You know, people who come from inbred bloodlines, like the royal bloodline, have a higher tendency towards disease and lower IQ due to expression of recessive alleles. It's a scientific fact! You just stated that the real reason GW is president is because he is related to royal blood and Al Gore is not. The reason Bush got elected was becasue he won the electoral vote, not because he's related to royal blood. He won because he ran a good campaign, and the American people bought into it. He didn't even win the popular vote in 2000. This shows that more people wanted Gore as president, he won because of the electoral system. In 2004 he won the popular vote, but historically an incumbent war president wins by a much greater margin than he did. Bush was certified as the winner in Florida by a margin of 537 votes in 2000, thereby defeating Gore. 537 votes! In a state where 2 million people voted, 537 is a mere blip, a margin of error! And whatever happened to the "lost" ballots? Thousands of ballots from a predominantly black area in florida? My guess is that most of those were not for good ol' GW! It's sad to see that the electoral process could have been so easily disrupted by corruption. And now we have a president with one of the lowest approval ratings in history, surprise! What about all the other president's who weren't related to royal blood? Were they just flukes? IP: Logged |

something i read about this tendency of GW's to get things like this wrong so often -- it isn't that he isn't smart; he is very smart. it's that he has no emotional comprehension of what it is he's saying regarding these things -- concerns of families for a better quality of life, for better education, better opportunity for those struggling to survive. he simply cannot relate, and has no empathy. thus the words issue forth utterly distorted and jumbled, because he's just a mouthpiece saying what he's been told to say. they have no meaning for him.makes sense.

Hi, I came over here because I needed to see if anyone could remember a quote, political in nature. I was going to start a thread asking jwhop because I figured he knew about history along with politics and would probably be my best bet for getting a quick and accurate response. I saw this jwhop thread and I opened it because I was going to say, "Hey! I was going to start a jwhop thread!" but then I noticed it was started like yesterday or something and with all of these responses... anyway I read the first two pages and the last page.I have to ask,

Ok Naiad, I can only remember a couple of other screennames here with Mystic and I didn't think either of them had something that started with T after... so I wanted to make sure something wasn't going on that I wasn't aware of yet.
I knew I would see political debate if I opened other threads so I didn't... but this one caught me by surprise and was stressful.

wow wow wow, everybody just ripped up AG for mentioning that it was quieter since jwhop was gone... big whoop! he was clearly just stateing a fact. Never did he imply that it was necessarily a bad thing that it was quiter (give the poor dude a break!) . I am new to this forum and dont know the famous jwhop or anyone else here really but from an outsiders point of view i think everyone needs to take a chill pill and stop trying to blow the slightest thing out of proportion..
