...I have this $%^&*#& 12H Saturn, it makes me feel guilty about everything, and my 8H moon rules the 12H. It's like my chart is demanding that I withhold information from people and then curse myself for being sneaky. Fun life I've got going on here.

Thank you! My hair is not always on point, but I get compliments on it, so maybe I am true to the Leo ASC legends. It's still thick and I only have like three gray hairs, though I don't dye it or use Rogaine.

Yes, I'm a Chinese Rabbit...you're lucky to be a Snake, they are the best sign ever. No offense to Dragons, if DF is reading. No offense to anyone, I just like Snakes a whole bunch.

Seriously? Maybe it's an outer planet thing? The Leos I knew and dated were either clingy or just very, very invested in their relationships. Maybe because my generation has Sag Neptune, Libra Pluto, putting a romantic spin on things. And no, I've never actually known a Leo without some Virgo mixed in. Not that I know of.

I might experience Leos differently also because I'm a Capricorn...Cap/Leo being a classic, common pairing.

I've fallen from vegan grace since the 4th of July...but usually, for the past few months or so, my diet has looked like this:

Breakfast: Fruit
Lunch: Huge salad, all kinds of vegetables
Dinner: Rice pasta and lightly cooked vegetables; raw vegan pesto

Painted myself into a corner didn't I?? Now I have to tell you...

*takes a big swig of that vodka I mentioned*

I bought this book and followed the extreme week-long cleanse. Fasting + weird supplements like beet tablets and niacin + "other stuff" (to put it euphemistically.)

Same here, exactly. Lurked and learned...then my first post at Know Two Are Alike was like, "Hi, you don't know this, but soon everyone is going to know who I am, and you'll understand why."

LOL

Just cuz I'm talkative and a hellraiser sometimes.

But yes, it took me a while to learn astrology, when this site was my main source of information. Simple things like the different ways that people talk about degrees would totally confound me at first, ie:

9*
9 dg
9 orb

^ All means the same thing, but I had no idea.

And some of it, I thought was so esoteric and far-out...I actually copied some woman's post that was full of astro-jibberish and sent it to one of my best friends, saying, "If I ever start talking like this, it's time for you to sit me down and gently let me know that I have officially fallen off my rocker. If I get like that...HELP ME."

And of course, I do talk like that now, and of course, my friend isn't helping me but coming to me for astrology advice. ROTFL...life is crazy but I like it this way.

#UranusRules!

Quick question ~ you mentioned on the Sag Venus thread that you love Sags...have you ever been in a relationship with one? Sag-Aqua seems like such an amazing match but I hardly ever see it lasting for long.

Paranoia? ITA!!! Its tough because I think about posting personal issues to understand how it relates to astrology, but then I see people maliciously throwing someone's past in their face and suddenly...NO THANKS JEFF!!!!

Besides...you need a Purple Viking if you want the truth to come out.

Did you read my Stage 5 clinger list? *checks notes* I'm on to you! Girl, I was born on the wall, no need to meet me there. Lets go rockclimbing lol.

12th house Saturn sounds like literal hell. How do you deal???? I think it is smart to withhold some information (barring it doesn't hurt anyone or yourself), because there are too many toxic people out there ready to take advantage of it. IDK, I've always been one to keep mum about very personal stuff no matter the setting.

My sister is a Rabbit!!!! Cool! Thats interesting you like Snakes because I swear to FG every description is negative. I get along with Dragons though mostly.

Thats interesting on the Leos, it could be generational differences (not that you're an old geezer or anything). I know a lot of Cap/Leo couples, which is funny since astrology 'says' they are incompatible.

You have amazing willpower to be primarily raw vegan, thats all I have to say! Do you get enough protein? Going raw vegan is something I ponder doing once the candida is good. Eating copious fruit + systemic candida= BBADDDDD.

Stress is usually internalized unfortunately, which is probably why I have digestive issues in the first place. I tend to absorb my feelings and not my nutrients.

lolol that was really lame. excuse me while I go hide in a corner....not one of my better one liners

Thanks for the book rec. Seriously contemplating doing one next week. figures it can't hurt at this point. IDK if you would be intimidated by me? I guess we would have to meet in person- just don't show up in my class and 5-Stage clinger me!

I would post my pic but again its a lack of trust and need of privacy that prevents me from doing it. I also like to keep it to the imagination, so people can view my 1st house stellium as they like. If I had your email I would totally send you a pic though.

