actually, love love love the bath pic's wish bm didn't live so far away, sorry Mark, gotta go to a sausage festival over at BM'S! I'm pretty sure he wouldn't understand. Of course I am kidding...who wouldn't understand your fiance heading over to a sausage festival in Europe! AG - (the new) Bigger tubs sometimes have the faucet in the middle so both can relax and play and have fun. I don't want much, but I want one of those in my next house! Even old grandmothers like me like to take baths for two! Kick its sense of humor....satire, obscure, dry wit....Just my observations....he's the kind to tell a dead pan statement.... walk away, and 5 minutes later, you think, did he just say that? and then get it and laugh....that kind of person can be pretty funny you just have to pay attention to them closely and then you can laugh like hell at thier jokes on time! Sag is next time, Sunshine. I'll put it up when I get the magazine. My brother is the person makes me laugh the most, sharp as a pin, Gemini Sun, and Gemini Mercury Opposite Sag Mars. He does a lot of play on words, but he also does physical humour. Playful, but with edge. My son with Sag Moon is very similar, plays the clown, but sharp with it. And by request, a little something for My Virgo Mask,

I grew up in Tustin, which is in Orange County. I now live in Pleasanton, which is 30 miles east of San Francisco, Oakland; and/or 30 miles north of San Jose. IP: Logged |

Oh okay.. my mom went to high school in San Francisco. I think she said it was Terra Nova High School.. but that may have been Pacifica...dunno. AND... I kind of oops'd that reunion thing.. it will actually be my 20 year reunion... damn I'm getting OLD! But spent most of my time growing up in Southern Cali... the Torrance area. I miss the beach sooooo much. I used to go to the beach after school to do my homework. I'd sit in the sand, do my homework then just lay there and listen to the sounds of the waves.

I think I like you better knowing it's the 20 year reunion. My mom actually went to a Pacifica High School in Southern California. I miss the beach, too, though not as much as I thought I would. Living in the Bay Area it's remarkable how long the drive is to a real beach. IP: Logged |

AG.. Yeah I noticed you were born in 72? I was born in 70.. so I'm about 2 years older then you. Why do you call yourself AcousticGod? I like the name.. but growing up music has been and always will be my first love. As a kid I was always singing. In school I got into every choir that was available to me. I eventually learned to play the trumpet, then the baritone horns. And got into honors band and honors choir. Without music I would wither away and die lol.. well okay maybe a tad dramatic, but kinda true. ------------------ "Secrets and lies can sleep from the walls of Rome if we sit hard enough on them. Sunshine Lion, I think you are needed on the astro-forum with the classic threads, "women who attract lots of male admirers who they are attracted to back". But it will need to be when you are suffering from work boredom, and feeling more patient and tolerant than normal. "I'm not ugly so why can't I attract someone?" is another stunner. Men don't ask women out, apparently? Ask them then, was my answer. That went down like a sh!t balloon.

Perhaps I should make a Know Two Are Alike entry. My name came from the necessity of picking a name really. I didn't anticipate that I'd be using it for years. I've been a musician since Junior High. My parents got a little Casio keyboard, and I hoarded it. I started figuring out New Wave songs. In Junior High I also tried band starting with the Baritone. 8th grade I tried every instrument I could get my hands on. Teacher would have had me conduct our graduation if I'd been there, but we went on vacation instead. I think I must have started piano lessons in Junior High. High school band seemed too uncool to pursue. I ended up taking a year of piano lessons followed by a year off followed by another year of piano. Never enjoyed the stiffness of reading music. Once I was familiar with the music I'd really only use the written music as reference if I needed it. I preferred memorizing my part. My piano teacher was one of the good ones. He taught me the chords as part of my curriculum from the beginning, which afforded me the means of progressing my music-creating knowledge despite not having lessons for that in-between year, as well as for the rest of the time after my piano lessons stopped. At 18 I wanted to learn bass. My mom had a classical guitar she never used, so I pulled it out to teach myself bass, and taught myself guitar as well. Guitar is great and very portable and eventually became my favorite... so now I'm AcousticGod. And to be perfectly honest, I've never ever aspired to being a guitar god, so that part is a bit overblown. I am certainly of above average competence, but big solos turn me off unless it's something like Johnny A or Jesse Cook where they are really instrumentalists (I think guitars are far superior jazz solo instruments than saxs). I guess I'm not a fan of the metal solos or the improvised, sound-like-gibberish solos. IP: Logged |

LOL - I saw that. That's not the first time you've given that kind of reply. It always cracks me up. But I've noticed it's not taken too kindly. No-one wants to hear practical advice. They want to hear that they're not attracting someone because their Mars squares their Saturn, not because they may lack total personality or basic good looks or a smile. I have no respect when astrology is used as a disclaimer for being a total @rse or for asking stupid questions. I figure, if someone can use the excuse that they're a Pisces to tell me how sensitive they are as a pre-empt that they expect me to walk on egg shells for them, I can use the fact that I have five placements in Aries to display some lack of tact. I'm only applying Astrology 101 as equally as anyone else. IP: Logged |

bmSuggestion for title of new thread: "I am ugly, so why don't I attract anyone?". How about: "I'm as ugly as sin, but I'm married with kids. What aspects show that?"? I don't believe astrology provides answers to certain things. IP: Logged |
