Actually, Steve, when all that went down here on every board at LL in Dec. there were not a lot of people involved. There was just Lisa, myself, SueG and DFD. Actually it was just the other two as Lisa and I chose to not say anything. I only posted a couple times during the whole thing and only to point out what I actually said as compared to the lie that was being spread. As I think anyone would do. Actually that whole thing began by DFD and SueG's butting in about something that did not involve them but was between Pidaua and myself. Something that both Pid and I have gotten long past and overcame to be friends. Which is one reason why I against others butting into things that do not concern them instead of letting the people involved work it out themselves. Intelligent and rational people will do that in the end.

Neither Lisa nor I asked for you to defend us nor did we ask anyone else to so. And we got what we didn't ask for. We hoped that others might be moved to, not defend us, but speak out about the injustice and wrong, the issue, not speak out on our behalf. Defending an issue, an injustice or maltreatment of other human beings is not taking sides with anything except the right and wrong of it. Taking sides in that instance is not taking sides with any of the parties involved, but taking sides in favor of wrong or right. You can judge the actions you know without judging the people. You can take sides in favor of what you deem right without taking sides with people.

In this case I am not taking sides against DFD or Fayte but the issues involved. LD and I have kind of worked out an understanding, I think. At this time LD is not bothering me or Lia. But she is still provoking Fayte. Which makes Fayte's speaking out about it understandable to me.

I am discussing an issue of interference here, not taking sides against LD or in favor of Fayte. I feel that by what has been said here to her the burden is once again being put on Fayte while the benefit of the doubt goes to LakeDance. I didn't see any benefit of the doubt here for Fayte at all. It's just as you stated you did in the incident between Adrienne, which is fine with me because it is none of my business (I only used that as a point)just as this between Fayte and DFD is none of your business.

Speaking of assuming, for you to assume that what I said here about interfering is emotionally charged ( unless I misunderstood that ) that would be an inaccurate assumption on your part. Women can post here at LL about things that mean a lot to them without it being emotionally charged just because they are women and not men.

One last correction. I never said that you said "tar and feather Mirandee." That was the tongue in cheek name that I gave my post back in Dec. and that is what I stated in my post here to you - the name of the thread. What I said on that thread is that lets just get it all out here so we can spare the rest of the good people here on the boards of LL. But alas, Sue took the stance of being too good for that ( in her words ) preferring instead the tactic of sniping to honesty when she had the chance. A predictable route too I might add. And yes, that was a dig so now Lotus can come on here and condemn me to hell for being all too human.

The best thing about advice, HSC, especially when it concerns a disagreement between other people, is don't give it unless you are asked for it. Otherwise it only comes off as taking sides by one party or the other and other people as well.

Thank you again and forgive me for not getting deeply into it all at this time.
Your support is very appreciated.
I regret now taking a hiatus while you and Lia were being run through the gauntlet. But as I had just several or less weeks before been ran through one too, would my defending so soon after my ordeal have done either of you any good? Or simply escalated the madness being spewed out upon you two? As you know, I was seriously considering not coming back. But then Ginny got sick. And you and Lia were still being attacked and so was I to my surprise even though I had been away! Then Lotus got falsely blamed for my almost 1/2 year hiatus and Silverstone attacked too. I felt I had to come back because much/most of the source of the hatred was the same individual.
I just want to put it all behind us. So unless the trouble returns, from that source, we should be able to just let it go.
I have no desire to rake it all back up. I doubt any sincere apology(ies) will ever come. And that is fine. Just no more unjustified and undeserved attacks will suffice. Thanks again Mirandee!{{{HUGS}}}
PS.I do feel there is a "Stifle it Edith" mentality here at times though. ^*sigh*^
