aw, thanks.

Do you also wear glasses?

It's wierd, because i rarely notice when people wear glasses.. it isn't dominant in a negative way to me, when I see them on others, as I said, I rarely notice them...
But with me?
I feel that it is the first thing people see now. That they will somehow think I am not as nice to look at as I was.
I know it's irrational.... but I also know it is psychological...
I get a lot of those 'sexy librarian' comments.
Plus I wore my hair in a messy bun at work today.. it was sooooooooooooooo hot here.

When I first started wearing glasses each time I always felt like I was losing part of my facial expressions, like my eyebrows were being obscured. I never liked that.

Nice to see you here Cancer.

Dedicated to PixelPixie tonight, because I just heard it in the shower and the beginning is so beautiful. If I could send the actual song I would.

Artist: Coldplay
Album: X&Y
Year: 2005
Title: Fix You

When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
and ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

High up above or down below
when you too in love to let it go
but If you never try you'll never know
Just what your worth

Lights will guide you home
and ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears streaming down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears streaming down your face and I

Tears streaming down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face and I

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Hey, if anyone is curious *enough to open a bumped up thread with my name on it, that is*
I thought I would tastefully and quickly elaborate on the matter that had me so spinny all over ther boards the last few. *actually, just one really bad day in culmination, but quite the lead up.*

My hubby and I had a serious talk.
A serious one. Not even a fight.
I realized how many patterns of behaviour I had, and he had.
Instead of waiting for the shoe to drop, I suspended it in midair. I was ready to sacrifice everything, and I felt a little sad and crazy, though at the same time, relieved that something was being done, and I was going to look for apt.s the next day.
We talked, I re evaluated. ( on a new moon no less) and have had a nice few days with no expectations.
I am at the point where I look in his eyes and see that I love him, instead of looking for a fault so I didn't feel so tortured for having no reason to want to leave.
I am not going to leave.
Until the next time the cycle I constantly have to fight against comes around, that is.
My friend said I make a good partner because I am challenging. Never know what to expect, and therefore interesting times.. very very good ones, and very very um.. not good ones.
I liked his take on it, and after all, I know myself, and I do make a good partner when I don't project and expect things.
When I feel too stifled, I make things more dramatic than they need to be to have an excuse to rebel.
Some might call it passion.. maybe I am normal, I don't know.
I prefer my friend's version of me.
Something worth fighting for when I analyze it for the billionth time. I wonder why he fights for me....(against me) when I don't think I give him much to fight for... Why stay? Why does he want me, when I push him away so much.......
So I am here.
The big blip on the screen.
I am here now.
Here's me.
I am okay.
Thanks for listenigng and thank you for taking the time on various places in my Lindaland home, to show your concern and love and just to make me smile.
You did. Each gesture.
Thank you for making me feel like less of an evil freak.
Relationships are hard.
Even when they don't need to be.

Thanks!
I made it last year, and scanned it for a project I was doing ( etched on glass) but I'd lost in in a computer file, and was purging some the other day when I found it.
Neat. I had forgetten.
I have a few projects in the works right now. My friend gave me an assignment for an original piece of art for his new home.
So needless to say, my creativity for it is nill. I swear, I get something on the horizon and I am completely sappped and think I can't do anything.. deep seated inferiority complex or something.

I have always wanted a sister.. so neat you get one through a different source.
Bed and Breakfast? What a great thing to do. I am not organiized enough that it would be viable for me, but it sounds so hospitable and nice.
I got an email ,,, not recently though??? I responded to the one I got ( I thought...) I'm wingy, sorry.
Thanks for the compliment.
Write me again if you'd like, I'll hopefully get it!
Have a great day!

Hi pixelpixie -

Quess what? We look a lot alike - from your glasses picture, any way. Although I don't wear glasses and I am older - there is a really big resemblance. We have similarly shaped noses, lips, face and eyes. I have hazel eyes and brown/auburn hair. My eyebrows are are thicker. It is weird! I'll try to find a picture of myself and post it. You'll be surpised. You are an aries, right? Interesting.

Oh Key! Isn't that interesting!!!!
To see a mirror of resemblance in someone!
I'd love to see your picture.
http://groups.msn.com/LindalandPhotoShop/pixpixspix.msnw
Here's my album, I've got plenty of shots in there.....

You have Cappy Ascendant, right?
I have Leo ascendant, Saturn on my Ascendant and a Cappy Moon.
I wonder what aspects we have that make it so.. ( or geneology for that matter)
Let me know! We can compare charts!
I love that stuff!

I once worked with a guy who looked alarmingly like me. It was weird. His name was Tony, and he had a completely different personality. People were always getting us confused.

You mean you aren't Tony?
Geez.. I thought..............
j/k

By the way, Key.... I shape my eyebrows. Wax or plucking.. then I still get those unruly curls ( yes, even my eyebrows) which I trim. So Mine are thicker naturally too. ( shhhhhhhhhhhhh)
And as SunScorpion said, I am a Scorpio..
though every word that Aries chicas say seem like my own, anyway. Plus, I tend to have long term relationships with the men. There must be something to that.

So, I figured I'd let y'all know I just picked up some more paint, and a 24 by 30 inch canvas/frame, which I have just gessoed. Now I wait for it to dry and wait for inspiration.
Wish me luck.
You can also wish me lick which is what I originally typed, and corrected.. as I would love both.

Sun Scorp.. got your email.. wanted to let you know
I will respond.. I don't feel like sorting through them, and if I respond to you, which is nice.. I'd have to respond to them all out of a sense of duty.. which is not so nice. Gimme a while. Keep writing though!!!
Also.. the tiger gig is on Saturday!!!! I am sort of excited.. but what do I wear?????
No Tiger stripes or animal prints..
Safari?
Khahi?
Beige, to blend in??
I don't know, I just don't want to look like a zebra.

Hey Pix. I just knew you would be here so I dropped by to say hello. Umm...hello. I'm not around much these days, but no matter what, when I think of your wonderful sense of humour, it makes me smile. Rock on, girl!

You are respected person for me.
That's it. That's what I mean....
So thanks.
