I astral project and I always have fun doing it. No scary demons or anything. Anytime something bothers me I simply leave. But my husband, who doesn't like me doing that kind of stuff now has me spooked about possession.
I'm not sure I think it can happen. I kind of think it can't.(so far my experiences have only been pleasant to amazing)
Does anyone have something to say about whether or not they think it is safe to "leave the body"?

Keep doing whatever you are doing. Unless you have some desire to be possessed, I doubt you can be. ('you', as in good girl, not necessarily anyone)

Have you been possessed yet? Your astral body has safety mechanisms, so don't worry about it.

I read that it's very easy to protect yourself while astral travelling. Since you can do anything you want in the astral realm, you can simply imagine a bubble of protection around you. Also, if you meet any unpleasant entities along the way, you should just return to your physical body right away, and you'll be fine.
But my theory is, if you keep a positive mindset all the way, and a heart full of love, you shouldn't have many (if any) problems.

During the astral projection if something threatens me I pray that God help me and I wake up or am removed from the situation.

I was worried that while I'm "gone" something will take over my body. Or at least that is what my husband tells me I should worry about.

I wouldn't worry about the possession stuff. Your husband sounds like he's scared of it because he's unfamiliar, that's all. Don't let him scare you, you are too lucid, too sane, and too strong-minded to be 'possessed'.

Actually, as soon as your physical body is even near danger of any sort, your astral plunges itself right back automatically. It's your natural safety mechanism. Nothing can possess you unless you consciously want it to.

I can astral project without even trying I am sure that nothing can enter my body while i am gone. or i get thrown back in my body, i hate that feeling when you get thrown back in your body,.
