I like the way she tackles the difficulties of each combination. She makes it clear that any couple can work out. Yes! I really, truly think that happened! You see, I think it left under the arm of my sister in law when she moved. chandra unregistered	posted August 04, 2001 11:02 PM Well, the first book of Linda's that I read was "Sun Signs". As luck would have it, it was in the library of the vocational school I attended. I was just a young girl (16 or 17). I remember sitting in the library reading the Libran section and thinking "WOW, this is me. How did she know that I had a lollypop face!" I read the Capricorn section next, and then other signs of people in my life and I was amazed. From reading "Star Signs" I realized what I had always suspected, ASTROLOGY IS TRUE. Linda had given me absolute proof. The book that influenced me most was "STAR SIGNS". I love this book so much. It has helped me alot. Especially Linda's clarification of numerology. The Lexigrams also amazed me. I did them occasionally back then. I have been doing them alot lately (because of seeing YIVY's and the other LEXI'S on this web sight), and they have opened up a whole new world to me. They have also helped me to become more poetic (which will help since I'm taking a poetry class next semister). Before I saw YIVY's LEXI's I didn't realize so much could be done with a lexigram. It was one of the most mystical experiences of my life. Since reading Gooberz and all of her books, more and more mystical things have happened. She introduced light back into my life. Inspiration. Marielle unregistered	posted August 23, 2001 07:38 AM My first book was sun signs way back when, in fact it was my mother's book when I was in school. Then she got Love Signs when I was in High school, I definetly got a lot of use out of that one!!!!!! I, too am on my third copy, but I don't lose mine, I give them away to friends that really need it. I read Gooberz when it first came out, and I cried all the way through, of course I was 8 months pregnant, so that could have something to do with it. I just re-read it again, like a month ago (woke up in the middle of the night wondering..."hey, I bet there is a Linda Goodman website...Hello!") and I was not quite as disturbed as before, but I do have alot of questions... Any way, sorry to ramble, my fave of all time is definetly Star Signs. It helped me to get through the worst time of my life, and it for sure changed my life in many ways. sf unregistered	posted December 22, 2001 02:54 PM Well, I remember it very well. My mom was doing some spring cleaning, and came across a copy of Linda Goodman's Sun Signs. I just ate it up. It was the first REAL astrology book I had been able to find, and I had looked. It seems I innately knew upon coming into this life that astrology was true and sought it out, at I don't remember what age.Anyway I had just turned 12 when I happened upon that book, or rather it found me! Needless to say I felt an immediate connection to her but could not explain it until many years had passed.I would like to divulge more of the real interesting part of this story but I don't feel it's quite the right time. Everytime I try to read it I get sidetracked for a while. I've never been able to read it all the way through. which is really weird since I usually finish books. I think that maybe my brain just can't accept all the info that is given and it needs rest. Anyhow I found my copy today and I'm getting started very soon.Tootle! love,missy IP: Logged
Miracle unregistered	posted March 10, 2002 07:07 AM I first came across Linda Goodman's first book and guys it was a slipping-of-the-time-track copy of "Suncani znaci" - "Sun signs" in Croatian!!! That particular copy was a paperback, lent to me by a friend, which had been read by so many s-ELVES before me that poor pages were struggling to hold together! I remember being so gobsmacked by the book that I mended and glued back the torn pages and broken covers! Later on I read SUN SIGNS in English (I must admit croatian translation was extremely good), followed by VENUS TRINES AT MIDNIGHT , STAR SIGNS , LOVE SIGNS and GOOBERZ Although I equally LOVE all Linda's books, my favourite is Gooberz. Did Linda somewhere mention how all truly great things are "hiding" in simplicity? I have never come across such a book as Gooberz, and I actually cannot stop reading it. Gooberz doesn't have beginning or end for me, when I reach page 1081 i continue with page 1 and I have done that three or four times so far... it's absolutely DIVINE!!! Oh, and last Christmas I bought 23 STAR SIGNS from amazon.co.uk and all my friends got the same present!!! LOVE, Miracle IP: Logged
