Hehee no! (I wish lol! Although there is a cute Bull...ahem..anyway) My big Sis has just given birth to a beautiful baby boy!!!
Hes ssoooooo gorgeous!! Held him in my arms earlier today, they had just come out of hospital, knackered but glowing!! Hes just the cutest, sleepiest little angel Ive ever seen!!!
His eyes were mostly shut but occasionaly would open and squint up at me, the colour was a strange deep grey/green/brown colour!!
When he yawns his mouth opens so big you think hes going to start screaming but then breath a sigh of relief whe it turns into a yawn!!!

Born August and hes a- Virgo sun, Gemini Moon, Leo Asc!!! [i]
Oh! Just realised your B*days the 28th and you have a Leo asc!!!
Anyways, Ill hopefully go and spend more time down there in a week or two when she has more energy.

How are you at the moment then!? Hope your very well! Hows the family?
Lots of love to you Pix!

Hi sweetstuff.. I really like what you wrote over in that controvercial thread... I have stepped back, as I feel by MY contributing, nothing will happen, just recycling. I am done, unless needed.
(nice ego on me, right? .)
But everything you've written has been clear, concise and poignant.
Good on you!

Well.. My dad came for a spontaneous visit.. he called just before I was due for work on Thursday, and was coming the next morning.. he stayed for two days and then visited my brother.
It is amazing to me how very alike we are.
I don't know if its genetics or it's that we are both Scorpio.... It is wierd.
Relating to him is a pleasure.. I am happy to know him.. it is good to like your father as a person, instead of as a father.
You know?
My hubby went to a baseball game with his father this weekend, and my son is staying with his father this weekend ( Thursday 'til monday) So it's been a weekend for fathers somehow.
Great time.
I have completed two large art projects, both of which are opening doors for me, and this is finally coming out for me in a real way.. I have always been an artist, now I am a working artist. There is a difference, and it feels really good to be absorbed into something so completing to my soul.
Really really good.
Thanks for asking.

What's new in your world??????

Sounds like good stuff. I'd like to be a working artist. I'd also like a dad of my own sign. What a treasure that would be.

That controversial thread seems to have stopped communication from everyone. That's the other reason I'm there besides Sue's feelings. I want LL back to normal, and I don't feel terribly patient about it. I like this to be a fun place, and I like to see my friends writing even if it's not to me. The tough thing right this moment is that it's the weekend, and this place does tend to slow down during the weekend, so I can't really guage who's being silent and who is just not online.

I appreciate the kind words on my writing, especially coming from you. I mean, I don't have the task of being poetic over there or anything, but you are great poetically. If I could write as well as you I'd definitely be a singer.

Over there it's just about making the argument. Someone's got to do it, and I know you scorps want to take a break from the situation altogether. I just have to hope I come across as having enough logic and sense to get people to see what's gone on.

I read those pages you referenced today, and that was something else -her saying that you were drinking. Presumptuous people drive me nuts. There is absolutely no way you can read the things she wrote and not be struck by her hypocrisy and self-righteousness. Of course, the bit she wrote about Peter Pan and Captain Hook also didn't speak of any wisdom for me.

Anyway, I just wanted to give you a place to write in case you felt like being quiet. I see that you've written elsewhere tonight as well, so that's cool too.

HAve a great day!

Hi pixie (and AG too) ~

I do so admire you, Mama Lion that you are! And I really appreciate the calm words of wisdom and quotes that you came up with, AG. I read that thread and my stomach is still churning. Wish sometimes that I had BOTH of your ways with words.....

Just wanted to thank both of you (and fayte and sue and the others too) for defending those of us who apparently refuse to WAKE UP.
Yaaayyyy for Pixie!

Wow! Thanks for the kind words 'Zala.

I believe everyone affected deserves defending. I saw where many had tried to work things out over and over again, and I realized that you all are tired of dealing with it.

I am very glad about the words you had for Sue today. Very cool.

Me too!
Thanks for the praise, Zala- babe, I know I have felt that way about the things you have said too.... like.. Hey!! That was good! I wish I had such a way with words!
Maybe the word druids take turns bestowing wisdom to each of us and we share it at different times!
Like the Borg, only better.

Yes, Ag is a rocker with the clear wisdom too.

Thanks to you both for the words involved in this mess and the praise after it.

Bites Magus

then kisses it to make it better.

Careful! Aquarius is my descendant.
It's okay, I don't like boys who don't like me.
Just so happens I pretty much like everyone.
Pretty much.

