I'm not wrong. I'm not mischaracterizing things. Even Lotus says it's "boring".Lotus, you must think pretty highly of yourself if you think you're going to take me down a peg. I guess you could say that YOU have quite an ego. Lalalinda, are you referring to 'class' like deleting posts because they disagree with you? Or 'class' like resurrecting a thread of mine from December solely to goad me?

Invade threads? Isn't that exactly what you do? In the Saturn transits thread where you deleted my post, your initial posting wasn't intended to help the person with the question, but rather to attempt to correct me out of spite. You just resurrected a thread of mine from December just to post something altogether unproductive in any way [once again in spite]. You also attempted to correct me in a Mars thread recently to which I couldn't be bothered answering you back (though others tended to agree with my brief assessment). There hasn't been a single instance of me following you into a thread to dispute what you've said, so I think you're a far worse thread invader than I could ever be. Think about that... and maybe grow up a little.This is about Jwhop. Of course if he's ill or having troubles, then we'd all like to be there for him. However, if I didn't point out that my recent contention was accurate, then this Jwhop downtime would likely be lost on the people who claimed Jwhop wasn't responsible for the atmosphere here. It's just quiet because neither Jwhop nor the ppl who incessantly argue with him are here. Your crusade against him is amusing AG. Why not just let it go. It takes more than one person to creative a divisive environment. There have been plenty of times you've been a part of that problem as well. I think you'd be annoyed if someone put a "gee where are you AG, we care about you" thread, and Jwhop jumped in and said, "See See!!! He's gone and _____________ (whatever)!!!!" like a triumphant child pleased with himself. I mean, is this just about being right? It must be, because if it were about being heard, well I think it should have been clear long ago we all heard you on the subject when we chose to disagree. IP: Logged |

So how would it be possible for someone to claim that I'm solely responsible for this environment in the same way Jwhop is? It's not possible. There's a difference between what him and I post as well as differences in quality and quantity.Is it about being right? Yes, but I already knew I was right. What I'm looking for is an acknowledgment from people like yourself that you are witness to the fact that I'm right. I didn't want this period of time to go unnoticed by you in particular since you disagreed that Jwhop singlehandedly changes the tone of this place. He does. It's obvious and indisputable. Hmmm.... I have to say that I find it odd that even the mere mention of jwhop brings about a debate. Only one person is cheering his absence and getting frustrated over the fact that others are defending jwhop.Sorry AG, but that person it you. Maybe it is not that jwhop is busy polarizing the board, maybe it is people like you that have to counter, angrily and aggressively, anything he posts? It didn't have to bring a debate. I do take responsibility for starting this line of conversation. As I've mentioned, it was important to me that I point out once again the validation of what I said previously. First, there's no 'hatred' here. I like him. I just don't enjoy his politics or how he chooses to interact with people here. Outside of politics I'm certain I would find him at least somewhat enjoyable to hang out with. Secondly, something that can be observed by anyone isn't something that can be called an 'opinion.' If it's readily observable by all, then logically it means it is the truth. That's how truth works. Disagreeing with truth is what is futile. quote:
