BiBi DeAngelo shares Facts on book “Linda Goodman’s Relationships Signs”

I’ve been privately emailed and asked to shed some light on the facts regarding if Linda Goodman did in fact write most of the content of “Linda Goodman’s Relationship Signs,” printed in 1998/99. Yes, Linda did write most of the content. I believe the reason a lot of people find it difficult to believe that this book was written by Linda was that this book wasn’t as flowing, nor did it have the same ring/rhythm of her very unique style (as I’m sure most of you will agree).

Now, the reason behind the format and style not being reflective of Linda’s prior writing style is that this project wasn’t initially written to be a book! This project was initially written to be compiled into a software program:
(1) that the brief paragraphs you see from pages 56 to page 200, are in fact brief paragraphs that were to compile themselves into a report when people would “phone in”, and desire a report on their compatibilities,
(2) that they had hired a computer programmer to place these brief paragraphs within the software for every conceivable combination for aspecting planets; therefore, when a certain aspect appeared, the software would then automatically search for the paragraph that explained that particularly aspect, and that paragraph would be added to the final report,
(3) that the tables of the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune & Pluto (pages 250 to 435) were also part of the programming so when certain aspects occurred between two charts the computer software could trigger the appropriate information and mathematical equations.

If you look at page xvii in the book you’ll see where it is explained that the goal was to create a “software”. Philip di Franco was very much involved in assisting this project, and he was the “friend of Linda’s” that introduced Crystal Bush to Jim McLin (Linda’s Manager). I just got off the phone with Philip, and confirmed that fact today! If you’re asking why Philip’s name wasn’t put in?? I don’t have an answer to that question!

I spent 12 and 10 hour days observing Linda grueling with putting her vast amount of insight and wisdom into paragraphs that could only be a certain word count. This structured way of writing wasn’t her style; however, it was demanded for the creation of the software.

Philip di Franco, Crystal Bush and I gathered at Crystal’s Penthouse in Santa Monica on Fathers Day of 1995 to shoot the footage for Linda’s National TV Commercial. I appeared in this commercial, as well as Larry King, Jeff Stearn, and others. This infomercial ran on TV from coast-to-coast only a few weeks after Linda passed on. (I know because friends and clients called me at home, and told me they had seen me in the commercial). This commercial was to motivate clients to phone in and provide their birth dates, and then those birth dates would compile a report. (Very much like the book walks the reader through the reader worksheets found in the book.) Many ask why Linda didn’t personally appear in her own commercial. Linda had her leg amputated to her knee, and had put on considerable weight (approximately 70-80 pounds). She had also cut her hair so short that she didn’t resemble any of the photo’s that appeared on the covers of her books. Also, Linda just didn’t have the energy to travel, and some days to even have a phone conversation (remember she passed away only a few months latter). Therefore, I supplied Crystal Bush, with a photo of Linda, which Linda herself had given me prior, for the commercial shoot.

Some time elapsed after the National TV commercial was aired, and the next thing I know a decision was made to turn all the information made for the software program into a book. Philip di Franco called me and informed me that the software project had been put into a book, and sure enough it was! (If your asking why I didn’t write and work on the book …I was pretty busy… here is a list of the movies or TV Series I was assisting on behind the scenes: (1) Virtuosity 1995, (2) Mortal Kombat 1995, (3) Under Siege 2: Dark Territory 1995, (4) Nash Bridges 1996, (5) Glimmer Man 1996, (6) Multiplicity 1996, (7) Executive Decision 1996, (8) Fire down Below 1997, and (9) Introducing Dorothy Dandridge 1999.)

Update:
Since writing this I have done an interview with Philip di Franco and posted it on my website, as well as, up on You Tube - here it is: http://youtube.com/watch?v=POI66CW4vrw

MORE THREADS REGARDING LINDA GOODMAN ON THIS PART OF THE SITE:

1. Thread entitled: Anyone heard of BiBi DeAngelo? Linda Goodman's birth chart is provided -- Linda provided this chart to BiBi personally. NOTE: Linda-Goodman.com was the FIRST site that BiBi posted Linda's chart on... it was then carried to other sites on the internet. Hope that clears up the confusion to the questions about where Linda's chart was posted first. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000322.html

