Anyway, just finishing off with capricorn. So here's a lil teaser. Hope you all like it. *~*~*~*~*~* SCENE: The girls are at a Turkish themed tea-house in the village. Discussing the numerous quirks and oddities about the men of the sign Capricorn.
CARRIE:
(Voiceover)
Capricorns don’t have lives; they have careers! The main aim of a goat is to climb a mountain. Be it Mount Everest, or the top of the Forbes 500 list, the determined goat plods his ways through the deep crevices and jutting rocks with a single-minded concentrated effort. It is also a well known fact that they are capable to sleep their way to the top, hell, even pull an Anna Nicole if they wanted to. But they’d do it in style, for this is the chicest of all the signs. Well, that is if you consider Kid Rock and Dolly Parton chic. Although they are well versed in literature (usually from cheap paperbacks that they skimmed to “groom” themselves with), Capricorns prefer to recite the tale of how pulled themselves up by their bootstrap (or leather g-string) to the peak of whatever career they currently hold. Of course, the fact that they were in the gutter and are now flipping burgers at Hooters is of no consequence. The pinnacle of a goat’s success is totally subjective to their famously infamous double standards. They maybe as suave as Cary Grant, with the roughish charm of Humphrey Bogart, and their favorite movie would probably be It’s a Wonderful Life. The downer is that the movie’s evil banker, Mr. Potter, is the hero Capricorns are modeled after. Not to mention Montgomery Burns from The Simpsons.

Its ok. Please, don't feel bad. Your previous posts made me laugh. I had a great time reading your Sex in the City Signs creation. A lot of inspiration is needed for this kind of writing and you posted early you are going through a hard time. Its very understandable IP: Logged |
