Okay, I am "spiraling" back to you and I apologize for not checking in sooner. The only reason I said not more than an hour is so as not to discourage busy people who do not have hours and hours to spend in the gym. I think that giving it your all in one hour is something that almost everyone can do.

So we all know what we can do to reverse some body conditions that resulted from environmental damage and neglect. But take photoaging, how does that get reversed, or the cells regenerated...

I agree heartily with Randall who said it more than once: One simply knows.

Sir Randall, what is your chronological age and what age do people mistake you for?

I never reveal my age. I use to get carded all the time when I bought lottery tickets (have to be 18), but I don't have that problem ever since I grew a goatee.

About the sun, we all need sunlight for optimal health. Everyone should get an hour or so of direct sunlight per day. Of course, too much sun can make the skin leathery (although it can regenerate in time), but there is absolutely no real evidence linking the sun with skin cancer. In fact, the sunscreen companies funded research that were a bit shocking. The results showed that those who used sunscreen had a much higher rate of skin cancer.

Randall, do you think that the cause of that might be the chemicals in the sunscreen?

I use spf 15 everyday because I like the pale look (screen name is snow white for a reason, I have black hair and white skin and a propensity for red lipstick LOL) and because I don't want to have leathery skin. I was a real heavy duty sunbather as a teen and into my early 20's...

am rambling but I am very interested to hear more about the sun/skin cancer factor as you have mentioned.

In my mind, if it were the chemicals, there would be warnings all over the bottle along the lines of, "The chemical X used in this product has been known to cause skin cancer in lab tests; if you are elderly, a child or pregnant ... blah blah blah."

If we accept that we require direct sun light for our optimum health, its possible the escalated skin cancer is caused not from the chemicals but from the obstruction of sunglight.

Regarding sunscreen
Anything could be true. Do you know that in the 50's the American Medical Association promoted the smoking of cigarettes and said it was totally fine to smoke. You can't always trust things. Where there is cash, their could be greed, and we are finding so much more out these days. Aspartame is something else I don't trust.

Not sure why--just reporting the results of the study.

Hi Everyone
I've read this book by Ruth Montogmery "Born To Heal", about this man
with 'extraordinary' powers for healing, and he mentions in the book that the Sun is necesarry for our health, however, only when we are fully clothed. Otherwise it drains you out of energy and that's one of the reasons why some people get headaches after sunbathing. He sais if the Sun can pull the waters from lakes and the sea, imagine what it can do to our body. I think that this makes sense, and the most important reason why we need the Sun is to activate the Third Eye.In Homeopathy, the first thing they recommend for people with depression, is to go out every morning and look at the Sun for a couple of minutes to activate the Pineal.

African-Americans in Africa spend 10+ hours a day in the Sun and have virtually no skin cancer, while it's common among African-Americans in the US and other countries (where we get little direct sunlight. Or so I recently heard.

I also know that sunlight activates the pineal and pituitary glands, so we should all get direct sunlight on our face every day.

I have been doing the reverse spiral exercises since 1988 when I first read Star Signs. I wish I had a scanner so I could post of picture of mysELF. I look like my daughters' sister, not their mom(hee hee)....My older girls are 29, 24 and 22. In addition to the exercises it is very important to take Grape Seed extract and Grape Skin extract. I know Linda recommended drinking grape juice, I did that but found I had much more powerful results with the extracts.

I would like to offer some agreeing and contrasting views...

On Sunlight: I completely avoid direct sunlight on my skin. On rare occasions I will be exposed to sunlight filtered through a window or car window, but only for short periods of time. I stay indoors during the day, even sleep during the day, and tend to only go out after sundown. Sunlight actually makes me sick. Looking at sunlight (not directly at the sun, but at anything sunlit) makes my eyes burn painfully for days, and feeling sun on my skin, even through a window, makes me feel very uncomfortable. What not many people seem to know is that there are some good frequencies of UV radiation and some bad. The good ones have been found to increase cell growth, the bad have a lethal-toxic effect on cells. Our ozone layer, when it was healthy, filtered out the bad UV. But these days, with so much pollution, the ozone is thin and does a bad job of filtering the bad UV. People will burn faster in this century than in previous centuries, and be more prone to getting skin cancer. Solar radiation penetrates the layers of the skin and can cause genetic damage leading to aging. If you ever had a sunburn, then you are 100% guaranteed of having had genetic damage from sunlight. Another interesting point to note is that my sensitivity to sunlight only started after I began being immortal. (Draw your own conclusions)

On knowing versus exercises: I totally agree with Randall. Knowing is the end product, the goal of doing exercises.

On how to visualize: I used to try to visualize for every cell in my body, but soon became overwhelmed by the sheer number of cells. Right now what I do is imagine a vortex or funnel of spiral energy, like a twister or tornado, guiding all my cells into the spin I want. Faster spiraling makes the process go faster, I think. Really I think it is quite superfluous. What truly matters is that you void your mind of all and any thoughts that you will age or one day die of old age. The intensity of the visualization does not matter I think. Repetition and commitment matters more.

UV wavelengths:

UVA 400 nm - 320 nm
UVB 320 nm - 290 nm
UVC 290 nm - 100 nm

Information: http://sunshine.jpl.nasa.gov/1rst%20Tier/References/VITAL.TECH.UV.html

Supposedly one of these is good for you, according to something I once read and since forgot...either way, my body tells me to avoid sunlight so I do.

Never mind I said anything about some UV being good. I did read that once, and just read it again as I found yet another article to that effect, but I personally do not believe it. There are two camps, one which thinks sunlight is good, one which thinks its bad, and they both have plenty of arguments to support their positions. Instead of pretending to be impartial, I will admit to being biased and in the latter group.

I don't think it's normal to avoid sunlight so much and have it hurt you or your eyes! I think people were intended to get a little every now and then! People get depressed from lack of sunlight that is common knowledge.

I agree with everything you've said on the site thus far, Merc, except the part about sunlight. In excess, it can cause premature aging, but I think most of us need UV radiation to stimulate many different biological processes in the body. But each individual is different. For you, it's best to avoid sunlight. For others, maybe not so. We each have to listen to that still voice within that knows what is best for the us-of-us.

In my past lives I was not present on Earth and the sun is different where I come from. It is whiter, more diffuse (as if there were always a sheet of clouds over the sky), and the rays are different. I think I have never become used to the sun here. When I was a child I was aware of finding something vaguely wrong with the color of the sun, and now I just avoid it. I cannot stand blue skied days (it feels like being microwaved), but love cloudy weather.

Cool! There might also be more refined alien DNA in you (not that there's anything wrong with that). We all have it, but some more than others. Might explain why some of us are allergic to the very harmless pollen on this Planet as well. Maybe we are descendants from a Planet with no flowers?

It's true, but if you ever bump into my son, he would be very likely to tell you (the snitch, hehehe).

But why is that such a mystery?

P.S. When I joined this forum, I asked Randall if he was really 401, and he replied that he never said that. I realised that I have confused him with you, Grasshopper, and I looked up your post in which you say that, so here I wanted to ask you directly about it. But now I'm confused. Were you joking then?

By the way, this is a fascinating and very helpful thread!! Your advice about visualising in the shower really helped me! Thanks!!
