Well, dear... you are often a woman after my own heart. If you don't mind, I'd like to chat with you about something kind of personal, but general. Something I think you might have some good insights on.

Maybe we can do the messenger thing sometime, or perhaps email.

Let me know if you're groovy with this.

to ya!

****misspelling in your name... of all things! thought i caught it before it posted, but i was wrong. you can delete this one if you want to.****

*I actually already hate them
Only because I have to wear them.
I apparently have something called
'neo-vascularization'
Which means my eyes are growing veins toward the iris,
in order to oxygenate them, because the contacts
I wore for years weren't the right kind, and I 'choked' my eyes.
What did I know.........
So even though I have a high oxygen exchange rate
with the ones I generally wear now,( they are approved for 24hr wear,
though I take them out daily)
I thought they were safe, alas, my eyes are getting worse.
Prescription's about the same though, YAY!
er.. no yay.
So here I am forced to wear something.
I'd rather have options, anything else makes me stifled.
But I must accept it.

I am a little sad.
I am still wearing my contacts to go out though.
But daily stuff, I'll be bespectacled.

I know what you mean. I wear contacts and glasses as well. Both are bothersome, but glasses can be more so with their getting dirty, fogging up, getting rained on, etc.

Blah...

Awww Pix!! You look beaaauuutiful!!
Those glasses totally suit you! Loving the tortoishell frame too!
Im sorry about your eyes (hope they can get better..?)
I remember reading somewhere about being in smokey bars with little fresh air resticts oxygen to your eyes which is why they often have red veins during and after being there. Interesting stuff really.
But I am sad for you
By the way darling, GORGEOUS lipgloss!! Seriously juicy smackers!!
Lots of love

PS, Where T F has the other PP thread gone??? I dont think there were that many posts??!!

PSS, Me and Cappy cous had a FAB day, brought lots of lush clothes and little jewellery things at groovy townmarket, now settling down to eat yummy roast and watch Anger Managment.. Jack Nickolson & Adam Sandler!! Looks funny!!

Hey Sunscorp!!!!
I loved that movie, especially the 'road trip song'.. you'll know what I mean when you get there.
*foreshadow*
I must rent that again!
Yes, the idea is that the eyes will get better. But I have to let them.
*sigh*
I love lipgloss, I have this thing with my lips, they always have to be moist.. I can't do those drying lipsticks.. I'd rather reapply.
The market thing sounds like my cup of tea I love that stuff!!!!!
Thanks for the compliment. Yes, I like tortoiseshell. I also like that they match my hair. I went with more oval ones, I figured I'd do more the cats eye, but they're a hybrid.

AG Thanks for the sympathy. It does suck.. I fel like I have more a deficiency. but that may be just my Saturn in Leo in the first house and Cappy Moon talking.
EVERYONE knows I have bad vision! The horror!!!!

If they are digital they come up huge! The pics I've scanned don't look as big.

You can always put them at our photoshop and link them, if the photoblog doesn't work.
Can't wait to see you!

*Singing w/ Puerto Rico accent...*
"I feel preetyyyyyy
Oh, so preeetyyyyyy
I feel preettyyyyyy and wittyyyyy and briiiight!
And I piityyy
Any giirrl who isn't mee tonight!!!!

I feel charminnnnng,
Oh, so charminnnnng
It's alarming how charming I feeeeeel!
And so prettyyyyyy
That I hardly can believe I'm reeal!!!"

That was so hilarious!!!
We were literally stunned at how high Adams voice could go!!! ROFL!!
Adored him in 'Wedding Singer too! V angry again and funny. And have you watched 'Waterboy'? That film was sooo funny and cute! I remember the first AS film I watched.. and I just didnt get it! My brother was cracking up laughing and I just thought Adam wasnt funny at all!! Now Im all like "Ooh I love Adam Sandler movies!"

Oh yes, our market is really good!! Has so many unusual, unique clothes, eccentric friendly people, lovely jewellery...!! I got a really nice bluey-green Tourmaline silver ring for 6 pounds, a medallion style dark brown necklace with sparkly orange and red stones and a cool dark chain (would have been 8 but I got it for 5.40! Love haggling!!) a really pretty green amber heart neckalace for only 8 too, also a funky black thin scarf with green, pink and yellow stars and suns, and lastly a nice pencil patternd top and dark turquoise wrap dress for only 7 pounds! Cool hey! I think you'de love our market!!

Yeah, I cant stand dry lipsticks!! Yeuch! I hate the dry, cracks and everything that those lippies do! I like the smelly Juicy Lancome stuff, but its pretty sticky and I cant help licking it off!!
I usually just use a really nice moist, hemp lip balm, organic too!! (Seriously!! Everything here is organic!!)

How are you btw? Everything good?
Hope ur well.

oh wow!

I love them all! Top is so funky! And the jewellery!!!!
*wolf whistles*

*How'd you get them so small? Mine are always big when I publish them here!!!

