What YIVY said!

A star at dawn, a bubble in a stream;
A flash of lightning in a summer cloud,
A flickering lamp, a phantom, and a dream." The Buddha

Randall... Sahana has not posted on this thread that I can see (where ARE those glasses!) but you've addressed two posts to her. Have you been into the party favors again?

YIVY~ Yeow! oh man... You've given me something to ponder ... not so much what you just said, and not that I've *imagined* it that way ... but uh... it's like you confirmed what I reMember, or kNow ... ya know?

Randall~ I started posting here right after returning from visiting my sons in May. I feel SO much new awareness in me I feel like I should be glowing... in the natal chart interp. you did for me, you said my kids would respond to my druidy-spirally-spirit with "That's just the way my Mom is." I hope when I see them tomorrow they don't say something like, "Are you really MY Mom?" Wait... that's what Stace said at the airport last time! and I said it about him too! ... we *didn't* recognize each other! hmmmmmm....

Hey Princess Randall is definitely not into party system.
Even I was a bit surprised to find my name in this thread.
Immortality must be surely a very lonely path to follow. But if one can achieve it, then it would be simply wonderful.
Randall how do I know whether I am an immortal or not?

I wonder if when we struggle with age, we exhaust ourselves?
Like me some days I still look like a teenager, but I'm exhausted. My brother is 29 and still look like a teeny. Some people look older but have a lot of energy...

I've seen that same thing....very interesting.
I'm just begining to walk the path of immorality.Meaning I'm on the first step.I gave up beef and pork9 months ago, and fast 1 day a week.Pork and beef was easy...it always made me sick anyway. I couldn't eat ANY meat as a child...couldn't keep it down. I do the spiral thing every morning, but "feel" like I should be doing more.My boyfriend and I are doing this together !!!
I've worked in a retirement community for 20 years(I've left many times...but something always "forces" me back)...That's where I need to be. And it hasn't taken me long to figure out why either.I'm there to "SHOW" THEM.i DO GET A KICK OUT OF THE LOOKS ON THEIR FACES WHEN THEY SAY THINGS LIKE " yA CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU" and my answere is " then I'm not going" And "don't get old" I hear thate one 100 times a day.I just say "I don't have any entention to !!)They just look at me...makes me laugh. I am convienced though I do have immortal that come in and out of my shop.
One couple "clain" to be in there 70"s ...They look about 45ish...and they just built a cabin up north,by hand, them selves.!!!! I know that will be their "hidding" place when it's time.
When I bought my shop I was 24, and evryone thought I was 34...now I'm 37, and they think I'm 25.
Those that are still working, I do encourage them not to stop.I tell them how unhealthy it is.A few of them have felt bad because as I say "they flunked retierment". couldn't stand it and went back to work!!!!
I'm glad I found this sight...because as you can tell...I have a long way to go,and need help and hints!!! But I am enjoying it for the most part...and I try to stay away from negative things and people.(cancer rising) I feel I must,I absorb too much.I can be around a negative person for a hour and have to sleep for 4 !!! One fhone call from my mom and I'm in bed for the rest of the day !!!

Oh MistyDawn,
I don't know how mothers do that to us.
All I know is that they do it!

Misty...what a wonderful mission your s-elf chose to show those delightful 'old-timers' how they can once again be delightful 'NOW-timers'...and maybe a few will take notice and change their futures. Or at the very least, they will decide on immortality their next time around.

Paula...how very sad, but true about Mothers. As a mother I found that once I let my kids live their own lives, mistakes and all...without trying to advise or 'help' them, we became friends. Sure, if they need help and ask, I'm here, but I try not to point out the mistakes they are making. I was a mother until they left home....then I think you should be a friend.

Of course....that means not worrying them about calling or using the 'guilt' thing...(and yes it is hard at times and I do slip), but to let them live their lives. After all it is 'their' life..not mine.

MistyDawn~ What kind of shop do you have?

About *mothers* ... I am one, and I too have learned to let my kids *live their own life* (what a ReLief!) but on the flip side of that thought, it would be so Grand if our kids remembered to remember, or acknowledge Mom as the Goddess she IS! (on a regular basis ) What about THAT PART ! huh?

Just wanted my vote cast for "If Linda wrote it, you can count on it." She's the only person i can think of whose ideas i have that much faith in. But what can i say? She's never let me down yet!

I've been digging through the site lately and found this topic useful. It's been awhile since I read star Signs and don't even remember the immortality chapter mcuh. Brings back memories. I tired finding that You Don't have to Die book but it seems to be out of print. Anyone have a copy? I'd like to know more about spiritual protection too. Sure wish the seaerch feature worked ... I guess that means more digging!
