This is very fascinating and I wasnt aware there was a technique to it. I recently tried meditating but it was hard to stop all the noises and just be inside my head. Do I need to master that skill before attemping an OBE? I feel like that would be helpful...IP: Logged |

This is truly amazing. I replied on that other thread, as well as sent you an email. I have yet to have an OBE although, and Ami I would like your take on this as well, I tried to last night and almost did. It was so strange. I can't really explain it....it was almost as if I was about to leave my body but it woke me up and I was just barely above my body. It's like I forgot I was trying to have an OBE. I became startled because I was stuck. I tried with all my might to move or to speak. This has happened to me before as I was waking up but it never happened to this extent. I actually screamed a couple times but the scream.was only in my head cause my bf never woke up. I heard, loud and clear, just by the chair in our room, a man say hello to me but then I fell back asleep (thankfully). I'm not sure who it was. My first instinct was maybe it wad my boss who passed away last year because it sounded like him and I dreamed of him a couple days ago. But I'm not sure.IP: Logged |

Lexxie, I don't know if you saw my other post (which I can't recall now where it was posted) but I have set up a Reiki grid for you. How it works is that every time you need healing, healing energy is there for you. That could also be part of the healing energy you felt.
That is not "personalized" because Reiki is not my energy so my name was not involved. Just my take care and hope you're feeling better,

No, that does not freak me out. You are what you are and I admire your self-acceptance it is truly amazing. You are beautiful inside and out. Despite everything, you have beauty and I hope you are able to see that. You have stunning eyes, but in them I can sense your pain. And that's interesting. Maybe it was you. It was about 2-3am my time because I napped from 4pm-11pm LOL so didn't go back to sleep until 2am. Did you experience any odd happenings early this morning? It is now 7:21 PM here in Northeast OHIO/USA.

I was still quite ill and in much pain, but,
oddly, was able to sleep longer than an hour at a time.
An exceptionally rare thing for me what with pain and my abnormal sleep patterns due to a form of narcolepsy and too rapid REM state, which happens within seconds of falling asleep instead of the 90 minutes average normal.
So yes,
the healing energy has helped me get much needed real sleep!

I don't broadcast it when I send out Reiki. Reiki is humble and it's wise; it only goes where it is truly needed. I trust it completely. No need for me to interfere in any way. My intention to heal is what directs the energy to you. And I do wish for you to be healthy and painfree.

I cannot seem to have one. Like I said in previous post, I tried but I became terrified and was just "stuck" but I heard someones voice.

I don't think it could have been you. This voice frightened me and felt unfamiliar. The sound of the voice sounded familiar, like my boss'. But I know deep down it wasn't someone I knew. Hmm who know, maybe I just lost it there for a second!  I wasn't sure what was going on. Maybe just a very lucid dream?

Ok, guys, I had this very weird "vision" for lack of better word the other day. It was very late (after midnight local) and it was very quiet. I was reading and drifted off briefly (or so it felt). I woke up feeling that a strange creature was looking at me smiling through the window. It was pitch black outside and the window was shut but the curtains apart and the light was on in my room so you look inside from outside but I couldn't see anything other than darkness from inside the room. The "creature" (man or woman couldn't tell but for sure it was human - like a young man in his late 20s or so) had a mischievous smile on their face and had a green-yellow-red hat on. I used to wear hats like these (I am a bit picky with my hats and love to wear different sorts and colors). S/he was approaching my window from the left side of the road so I got up to go and look but there was nobody there. It was so real I was sure I'd see this man/woman staring at me. I felt they had a message for me, something to tell me, but once I got up and approached the window, they were gone. It was too dark to see anything and I just shut the blinds and went to bed. What gives? I certainly don't have such visions often, so it was a bit weird but it was too vivid to ignore.
