I've been away, cruising da site.
Drinking in the wise words of other users.
Re: kids & images: the images I saw were 2 people kissing and some animated smileys.
Is this thread closed or what?
More important, where is AquaVenus? If you are reading A.V. talaith is asking your question again, in "There are others"

THE

Porn-sensitive teen guardians, there is a word currently in use in Teen Spirit, that U.K. blacks find very offensive. A three letter word, W*G.

That came up in Psychology class, why is it offensive ? Is it because of golliwogs ? No one I know of would use that term, hence my lack of knowledge

I'm just glad to see that there is a site for immortals and am happy to know that there are others walking the path of immortality. It's actually pretty exciting and considering that I had been on the thunderbolt path of accelerated karma, Linda's book Star Signs seemed like a beacon of light. What is shared in it pages seemed familiar in a sense and when I put into practice and experimented with the teachings I was not disappointed. O_o I'm finding that when it comes to experiencing and learning spiritual teachings, one has to be in a certain type of mood to truly get it.

You're not paying attention to the science updates!!!
My Mother found a Doctor in ElPaso Texas 18 years ago that had his own lap, and had created a shot he gave to reverse the aging process. He had it panteded, but the FDA wanted to "steel" it from him, and made it too costly to produce in large/commercial quantities. At this time, he was well in his 80's & looked 50ish! He & his nurse were the only 2 with the recipe. He has since died, and the FDA got his formula & has since marketed it, though Hollywood is the main clients that can now afford it!
4 years ago, I watched a show on the A & E channel that was detailing the anti-aging drug. They reported that within 30 years, with the tecnology people would stop aging. They said within time, walking on the beach looking at couples, you'd have a 30 year old with a 300 year old and never know it!
Scientificly.....our bodies should not be aging anyway! our cells rejuvenate every 24 hours! We have a new body every day! Scientists have never understood why our bodies age in the first place! Because they shouldn't!
Blessings,
MistyDawn

And to add a little bit; Human Growth Hormone (aka HGH) is the stuff that is released in our bodies that pretty much makes us, er, young. When we're adolescents, HGH is released in our bodies via a pituitary gland like crazy. Interestingly, this gland never dies, it just stops. Most anti-aging drugs these days either introduce HGH ... or tickle this gland into releasing more.

Personally, I think that these findings are more valuable as a means to give us the belief in immortality more than the actual drugs themselves.

MistyDawn ... everyday??? No, it's more like every seven or eight years. I think stomach cells may rejuvinate daily, and skin cells every few weeks, but most cells (tissue cells - bone and muscle) take many years to rejuvinate. Growth hormone is only necessary to grow up; once we're there, we don't need it anymore. I don't think it has anything to do with staying young. Growing old is the sum of the symptoms of old age. That's the way it seems to me, anyway. The more symptoms, the older we look and feel. So, it's the symptoms we've got to stop and/or reverse.

Those cells are made up of new molecules every few hours or so. So, we are really just flowing energy. Amazing how the molecules know how to become a human or a house and to differentiate between the two.
