i like that you meditated to bring past life people in. that's such a great idea. think i will do that too. see who comes up. really interesting. actually, you know, i was thinking that most of the people who are into this site would be more open minded than they are. it's quite surprising and a little disappointing actually. but, each to their own. i didn't expect it to be as bitchy as it is - i thought everyone would have respect for the opinions and experiences of others. but so far, it's the most open site - on other sites people are just outright rude. hoping to meet open-minded and like-minded people. and some wise ones.

tell me about draconic astrology? i don't know anything about it.

at first i thought it was a progressive chart - but it seems to be natal from a different degree. is that right? and what's the purpose of it? and are you supposed to compare it to your natal and if so, why? and do the aspects from your natal to draconic reveal things about your spiritual path? and if so - do you know any sites where i can get more information?

nce upon a time..... there were three zodiacs: the Sidereal, the Tropical, and the Draconic. The Sidereal zodiac takes into account the precession of the equinoxes and is the zodiac used by astronomers. If the Tropical planetary positions of another persons chart coincides with a Draconic placement in your chart, this person will in some way teach or challenge you to use the abilities of your Draconic planet in a way that sows seeds for future flowering. The same may be said for transits and progressions to those Draconic degrees. Aspects between charts retain their basic interpretations.

hsc - thanks for that - i wasn't sure how to interpret the crossover aspects - but normal applies. pretty much answers all my questions. oh, and welcome - thanks for joining the conversation.

this is the first time i've ever had anything to do with draconic astrology and it's fascinating. i'm very much into jan spiller's astrology - love her books. and this makes it interesting. i'm going to merge the two sources and see how they fit with me and what i'm currently learning, etc.

brilliant. i'm happiest when i'm learning and this is definitely that and good for me.

what did i learn?
from the draconic chart i found aspects and planet placements that when i read up about them in my usual sources fitted perfectly and answered some very long-term held questions.

right path?
yes, definitely - but like anything it is a guide and a small part of the journey. like i said - it is a turn into another direction - a good one filled with self-discovery and rightness.

this is so very new to me - just this week infact - and i'm very much in the romance period of it - everything i'm reading has that wow factor attached to it. it's just so amazing. i can't get over it. it doesn't negate the tropical and just adds a more relevant dimension for me. i guess it is always there for the discovery, just that you have to be in the right place in yourself to be open and drawn to it. i'm glad that someone else gets it too. it's really amazing - finding missing bits to yourself - or parts you thought were there or wanted to be but just weren't sure if you were seeing it that way because you wanted to or if its indeed real. and it is. really special find.

Hi PA,i was just looking at your Draconic(i'm new to draconics as well)and something really stood out to me.Based on our convo yesterday,i could feel a very strong Pisces sensitivity from you and couldn't understand where that sensitivity came from,well in draconic you have a pisces moon(in AQUAS house as well )
which answers that question quite nicely.Oh,in my draconic chart i have an Aries moon

actually, i must admit, i cheated yesterday while we were talking and brought up our synastry draconic charts at astro.com and noticed we have a whole array of mer, venus and sun conjunctions happening. yes, i am very piscean. in my tropical chart i have pisces north node in 12th house. funny thing - i've always attributed those pisces type characteristics to aquarius. i find aquarians are everything that pisceans are supposed to be by textbook - humane, compassionate, etc - just the kindest people.