Never too late to get into fitness! Trust me, any small change or effort daily produces great results in the long run. Lung capacity is tough after smoking but depending on how long you smoked and how long you have quit you can make significant gains on this.

WTFery sums up the week I had. I feel you, sometimes I have a really hard time understanding what people post and I wonder if it is me that is weird.

My last relationship was with a Sag and it was great! We broke up cause neither of us like the 'distance thing' and honestly the relationship ran its course. Totally would date another Sag.

Whats funny is that I have ended every single relationship I've been in. #heartbreaker #blackenedheart #crymeariver #don'tkillmyvibe

Not sure if that reflects well on me though.

Hi there!

Busy week I've had..didja miss me? =)

I'm going to try and reply to you all at once from memory, without glancing back at your post. When you get old like me, you need to exercise your brain with little challenges like this, keeping senility at bay.

Re: you broke up with all of your exes and were never dumped

All I can say is WOW, you have a great sense of timing! Wish I could have pulled the plug first every time...though I was only seriously dumped once. My first two boyfriends broke up with me saying, "We're too young to get married, and I want to date other people before I marry you." True to their word, both gents re-dated me later...but I broke up with them second time around. Just because of trust issues.

Vegan willpower:

I love health food, it tastes great to me, so that's what drives me to eat this way. But lately, I haven't been vegan...whereas I used to eat eggs/dairy once a month or so, now it's a few times a week.

Greens are surprisingly rich in protein, and green smoothies make all the nutrients more bioavailable...I drink a lot of them. My Vita-Mix is one of my few prized possessions that I wouldn't want to live without.

Re: Your fitness pep talk

Thank you. It really is encouraging to remember I can still make progress. I lose heart sometimes. Maybe because of my 12H Saturn that I mentioned above. It's not really "hell"...it's a quiet longsuffering. I like what Bob Marks has to say about it:

quote:
Saturn in the Twelfth House: suppresses depression. Of course everyone gets depressed now and then. But when someone with this placement gets depressed, the trap door to the subconscious swings open and all the old depression comes out. This can be temporarily immobilizing, the "I just can’t get out of bed today" syndrome. Folks with Saturn in the twelfth house are usually very reliable. Everybody else depends on them and leans on them as well. They have to find someone to lean on as well.

Link

Absolutely spot on...though I always get out of bed...'don't want bedsores, ya know.

Re: your stress

Is it just your career? Or Pisces moon sensitivity picking up on everyone else's stress, too? I may have already asked this, and in that case...see, told you I am going senile.

I saw on the Cap full moon thread that it strongly affected you. It felt to me like I was being emotionally vivisected...like something opened me up and laid all my emotions bare...but I have this handy way of looking at all my trials objectively and deriving some pleasure out of the investigation. Maybe it's my Aqua Mercury? Anyway...that takes the edge off of absolutely everything.

Hmm... can't remember anything else. Except that I wanted to ask if you are teaching again this fall semester?

All the best ~

No, its simply because I am selfish, heartless, a-hole! ;laughing;

The thing is I never got to the 'lets get married point.' Funny thing is most people my age are getting married and it is the furthest thing on my mind. Everyone is worried about the fact I am not married except for me!

Case in point: my aunt always asks me at family get togethers when I am planning to get married. I mean obviously it is a trick question because the correct answer is never!!!!! lolololol

Way to go girl! ITA. The thing is I want to start shifting towards a raw vegan diet, but I don't think I can do it until my candida is cleared up. You wanna buy me a Vita-Mix for Christmas? Yes or yes?????? Those are amazing.

That is such a tough energy to work with! I really don't notice my Uranus in 1st/12th TBH, probably because it is on the cusp. That has got to be the worst planet to have in 12th.

Lawd Jesus to both! Career has gotten some major setbacks, but I'm trying to stay positive. The thing about a Pisces moon is that I have learned to psychically protect myself from other people's energy- but NOT my own!!!! I have a tendency when things are going very well to be super, super happy but when negativity hits man do I fall quickly (....wow, I really sound bipolar here but I swear I am not!!!!). I have to be careful with my emotions, so I like to meditate as much as possible to keep my emotions at a neutral state if you get what I mean.

YES!!! It was like PMS on steroids! Things weren't ridiculously bad, but for some reason I got so upset over the stupidest thing. Like the dust storm dirtying my car I cleaned hours before. Crying over a damn commercial on TV. Cussing out a squirrel I almost hit (he deserved this TBH).