2. Thread entitled: BiBi DeAngelo share photo of Sally - Linda Goodman's daughter (Photo Linda Goodman provided personally to BiBi) The photo of Sally was first posted on Linda-Goodman.com and then copied and pasted on other internet sites. Again, hope that clears up the confusion as to where the photo first appeared. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000326.html

3. BiBi DeAngelo shares facts on Hazelwood (This information was first presented on Linda-Goodman.com and afterward copied and posted on other sites on the internet.) http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000325.html

For years I have been wondering about the change in flow of this book. I really hated to believe that it may not be Linda's work. This idea sickened me to the very core. I do feel much relief hearing these words you share with us today.
It's also interesting to recognize that Linda was moving right along with the times with a software format in which to use as a tool. (who knows, at somepoint we may have been able to purchase this on a disk) This.. in my book, is a wonderful surprise to hear.

BiBi, I'm especially greatful that you've posted this information, Thank you

Linda must have had a broken heart. I know I eat food for comfort, as a sort of substitute for love. Linda knew these things weren't good for her. Something tells me that this is why she ate the wrong things that led to her being ill. Well, that's one theory anyway.

So that explains it! Thanks again, BiBi. You are so full of knowledge about things we have discussed here before and had to settle for wondering about. This is really wonderful news, all things considered, because Relationship Signs is a book that I've turned to numerous times. I did have the nagging this-doesn't-sound-like-Linda suspicion so thank you for easing that burden for future references. You really are a long awaited gift to us Linda fans.

YFIS -- you're right purchasing the disk. I highly suggested to go with a book and disk package... interesting you say that.

Listens To Trees: yes, Linda loved to eat the sweet things. I believe a guest on the Oprah show called it a Party in your Mouth??!!

Eleanore: Happy the information brings you understanding...

The 3 of you aren't the only one's I've heard this from (including the person requesting insight and understanding initially for this topic thread). Almost everyone I spoke to had to QUESTION if this was truly Linda. So, you all have a lot of company on this front.

It brings me joy to provide you all the Sally Photo, Linda's birth chart, information on the projects we both played and created on (I don't want to say work... because when you find your PASSION.. it's not work.. it's creating!!!)...

have a blessed day you all,
BiBi

Just had a thought and don't have much time, atm to follow it through but ...

Anyone remember a while back about the open house sale at Linda's old house? The Victorian one? I remember there was a thread about it here somewhere.

BiBi, I'm not sure who had the lithograph or for how long, but I do remember that this sale had some personal effects of Linda's for sale, too.

Oh, if anyone knows what I'm talking about, please bump the thread if you find it. I'll be back tonight to run a search myself.

Okay, I shouldn't have but did.

Here are a few threads that mention an estate sale though I don't believe I've found the one I originally thought of.

Okay, I don't think I've stumbled onto the one I was thinking about ... but I did come across the general idea.
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000076.html
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000294.html

Bearing Small Gifts was the username of the person who I recalled referring to a sale at Linda's old house. The threads show that she did purchase some things there, including a tape with Linda speaking on it. I'm not sure what all she bought. The threads have more information than I could hazard at.

Again, I really don't know if the lithograph would've still been in the house at that point. But if it might've been, I think "Maria Barron, Mary Barron, WriteOn, administrator of ConsciousEvolution.com, and on this site, Bearing Small Gifts" (from the first link above) would be one person who might have an idea about it.

She bought Linda's desk, and the tape was in the drawer. I have guessed that the male's voice on the tape was her son Michael. Perhaps, Thorshammer could ask him.

Ooh, Randall! <waves across cyberspace>

I was thinking since Maria had actually been to the sale that she might have a recollection of some sort regarding a lithograph or anything similar. I know in one of the threads some books about Lincoln are mentioned. Or maybe contacting the person who was in charge of the sale? Though I really have no clue as to who might have had the lithograph at any point in time. This would be a fairly fruitless endeavor if the lithograph has been in the family's keeping until just recently.

Just wanted to share... Philip di Franco was the person who introduced Crystal to Linda...
and he was also the person who was instrumental in getting the software program done for the initial launching of the relationship project.
When that project didn't produce the expected results that when the software project rolled over to the book... Philip di Franco wasn't mentioned in the relationship book (per someone's private email question)... he should have been mentioned!

Update: Philip speaking on the above...
