Pixie! You are such a wise, kind chica! Thanks very much for the advice, could you reccomend some book titles that I could tell her about? Or any sites I could print off from? Ooh, and what are LeLeche league meetings? Sounds cool! Sadly she dosnt have her laptop at home, only at work, so she wouldnt be able to recieve emails or email you, but thankyou for the offer anyway. I dont know what the vibe is like at her house... she lives about 20 mins from her Mum, and her Hubbie (and probably friends too who have already had kids) is very supportive. I will tell her what you said, and I agree about not paying attention to all those schedule pushing strict books ect that ignore the individual baby needs. I really hope shes taking it easy and relaxing, as she is quite hyper like me! I think everyone around her will be very protective and caring though. Im not sure if there's a lactation consultant, but it sounds like a great idea and Ill ask her about it! Thanks again for the wisdom hon! I let you know any updates. IP: Logged |

Im not sure what I can do to help my sis, shes my half sister and I dont get to see her that often as she lives quite far away and is usually busy with work. I just dont want to be bossy or anything...!! You know?! Do you have any advice in that respect too? Thanks lovely! IP: Logged |

Oh Sun ScorpDid I have any concerns after our sons birth.......... Well I nearly died and had a NDE and then followed by very bad post natal depression....but I breast fed him for a year and have dedicated most of my time since then on being a mum....so I suppose mine would have been unusual circumstances....what did you want to know, anything in particular? xxx IP: Logged |

Oh Im sorry to hear that It must have been very traumatic for you. Fortunatly my Sis didnt have any complications, and the baby was fine when he first came home, but I think it may be also that her hubby is still working each day, Im not sure if hes doing less, have to ask my Dad. I dont know.. she might feel a little lonely? Im not really sure what to ask you! Only trying to think of ways to help her, although like I said I dont see her often, but we get on very well when I talk on the phone to her. Cant wait to go down and see her do some babysitting lol! It would be cool to be able to reccomend her some of Pixies books, hopefully she can get a hold of them in the UK. Maybe even from the library!? Thanks again Sue! PS I just found what looks like quite an informative web page, wondering if I should print it to show her? I dont know, she may already have info about it.. http://www.parentingweb.com/lounge/supplyissues.htm And Pix, now I know what the LeLeche League is! IP: Logged |

Hi Sun ScorpYou sound very good of heart and kind...am sure whatever you do will be the right thing. I would have given my right arm for a sister like you to offer support.....sadly we had no family around....they were/are in a different country, but if anything it has made us all very close...... My man was/is amazing to me and our son, so supportive, strong and caring......I am very blessed. So all I can say to you girl, is just be yourself and keep up the contact and see her when you can, babysit if you can...maybe give your sis the chance to go out for a while for a massage or to get her hair done...... The main thing is for her to feel loved and supported.....and by the sound of it.....she is.......... God bless Love Sue xxx IP: Logged |

I knew I'd find lots of my favorite scorps here!I was looking over my honey's chart and for the first time realized his rising sign is only one degree saggitarius. The scary part is that the time he gave me was a very generic and unconfirmed 1:30 p.m. So I went to astro.com and played with times and even ten minutes prior puts him at... DUN-DUN-DUNNNNNN... scorpio. The sag stuff always fit, which would make sense because either way his first house is sag. But I've never been able to make any sense of his very driven, stubborn, secretive streak. So I called him and asked if he could verify the info. Sadly I have to wait until at least tomorrow. However! Okay, this boy has no astrological knowledge. I didn't tell him what sign it might be. I only told him that a different time would make a difference. Know what he did?! COMPLETELY CLOSED UP! He said that it shouldn't matter if it makes a difference and he's not sure if he wants to tell me if the time is any different. This does not sound very saggi to me!!! So now I'm a sag on a quest... it don't get no gooder than this-- new info to scope out, new truths to find. If it were any other sign I would have been mildly interested. But this has got me reeling! Just between us... scorpios scare me a little! the men anyway. I'll keep you guys posted. This is entirely new territory for me... *edit* this also puts jupiter in his 7th. That's me! I'm Jupiter! (My best Joey Tribbiani impersonation.)

Lol! My bro is a Scorp rising.. he CANT STAND astrology!! He almost literally puts his hands over his ears and starts humming if I tell him anything about his chart... just does not wanna know!! Another thing, my friends bf is an Aries and when she asked if I could do a compat. chart on asto.com for her, he wasnt keen to say his time as he worried that if the chart said they wouldn't be a good match she would break up with him!! Lol!! Maybe thats why your guy is shy too!? IP: Logged |

No, no, no, Pix. I just ain't rockin' right now. We should talk. Devoted? Virgo sun and Scorp rising-- you betcha! (to use one of his favorite get-under-my-skin catch phrases). The prob? There seems to be no way under the freakin sun to get to this guy. *sighing with you* Oh! Here my little pixie friend... ...this is for you! IP: Logged |

Pix,I just read your reading in the oracle thread. It inspired me to go get my own. Also very interesting. I'm guessing your first path is the path you're on now and the second is the alternate route? If I'm not mistaken, this has been troubling you for quite a while. I hope you find the light at the end of your tunnel soon. I think you have my email address. Feel free if ever you'd like! IP: Logged |

Hey Pixie you know what? Ive decided not to give her any advice. Im thinking after talking to my Dad that it wouldn't be a good idea.. so dont worry about the books ect... (PS, know you're busy right now too, so deeply appreciate the kind offer.) Im just going to ask her if she'de like me to print anything off the net for her, that way its her decision ect. Thankyou guys for being so helpful! *edit** (Lol! Its the 14th here right now!!) IP: Logged |