Teaching: yes. Looking forward to it.

Ello again!

PMS on steroids was exactly it.

And no, it wouldn't cross my mind that you are bipolar. My sister is, so I recognize it a little better than people who are not acquainted with the problem.

I can relate to the highs and lows...sometimes I feel both morose and buoyant at once, oddly enough, which can make me come across as split in half. But I actually like my emotional range. The buoyancy I attribute to my Aquarius Mercury. Air is wonderful that way, it helps you "fly" above all that's below.

You and I are both strong in the Cap-Aqua-Pisces area, so I would just expect these similarities. But is your Mercury sextile your moon? I have this mixed blessing of my moon being in the 8H and not aspecting Mercury...so my feelings, wild animals that they can be sometimes, usually stay in their cages, not having so much of a voice outlet.

ETA: Sorry, I forgot that you listed your placements above! See, told you I have senior moments.

quote:
The thing is I never got to the 'lets get married point.' Funny thing is most people my age are getting married and it is the furthest thing on my mind. Everyone is worried about the fact I am not married except for me!

That's great. I have a 4H NN and was doomed from the start...'was always "the marrying kind."

quote:
ITA

I'm kind of a luddite, don't text or even talk on my cell phone, 'just save it for emergencies. So I didn't know what this meant. Serendipitously I came across a text dictionary yesterday so I looked it up. And thanks, that's good to know that you totally agree! (If that's what you meant!) I'm so dumb about these things.

Anyway, the best anagram I found in that book was something like

IGOAPCTYHAWKYB

Translated: I'm getting on a plane, coming to your house and will kick your butt.

quote:
The thing is I want to start shifting towards a raw vegan diet, but I don't think I can do it until my candida is cleared up.

Raw diets have cured everything from diabetes to brain tumors, and I trust they can take out candida.

I have a book, Ayurvedic Cooking for Westerners. Its main healing objective the elimination of candida through a sattvic diet (which I just mentioned in Sweet Peas...been thinking about this a lot lately.) And raw fruit is sattvic, so it has the potential to be therapeutic, if used carefully.

The 80-10-10 people (fruitarians) mostly say that it's crucial to NOT eat fruit along with fat...keep them separate...because fat keeps the sugar in the bloodstream longer, and that's where the candida risks come up. Fructose by itself clears out continually as its used up as the primary energy source. That's their belief, and judging by their YouTube videos, it seems many of them have successfully attained health even with this "radical" diet (80% fruit, 10% vegetables, 10% nuts and seeds.) Fully Raw Kristina has been my role model and inspiration, when I've done fruitarian stints. I love her energy.

But...overall, I am willing to take those gambles with my own life without wanting to play physician to anyone else. Just sharing things I've come across on my vegan learning curve.

quote:
I really don't notice my Uranus in 1st/12th TBH, probably because it is on the cusp. That has got to be the worst planet to have in 12th.

Aw! So you're an Aqua with Uranus on the ASC, that's cool. I will research 12H Uranus later...ITA, that sounds like a doozey.

quote:
I have to be careful with my emotions, so I like to meditate as much as possible to keep my emotions at a neutral state if you get what I mean.

You have no idea how much I get that. I keep my mind and emotions very dissipated, loose, and blank...that's my most common state of being.

quote:
Things weren't ridiculously bad, but for some reason I got so upset over the stupidest thing. Like the dust storm dirtying my car I cleaned hours before. Crying over a damn commercial on TV.

Yeah, I am still falling down, down, down occasionally through the day...but on the full moon it was non-stop bottom-dwelling and some outbreaks of sudden crying about minor things.

quote:
Cussing out a squirrel I almost hit (he deserved this TBH).

=) You are so funny!

Yeah well squirrels are little maniacs, I never could trust them. Seems they are always stockpiling nuts just to use as ammo to drop on people's heads...I put nothing past them.

Nope, my Merc doesn't aspect Moon at all. TBH, I'm not sure I would want that. I think having Moon in 8th is punishment enough- you don't need it hitting your Mercury! I like that it hits my Jupiter and Pluto heheheh.
That's great. I have a 4H NN and was doomed from the start...'was always "the marrying kind."

