I think he will definitely hear you out, and it will get him thinking about it & what happened. However, I think internally a part of him will continue to hold on to the hurt, The devil is a card of people being binded or attached to the negatives, they have the ability to let go yet feel powerless and feel like they cant at the moment. In the end though, I think he will be cool about it, on the outside would feel calm but again its more internally and in his subconscious mind where the hurt will be stocked in.

ok I pulled some weird cards here.
I might be wrong but I see that it's someone you've already been/ or currently involved with. Not an easy relationship with delays and heartbreak (this could be a misunderstanding as well). Very karmic relationship.
He is a kind man though with gentle feelings - water aspects?

Yes, most certainly! Wow, what cards! 2 of cups and lovers; true mutual love knocking at your door.
However before this can happen it seems you have to leave something behind, either a current or past love interest or a certain mindset. or if you are in a relationship, it could mean either that this relationship will end before you get the marriage proposal (of someone else) or that something within the relationship has to be resolved and the relationship itself has to evolve further.

But whatever the last 2 cards are simply breathtakingly beautiful and loving.