I love love love the medalion, reminds me of something I have....

I'd love to check out markets for some vintage finds.. sometimes I even dream about doing that! I dig those dreams.

Not much going on, sung with the band at a backyard baseball party yesterday.. tons of people ( big backyard) my daughter was able to come.. she swam all day then when we went on, she danced in front of the stage.. I loved it, our biggest fan!
(my son was untimely, at his dads, I would've loved for him to come too, alas...)
Today I have a baby shower and then work until midnight. Fun fun fun. Then work again tomorrow.
and on and on.

Thanks for sharing your treasures!!!

Woo!! Thats sounds like a cool day!!
Thats so cute about your little girl!!
Me and my Mum just watched Findng Neverland together...
SUCH a brilliant film!! We cried from like half way onwards!!!
So gorgeously filmed and Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet and the little kid Peter were all fantastic in it!! It was really good, and I was happy my mum loved it as often she hates films!! (Complete opposite from me!) But this one she loved!
I really liked all the fantasy parts in it too.
Have u watched it? I really reccomend it!

Pics are small cos I dont have a digital camera, but my Uncle gave me his old web cam which is ok in bright light, but pretty grainy, and it has either a small/medium size or a small size which is clearer! Thats why their small!! Im hoping to maybe get a camera for my B*day though.. It would be cool to have a decent one.
Hmm, not sure if you can change the size or something of your photos? Does your camera or photobucket have that option?

Hey dosn't the medallion remind you of cartoon imaged of the sun!!

Lolol, I love dreaming about finding gorgeous things!! Once when I was little I had a dream about getting (for free!) a massive collection of beautiful shoes in my real-life wardrobe.. then when I woke up I rushed to my wardrobe to see if they were there cos it was soo realistic!!! LOL!
(And I was so dissapointed!!!)

( Sorry its in 2 parts.. my computer page goes blank and dosnt post if its too long!!)

Do you have any funky jewellery? (Bet you do!)
Im obssessed with stones and what they can be used for, like did you know that aparantly amber absorbes damp moisture from your skin so if you get sweaty hands or something, wearing an amber ring helps! (And have you ever seen amber with an insect in it!! So cool!!!)- http://www.bereczki-baja.sulinet.hu/auro/fotoj/gintaras.GIF

I love moonstone too, and labradorite is really gorgeous! Also once had a rock aparantly from a meteorite called Moldavite, which is very powerful, can aparantly give you hot fushes or headaches (I never got that tho!) and is used when you need to transform or change something!
Weirdly I got it the day my life really changed significantly!

And then I lost it whilst walking almost exactly a year later!! Its like I 'didnt need it' anymore or something!! Weird hey.
It was unusual looking, like a dark green wine gum, someone said it looked like coal!!!
Yummy!!!!
http://www.meteorman.org/Moldavite-Museum.htm

Oh, and I found a pic for you!!

I picked up Anger Management tonight.
I had to.
I loved finding neverland. I really loved it.
Thanks for that pic, it is beautiful!
I'll write more later, I'm bushed, I have two more days in a row of work ( I usually work nights, but they have me on three day shifts, and my body is used to functioning late at night, instead of early in the morning. So I have to retrain myself.
Feweling better about the glasses..
Almost everyone who comments on them ( unprompted, I might add) call me 'sophisticated' ... I can be sophisticated!!! (Until I start using naughty words....)
Oh, and I was called, by my flirty male friend~ 'A thinking man's crumpet.'. He is my favourite complimenter... comes up with some great ones. Like, really creative and funny. Sagittarius, so it always feels sincere.. even when he says 'you looked better yesterday.
So I am feeling okay about the whole glasses thing. Such a fragile thing, my ego. I should just kick it to the curb.

Wicked!!! Its a hilarious film!!
Glad you liked the pic!
I just passed my Drivers theory test, Im very happy!!! I was nervous but I actually found it pretty easy, I fortunatly got the quite a few of the Q's I had revised which never happens!!!
Now to take the practical *gulp* not for about 10 or less lessons though. Its going well!

Sorry about the working, I know what you mean about being used to functioning late at night!!!
I can hardly do anything early morning... once I was so tired that when the phone rang about 7AM I just stumbled out of bed, grabbed the reciever and dumped it down again to stop the noise!! Like an alarm clock... I wasnt even aware of what I was doing!!! Just went straight back to sleep!
It turned out to be my brothers school to see why he was late going on this early morning trip he had forgotten to tell my Mum about!! They were like 'WTF was that about??!!'

Thats great about the glasses!! They just probably takes a while to get used to. I agree.. V sophisticated and intelligant lookin!

That comment's so cute from your Saggy friend!! "Pixel Pixie; The Thinking Man's Crumpet!"
Maybe you should get a sticker or something.... like this perhaps to express your naughty side..

Heheheheee!!! *Evil giggles*
Darn that fragile ego... kick it ta tha cizzay girl!!!!