I see your 4H NN and raise you one Aries IC! Whats funny is that my family life is really good, don't have issues with my parents or siblings. It does, however, reflect my need (or view) that making a family isn't a high priority and that I need a lot of independence and control over my future home. What aspects does your NN have? I know I discussed mine a little earlier, but I'm lucky in that it is all trines and sextiles except for the Moon conjunction.

Is THIS what society has come to now???? We can't just tell people we are going on a plane, to your house and will kick your butt? Clearly this is such a common thing to say, why would you need an acronym?

Honestly thats the first time I've ever seen that and thats not what I thought it meant. I first looked at it and got "I got a pretty hawk.." and thats where I stopped. Couldn't think of anything for the YB.

[QUOTE}The 80-10-10 people (fruitarians) mostly say that it's crucial to NOT eat fruit along with fat...keep them separate...because fat keeps the sugar in the bloodstream longer, and that's where the candida risks come up. Fructose by itself clears out continually as its used up as the primary energy source
Thats interesting. I've heard that too. My concern was in my readings about candida you need to eliminate sugar period along with antifungals to kill the yeasties. So its more of the fat that is causing candida than sugar? So if people consume too much fat that is the key issue?

quote:
Aw! So you're an Aqua with Uranus on the ASC, that's cool. I will research 12H Uranus later...ITA, that sounds like a doozey.

TBH, I really don't understand Uranus in 12th since the descriptions don't fit me well. This convinces me Uranus is more of a 1st house planet in my chart.

quote:
You have no idea how much I get that. I keep my mind and emotions very dissipated, loose, and blank...that's my most common state of being

The one thing I don't like about Pisces Moon. That and the fact we were getting dragged in Astro 2.0 last week because apparently we are all too sensitive and cheaters.

quote:
Yeah, I am still falling down, down, down occasionally through the day...but on the full moon it was non-stop bottom-dwelling and some outbreaks of sudden crying about minor things.

Aww..hope you are doing a little better though! Tomorrow I have Venus conjunct Chiron (6th house...@&%*!!!!) so that will be an interesting transit.

quote:
Yeah well squirrels are little maniacs, I never could trust them. Seems they are always stockpiling nuts just to use as ammo to drop on people's heads...I put nothing past them.

Cheeks of lies (...or is that the Kardashians? :laughing !!!! I'm telling you having a sweet, innocent face allows you to get away with so much stuff. Like my parent's dog, she is a major attention seeker but you can't stay mad at her too long because she is just too cute.

What kind of six degrees of separation is this!?!?!? So is my sister.

I meet so many women with bipolar sisters, it's got me wondering if just having a sister is a risk factor for becoming bipolar.

quote:
I see your 4H NN and raise you one Aries IC! Whats funny is that my family life is really good, don't have issues with my parents or siblings. It does, however, reflect my need (or view) that making a family isn't a high priority and that I need a lot of independence and control over my future home.

Astrology is super accurate, it leaves me dumbfounded, even after all these (three) years.

Still, I don't know if my IC is in late Libra or early Scorpio. If Libra, possibly conjunct my dad's sun. If Scorpio, it's conjunct my Uranus...readings for IC conjunct Uranus DO fit for me, so I'm leaning towards that.

quote:
What aspects does your NN have? I know I discussed mine a little earlier, but I'm lucky in that it is all trines and sextiles except for the Moon conjunction.

NN 20 Scorpio
Sun 15 Cap
Moon 18 Pisces

^Fortunately. Also...

Mars 16 Gemini
Jupiter 16 Aries

So my SN is near my Mars-Jupiter MP. My husband's SN is exactly on said MP.

And my NN is widely conjunct Kaali. I think it's almost 3 degrees orb, but I sorta keep Kaali in my peripheral vision since I've had some weird happenings with electricity and want an astrological reason for it. I also would love to have a lightning bolt emoticon handy if Randall is reading this and feeling generous. Just a simple

would be great, and it could be "my" emoticon.

*daydreaming*

LOL...don't you know? It's "I got a pretty hawk, you betcha."

Yes and no? I think candida is caused by too much sugar in combination with too much fat, too many processed foods, and not enough elimination. Fruit sugar by itself, eaten before a meal and not afterwards, in a healthy system, wouldn't cause a candida problem. It's when you add fruit to a hard-to-digest meal sitting in a run-down digestive tract, day after day, that it becomes part of the reason for candida.

But I don't know anything for sure except that I trust fresh food and know that processed food is detrimental.

