MMMMM orlando. How about Troy? I saw it it was good but the character Brad Piit played was really gay so that kind of messed the real story up.

KINGDOM OF HEAVENI had seen it too...Nice flick. Must see for religious buffs. An important message I got from the movie was about the noble "Persian" kings. They weren't as closed minded as I thought they were. IP: Logged |

I love "Lost Horizon" by Frank Capra starring Ronald Colman. It's the classic story of "Shangri-La" and innocence found. In the words of the High Lama..."Be kind.""What Dreams May Come" is visually stunning. It's a throwback for me to "The Divine Comedy" by Dante. Makes me think of college (in a good way). I also love "Sirens". Hugh Grant and Tara Fitzgerald are irresistible. ------------------ Sincerely, divinia What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness? -- Jean-Jacques Rousseau IP: Logged |

I have to agree with one of scorpbaby's - Love Actually. My wife and I wept through the whole thing today. At least she's pregnant - I don't have an excuse Great movie though when you watch it again I think.Dean. IP: Logged |

I had seen 'Love Actually' What was missing was a gay couple in the story? Didn't feel reality because of that. Otherwise the movies is good. Quite contemporary. Again my opinion hehehe...

The best Joan Of Arc movie I still think is "The Messenger"...with Dustin Hoffman and surprisingly the girl from "The Fifth Element" is Jeane or Joan.... Nothing like in her other movies! I loved it and her performance! And Dustin Hoffman was sooooo very eerie cool!IP: Logged |

Harold & Maude remember that one? I caught the second half of it the other day. So spiritually uplifting. What a Unique Unconformist Character she was. Love the scene where his mother once again sets up a meeting for him with a 'nice young girl'... he enters the room, and very calm and cool takes a seat, propping his arm on an end table, then nonchalantly takes an axe out of the inside of his suit and hacks his arm off. Got his point across very well, I think. Welding the new sport's car his mother gave him into a hearse was rather effective too. Cat Stevens music for the soundtrack..mmmm...loved that: Well, if you want to sing out, sing out And if you want to be free, be free 'Cause there's a million things to be You know that there are
And if you want to live high, live high And if you want to live low, live low 'Cause there's a million ways to go You know that there are Chorus: You can do what you want The opportunity's on And if you can find a new way You can do it today You can make it all true And you can make it undo you see ah ah ah its easy ah ah ah You only need to know Well if you want to say yes, say yes And if you want to say no, say no 'Cause there's a million ways to go You know that there are And if you want to be me, be me And if you want to be you, be you 'Cause there's a million things to do You know that there are Chorus Well, if you want to sing out, sing out And if you want to be free, be free 'Cause there's a million things to be You know that there are You know that there are You know that there are You know that there are You know that there are IP: Logged |

I thought that Corpse Bride had a sweet msg to it.You're gonna laugh, but the movie Scrooged with bill murray hehe. There have been some incredible mini-series on the sci-fi channel that aren't quite movies but they deserve an honorable mention: Merlin, Legend of Earthsea (based on the book A Wizard of Earthsea), and Hercules. Finally, Legend. I am a huge fan of fantasy movies. My dream is to one day be doing make-up for these type of movies!! They really move my spirit! There were so many fabulous movies already listed! Thanks everyone!! ------------------ ~Libra Sun / 29* Gemini Rising / Aquarius Moon~ IP: Logged |

Schindler's list and the Devil's Arithmetic. Turtle's can Fly (New Indie film about Kurdish children in Iraq. Sad.) The Notebook I really like those new Home Makeover shows hmm.. Saving Private Ryan was a good one. I just recently saw War of the Worlds..Didn't like that one too much.I actually think that the shows that move me the most are those Country Music Videos. Try watching 'Whiskey Lullaby' (this is THE best) 'Arlington' 'American Soldier' 'Courtesy of the Red White and Blue' 'Independence Day' 'Georgia Rain' Even if you're not a country music fan, you'll like 'em.