Would you judge a book by its cover?
The content is good, I swear.
You know, some parts.
It's okay, I won't hold it against you. Just because I dated an Aquarius who was unfeeling , egotistical and rude doesn't mean they all are.
Just you and him.

*bites again*
kisses

hahhaha

Maybe I deserved a bite.

Thats just my wierd way with peaple I end up realy taking a liking too.. I pulled the same sh!$ when I got to know her,,, actualy I was perhaps a little worse to her at first. I dont know why Im like that.

Oh Im very sure the books content is top pick and prime.

Maybe just my defense mechanism to try and keep my self from having more peaple I care about in my life... Doesnt work that well though.

Bonjour Pixiluscious!!
I saw someone in town today who was tall and had similar hair to you!! I was thinking "Hey there Pix!!" Lol!! Face was completley different though!

Well, I would love to be involved in work which includes artistic, creative things.. as I love that stuff!! Ive considered fashion buying, I dont know that much about it, will have to look into it, but an ex girlfriend of my Uncles brought clothes ect for her shop and really enjoyed it... and my Mum mentioned it too me.
I also love makeup, transforming things and people.. but the makeup artist biz looks quite hard and competetive, but it still seems fun! I wouldnt be good at doing wounds or anything like that though.

Hmmm choices ey!! At the moment Im doing two courses I really like-Arts- words, poems and music, and Society- mix of sociology and history, I really like this one as it can lead on to taking a Psychology degree/diploma/certificate ect!!
Which I would love being facinated with that stuff!! mAstrology to me is similar, describing peoples minds and tendancies through aspects and planets. Love it!

Chat soon!

(Oh PS, I will probably take my prac driving test in less than two month... GULP!!!) *Fingers tightly crossed..*

Hi Dolly girl face!!!!

Yes, I have actually had a week filled with headaches. I have been really busy, and not sleeping well ( as usual) and so it takes its toll. ven right now I have a lowgrade headache.
Lots of internal changes this week too, and we'll see where they go.
I had two band practices ( yesterday night and just now) and they were excellent. We introduced a keyboard player, and wow does it ever fill out the sound! So I am excited. PLus, it's good to sing.. I had taken a hiatus, as I have been too busy to practice. We don't play until next month ( three dates) One for charity.

I haven't really seen any new movies lately..... I wish I had a reccomendation for you.
Glad to hear tyour headache's better.
And by the way, I'd compliment you anytime, sunshine!

Sorry to hear about the nasty headaches... dont know if your interested but my acupuncturist (fab therapy btw!) reccomended lying flat on your back and getting someone to hold your head (making sure to hold all the weight) and find the two roundish bump parts of your head (just above the back of your neck and a couple of inches behind the ears) around where the hairline starts.. and start rubbing up underneath them lightly.. they should feel a bit sore; when I do it the worse the headache the more sick rubbing them makes me feel!!

You can kinda do it your self but its more effective if someone else does it. (Plus u can lie back and relax!!)
I find after feeling worse from pushing them the headache fades away!
Keeping a still head helps to, and rotating it gently in circles occasionally!!

Im sure you probably know some of these but personally I like getting knowledge on helpful tips to feel better!!

Lots of love, hope it goes away, good luck with the sleeping too.

* Watched a cool docu about that actually; try not watching TV, drinking any caffeine, being on the computer before you go to bed as they all stimulate the brain alot making it harder to sleep afterwards. Also, drink as much water as you can make your self drink!!
Hope that helps!

As an avid breastfeeder.. be careful with the negative thinking around her.
Of course, the first impulse is to blame the mother on not producing enough milk, thereby increasing the cycle of negativity. And doubt.
Is there a lactation consultant around her?
It is stressful... tell her "eff the schedules".. let the baby feed as much as he wants, regardless of what modern medicine says.. babies are not medicine, and mommies need to relax as much as they can after the birth, to recover in a lot of ways.. therefore, nature designed the interaction via breastfeeding to be a long process.
She might feel like a cow as they establish a routine that works for them.. but ultimately, the breast is designed for this.
Let it work.
I am the eternal optimist... and I realize sometimes there is a real problem, but more often than not, it is interference by well intentioned folks that deter the breastfeeding relationship.
If you'd like, I can establish an interaction with her via email.. I have reference books, and a total of over four years experience, and LeLeche league meetings.
She can do it.

Oh, and HELLO!!!!!

and sorry about the content AG, you can handle it, big guy.