Another book I've been considering lately is Rainbow Green Live Food Cuisine. The author, Gabriel Cousens (sp?) argues that a totally sugar-free, raw vegan diet can cure all kinds of health problems. That would HAVE to put a dent in candida... but seriously? I need to get some joy out of eating, and the thought of having non-stop vegetables for months is depressing.

Every spring I do some sort of cleanse; maybe next year I will try that one. It's something that I think I would have to build up to gradually.

By the way, a bit late, I posted the recipe to the raw salad I practically live off of:

Diced Salad

In case you're interested in how I make time for preparing a raw diet.

How'd it go?

Thank heavens for astrology or I would be blaming myself for all kinds of things that are actually just planetary mischief affecting everyone. Do you read any daily horoscopes? I always check cafeastrology's...they are usually quite accurate for my everyday ups and downs.

Thats it- I am ONLY having boys! lol. Someone should do an astrological study and see how true this is.

Yeah, I don't know shite about asteroids either. I really need to invest time into that. I vote for that lightning bolt, would be cool to have some new emoticons added in. Theres some cool ones out there I want to use, but then that means I have to upload them to photobucket, paste the link here, etc. Ain't nobody got time for that!

On that note, the Cap thread is bringing out the in me. So many haters, where is the love for the
We (I consider myself an honorary member of the family) are not all users, cold, and manipulative.

Also, why haven't I discovered this gem before:
Lawd, it is schizophrenia personified lolol. Going to make this my trademark icon from now on: everyone will love me!!!!!!

Agree on the above. Its tough though since many people say to eliminate candida you need to axe sugar period, which is what I'm unsure about. Yeah, I mean I love veggies as much as the next person, but you aren't going to take away the gluten free cookies! All things in moderation are okay.

I'm going to do one starting in a few days. Been feeling sluggish and tired so I have to stop putting the cleanse off and just do it!

Honestly? Nothing. I really didn't feel the transit at all. I don't use cafeastrology because their sun signs never worked for me. I think if I read Cap since my ASC is Cap it might be more accurate for me. I like GroupoVenus since you have multiple interps of a transit on the side and is free. I'm sure astrodienst's is good but my petty, cheap arse isn't going to pay for it!

I will say though their psychological personality and year transit report was scary accurate for me!

Hey you both! Bella especially - I see we 're born in the same year!! And you're a Cappy Rising, even - my favourite Ascendant! Faith, your chart ruler's in Cap, same vibe ^^ don't worry, I would never leave you out.

But I do want to say something on that thread that now got closed. *sigh* I really wanted to say something on it but it got out of hand again and there you go. Well... I think people were too hard on VM. Obviously that's all too late now, but what exactly did she say before a couple of people there got angry? She called us boring and stuck-up... I don't know, I tried to talk more politely and give her an opening (but as usual I'm waaay too subtle about that).

The way some reacted really shocked me. I had expected better, honestly. I'm shocked too that aside from Firepal, nobody said this. Yeah, VM's reaction was awful and showed her negative attitude as well - what she said definitely crossed the line and broke the board rules. It's fair the thread was locked. But she did get quite some flack herself, just for complaining about Cappies. And I'm not just saying that, I have a Cap Moon, Saturn conjunct it and on the IC, Saturn tightly square my Ascendant and trine Mars... and yet I wasn't that offended. Maybe because I've seen these complaints before. I don't know. I just got the sense she's had some really bad experiences with some Caps and complained about them when she got the chance. So many other members have done this, so I just can't really feel offended.

I don't mean to take any shots at you both here (Faith, you get what I mean, right?), this just bothered me. It could've been a good discussion if VM had been ignored or talked to more calmly at first.

Sorry, I've been wanting to say hi here and I guess here's a weird way in. I think you guys handled it best from the number of people who attacked her. And you two are the Cappies that were complained about.

I'm thinking of talking to Randall about this, to be honest. It really doesn't sit well with me. I don't know, I just don't like seeing someone get flack from a whole group, making it hard for them to defend themselves. Even if they may have given it an opening by complaining like that.

If either of you would like to continue this in private, of course you can. Faith, you know my email and I can give it to you, Bella, if you'd like. If you feel like I'm polluting your thread, feel free to say so and I'd be happy to take it to email. And then I'll edit this all out for you guys of course.

Just... yeah. It really bothered me. What do you guys think?
