MysticScorpio, just scroll through the strings here in Linda's Life. There are several about her birthchart...though no one is completely certain.

The first Linda book that read was Sun Signs and that was long ago and far away. But I was awe struck even then at her ability to "know" me. I felt so very close to her from the very beginning. I think Love Signs is the most in-depth astrological book on relationships that I've read. I don't know if I can choose between Star Signs and Gooberz....I've read them both again and again and use them like reference books....but, I do have two copies of Star Signs...One at my bedside and one downstairs...so maybe it wins... I first came across a hard-backed copy of 'Star Signs' in my local town library. I'd been interested in astrology for a whilst, but this was obviously more in-depth. It seemed oddly-written - i'd flicked through to the Lexigrams chapter - and i sat down for a whilst to read some of the text.Although i'd re-shelved the book and didn't borrow it, it's memory stayed with me, sot that when i happened across a copy in a fascinating but sadly long-gone occult bookshop in town, with its heady smell of incense and the warm smell of old books, i bought it in curiosity and fascination. That bookshop was like a sanctury from the mad world outside. i wish i could magic it back into existence. My copy of Star Signs is falling apart. After reading about it in 'Star Signs', i wondered whether Gooberz had been published at all. I found a hardbacked copy in a bookshop in Adelaide, Australia, halfway around the world from my home, quite by accident. Sadly, i didn't have the fifty Aussie dollars of the cover price, so it stayed in the shop. I found i had a strange reluctance to buy it. So, although i've enjoyed the snippets in 'Star Signs', i just haven't gone out to actively buy Gooberz - yet. It won't mirror MY life - i'm male and live in England and other stuff i'm not willing to discuss here make my life very different from Linda's - although i'm sure it will be a good read. Eventually! I bought 'Sun Signs' last summer, and have read some parts relevent to myself, friends, family etc. It does seem rather accurate, and i think it makes an excellent 'dip-in' reference book. I love the prologue too. ------------------ "Sentiment breeds weakness. Let it get a hold of you and you are dead." - Kerr Avon, 'Terminal - Blake's 7'. IP: Logged |

Welcome Liquid_Language!!! It's not so much that Gooberz Mirrors one's life...It becomes personal somehow to everyone who reads it...not sure how or why. It will find you when it's time for you to read it....just seems to happen that way. IP: Logged |

I'm a guy, and it mirrors my Life in many ways. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." Definitely the Star Signs book was my absolute favorite. I think I've read that one backwards and forwards a zillion times! I just loved the way she talked about her spiritual journeys and the people that she met along the way. The ghost stories intrigued me to no end, the story of Nikola Tesla in her house gave me the chills and other ghostly experiences that she had that reminded me of my own. I've read Love Signs and of course the Astrology book and reading them I just feel a kinship with her. Although I never had a chance to meet her, I feel that through her books I have.IP: Logged |

I got Star signs first, actually before when I was a kiddo, I used to just believe that astrology was those popular horoscopes and thought it was crap, but one day, I don't know why, when I was 12, I felt the need to go online and just read more about my sun sign. And I came to know much more about astrology, and I really found it interesting, then I bought Linda Goodmans book "Star signs", I thought it would be of Astrology, but it was of so mucch more, neverthelesss, it was a beautiful book and really inspired me, I used to read it when I was frustrated with school, or when mom screamed at me (well for loud music) or when I was really sad, and it used to make me feel great. And then I got sun signs and Love signs both, I loved sun signs and love signs. Love signs especially, because it talked about relationships and how each sun sign is different and unique in thier own way. So right now Love signs is my favorite book , and I lend it to everyone, and I always carry it to school and well read it, during break time, I have managed to get loads of students interested in it. I am currently searching for Gooberz and Relationship Signs. You can find relationship signs here, but you don't get Gooberz here and I want to read that book really badly, but mom doesn't even let me buy it on the internet, but well, I will wait for that book, I have heard that its one of the most special books of Linda Goodman and its written in poetry, how wonderful!!!! Ook sorry for rambling so much, I am such a talkative person Love ya all, Sonia------------------ Life, n.: A whim of several billion cells to be you for a while. IP: Logged |

The first book that I read was Sun Signs and I was amazed how accurate she was in defining me (Gemini). After that when I went to look for more of her books, I found Love Signs and Star Signs, so picked up Star Signs. It has had an everlasting impact on my life and changed my whole being. I haven't yet found Gooberz, but I hope that Gooberz will itself find me soon!IP: Logged |

The first I read was Sun Signs, it was actually the first astrology book I ever read. I loved her wit and the traits were right on. I got Love Signs not too long later, but just recently have started to read it cover to cover, I am in a intermission to re-read Gooberz, I am on page 94. I love all her books, but the most life changing for me was and is Star Sign. My mom got it for me the Christmas of 1987. I still have the original copy, and it is falling apart, almost too bad to read anymore. I just hate to get a new one!! When I do, I want a hardback again. I have bought many people this book! Hey Randall, is it somewhere in this thread where your journey began?IP: Logged |

My true journey did not begin until I read Star Signs and then Gooberz. I did not fully understand and appreciate Linda Goodman until then. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." Hello Cappyme, Just a thought but if you'd like I can try and look for it here in New York? Years back I had seen it in a couple of bookstores and I'm sure if I looked hard enough I could locate it for you?IP: Logged |

I think this is the first time I've posted in the Linda's Life Forum. I first found this website earlier this year when I suddenly became interested in Linda's life and fate. At that time this was the only section I was interested in reading. But I had nothing to contribute, so I didn't officially register until after I discovered the Astrology Forum and realized I had a thousand questions!I found "Star Signs" at the library in 1997 or 98. I was 16. Looking at the cover and the flap, it promised to reveal so many things, and I thought, there's no way. I thought I would surely be disappointed. But I took the book home anyway and started reading it through. I started taking it to school with me every day and telling my friends about it. I took notes on it that I still look at from time to time. There are phrases that still ring in my mind. "All learning is only remembering..." I became vegetarian more or less in accordance with the plan laid out in the book. What I read in "Star Signs" changed the way I think & live in other fundamental ways, and these changes seem so much a part of me now that it's hard to imagine it all came from this one quirky book I read a few years ago. I now have "Gooberz" from the library. I've read a few random sections, but I'm having trouble getting into it. I've read some sections on "Sun Signs" online, too. IP: Logged |

You can only read Gooberz randomnly once you have read it in its entirety. To get into it, you have to start from the beginning. By the second or third Canto, you will be hooked. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things."
