when people has neptune mars aspect natally, even if easy aspect, there is a conflict between the need to assert and go for what you want and the need to merge and feel that what you want is what the other want. there is always confusion about what you want because you sort of mimetize other people wishes. however, at the unconscious level, anger start building up because mars needs are not meet by being democratic and nice. mars wants what he wants and wants it now. when angers build up but it is unconscious (as neptune put a fog on the desires and you never know why you are not meeting your needs, you dont even can discern between your wants and those of others)then mars-neptune tend to be passive agresive and you know what happen when your mars is not fulfilled and it is frustrated but tamed by neptune niceties.. then you find your mars outside as a monster kicking you. it is your buildup of anger that atracted the mars from outside. that is why mars-neptune are so prone to be victim of violence. my ex with mars-neptune square natally had a bad experience with his ex-wife. she was the violent and during my time with him, when we had a conflict, i felt like killing him. with my ex-husband i never felt like the desire to kill, but with this guy.. oh lord, if i have had a gun i would have used it. see? i am the same person, my exhusband never trigger desire for violence from me. this guy trigger that. he was so passive aggresive and that triggered lot of anger in me, his ex wife and who knows who else.. This is truly activated if they have an afflicted Neptune or Mars.In Natal Chart, for women I have noticed Neptune square Mars suffer sexual abuse, date rape or attempted, ect. If that Neptune person in synastry (male) has Neptune square Moon or some weird Neptune affliction while the female has a strong Neptune/weak Mars you can bet this is going to happen. My personal experience too, because I have a strong Neptune/weak Mars and experienced this synastry with someone.
Of course this is just testing from the small collective data I did, I haven't done it for 100 people yet obviously lol but so far all my guesses (natally or synastry) has been right with this aspect (combined with the right ones of course)
I am impress Karka this sounds like a well thought out hypothesis, love it. Also I imagine the abuse would involve altered states and drugs often. IP: Logged |

I have mars conjunct neptune nataly. So, I have it with all close to my age. With the guy I had an affair with for 6 years ( I am not sure it's over yet ) we have moon square & opposite neptune dw and we have mars conjunct neptune. I am Mars he is Neptune. No rape, no sexual abuse... but our sex has no limits. we can do whatever we want with eachother hardcore included but no physical violence.. IP: Logged |

I have been trying to figure out how this aspect operates in my synastry, and I think I just got it.I have a MARS conj. NEPTUNE sq. MOON. I am Neptune and Moon. My partner and I make music together, so basically, we take a loose, undefined, abstract concept, and make it solid, defined and physical. For the most part, I am the writer, I am also the singer. He is the guitarist.
So, I get the idea, arrange it, write it, and he physically expresses it. I think my MOON plays a part, as I write what I feel, I write about what is real in life, I do not write pretty sometimes. Funnily enough, I write often about deception, betrayal, and suffering - sounds like my natal MOON sq. NEPTUNE, partner's MARS conjuncts NEPTUNE, and so is a channel for these experiences when I give him a song. Someone, I think Leeloo said something about channeling into the physical - I think that is what we do with this aspect, using music - also very Neptunian, really. IP: Logged | |
