Moon666C, I agree wholeheartedly, Pay It Forward... My kids are about to own this one Also, I really enjoyed the movies ' My Girl ' and, ' The Horse Whisperer '. I could watch ' The Prophecy ' and all it's sequals, everyday and never tire of them.... Love that Mr. Walken. Robin Williams in 'Patch Adams' was a good watch too. ... and, in that same idea or, profession ... Eddy Murphy in ' Dr. Doolittle '..... ~ geminstone IP: Logged |

I just watched "what the bleep do we know" and then came here and saw a thread about 'spiritual movies' I figured that was a sort of spiritual sign. Neat how we encounter synchronicities that reassert the things that have drawn our focus. Al the things contained are concepts I have been working with for a long while now, and i feel comfortable with it in more ways than I did a while ago, even though I thought I was just fine then... We expand. Here we go.IP: Logged |

Family Video was selling off their VHS tapes for $1.50 each, so I picked up My Life As A House and Saved By the Light. Not my favorites, but spiritual and good. I loved What the Bleep and my only complaint is that there should be a beginners and an advanced version. Speaking of Family Video, they only have one copy of What The Bleep.

In the Matrix at the end, after being shot, Neo has come back to life. Now, he is fighting with such detachment, such lack of anger, so effortlessly, that was one of the ZENest things I had ever seen. It was as though his emotions didn't get in the way anymore, and he was so totally connected to the Supreme Force, and all superpowers came to him. Whenever I find myself getting too angry and too emotional, it always helps me to remember that scene. IP: Logged |

What an amazing list..over such a long time. I am new to the forum...thought I'd add some too. What Dreams May Come is one of the best. My husband and I both love it...the messages, as well as the colors. It's the brightest movie I have ever seen. And everytime, you learn something new. Beautiful movie.
Then, Contact....I have seen it many, many times and it too, is one that EVERYTIME, I discover something new. When Matthew M (the priest) is talking about us believeing we are seperate, shopping to fill the voids, etc...on the Larry King show...and as his thoughts, his truth resonated up into the ethers, it was his belief in a oneness that opened the gate or channel or what you call it, that brought the communication into Jodie Fosters life...I love that part and I am more conscience of what I "put out there" and aware of what I bring in. What a great movie then Dogma, Last Samarui(not the best speller), city of angels, wizard of oz...it's been witin you the whole time..oh..oh...A BUGS LIFE.. Seriously, if you havn't seen it, watch it. As a mom of a 6 and 4 year old, I have seen it...many times. it may not seem deep at first, but when the main grasshopper gives the speech as to why they have to scare the ants into collecting their food..even though they have enough,,"what's one year" they ask..then he drops one seed on his buddy, "does that hurt?" "no"..a few more seeds, "did that hurt?" "no" then opens the whole bin so millions of seeds cover him..."Once the ants realize they outnumber us grasshoppers, our way of life will no longer exist"... Any other ants out there ready to take there spiritual power back? I love it....Goddess bless you all and I look forward to many happy postings.. ------------------ Believe IP: Logged |

So many good movies mentioned already...The Song of Bernadette was in awe of this movie The Ten Commandments (Campy at times..but still good, even when Anne Baxter/Neferteri breathily says "Oh, Moses") The Green Mile Chocolat Michael John Travolta makes me laugh The Sixth Sense What the Bleep City of Angels Many more, but these I thought of first
