Hi IAT

and talking of solitude....

I am compiling a book of quotes for our son, he is 6 yrs old, and will give it to him when the time is right (when he can read would be a good time I figire LOL).....anyways one of them says:

Religion is what
one does
with ones
solitude !!!

whispers: i so agree with this - that is why I object to people shouting and preaching their views at me - worship/praying - a very private and intimate thing (esp for a Scorp).....

Hope you are well

Love

IAT,
I like the word~ Communion.

Didn't you ask further up what it meant to someone?

I think there are moments in life when you Know you are in it.

As in..."Communion with Nature"...
when everything is so quiet, except for pristine and chaste noises we normally need to strain to hear.

You're just THERE. Totally in The Moment.
Fully Alert and Aware.

So Receptive that no thing goes unNoticed.

Quite effortlessly You Connect and Commune with All.

Excellent post.
Such deep experience.
Is there a trend in Martial Arts movie these days, that uses what you describe.
I have seen a recent movie that exactly describes thus.

I sometimes wonder, if a human is sick or impaired will this person ever experience such a state? Is this person forbidden from communing. Why should he be denied the joy of communing? Is exercise necessary for the body to be able to commune with a breezy experience? Lets not forget such brothers and sisters.

What does anyone think about it?

Can they feel Communion even deeper?
I think back to when I was very ill..and not sure if I would die or not,
Never did I feel Deeper Communion.
Although, the pain was a distraction that pulled me away at times.

I find it a beautiful thing that you could think such thoughts, IAT...go OutSide of yourself in such a way and think of others.

The 'Communion with Nature' was an example. Just easier, I thought, to Visualize the 'Feeling'.

It's part a way of understanding the Rarity and Preciousness of Existance, which connects you to Commune ication with the Higher Realms. So, physical state has no bearing. Perhaps the chronically ill, blind, deaf...or anyone suffering physical limitations might have greater understanding and grasp of the Beauty and Divinity around them and within, that the physically well might become complacient to overlook.

Although...bitterness would be a difficult hinderance I imagine. The Unfairness of what Life had dealt. I'm always awed by those who suffer in silence and still Glow with Love & Gratitude. How do they get past it? How do they do it? It's amazing to me.

well, I never thought about asking God for anything, just "please give me me the strength, wisdom and insight to know the right thing to do, and I'll do the rest"

lately, i've changed it to "thank you for the blessings I'm about to recieve... thank you for putting me in the exactly right place, surrounded by the people I need to learn the lessons I need right now (even though I might be dumb enough not to realize it at this moment!!!!)

our higher angel knows whats best for us, even if we want something so badly at the time!!! haven't we all looked back and said "thank god I dodged that bullet" when maybe we were heartbroken, or the loss of a job and said "wow that boss/lover really was an a-hole!!!

prayers get answered in ways we might not even know till many years down the road, (hardly ever the way we thought!) terrible experiences unless we turn bitter give us great gifts of wisdom........

Delerious,
Hi. Thats a profound thought. Isn't it amazing, the truth we hold on to, evolves and yet becomes a greater truth.

Amazing..I had so many such leaps in my own thinking.

I did something I dont do often today.......I went into a church and prayed..........I usually do my praying anywhere but there.....garden, on top of mountains, in the bathroom LOL.

So I walks in and there is one woman bowing down and she is doing the usual thing that catholics have been taught to do.........I could hear her almost chanting parrot fashion under her breathe......that is her thing I suppose and who am i to judge her. I nodded to her and she smiled at me and then left shortly after.

Well I decided to get down on my knees - I would usually sit if in a church....but assuming this position felt good, humble....it reminded me of long ago........

I prayed for lots of things......my son, husband, my extended family, for money (we are short at moment),,,,,I prayed for strength to love and care in the best way I could. I prayed for the farmer John I posted about,,,,that he could find love........

And then I prayed for you guys, all of you......in the hope that my requests for all of you would reach out to you in some ways.

Oh yeah.....not that I needed to be reminded, but the place of praying is of NO consequence to me.....I actually found one of the best places to pray was the bathroom, at least you wouldnt get disturbed there ha ha ha !!!

L ve to all

Hi Sue,

Its so nice of you to pray for us? What is your requests about? Should I expect a wedding invite from your soul family to mine

Regarding your earlier comment, I once went to a Catholic church in the Netherland. Oh mine, it was so uncomfy and I really could not bear it. It had wooden stands on which you kneel. Is it the same in Ireland? In America they have cushioned kneelers.

I once heard that if you start believing in all these deities and worship them ritually, you would be compelled to complete your apprentice time with your deity, in heaven. Day and night. I am definitely not that kind hehehehe....
And why is it so, its because you wished for it in the first place
Its the same as asking for a perfect soul mate and then giving up when the trials gets very very tough. A few survive.

I actually started going regular to church, once a week, since a year and half ago. Did you know that to commune is also to hear Gods voice clearly in you in making everyday choices? So bathroom (if you are in the office ), parks, etc...is really not important as long as one is able to go to that inner sanctuary.

---ALL -----------

I didn't want to drop a bomb now and say that there is not only 4 dimensions of space and time. Science says there are 11 dimensions. Can any one guess who lives in this 11th dimension?

This eleven dimensions that I spoke of is so close you won't even imagine it.

Divide a millimeter (100th of a cm) into 20,000 pieces. Its that close. Got it hehehee.....lets go swimming as fishes hahahaha....

Dear HedgeWidge,

No, I am preparing to sleep in the next 3 hours. I am in the East coast of America.
Where are you BTW?

Yes lets swim as fishes do...Actually I have a better idea, lets also go surfing on the edges of the universe.

Yes we all are in the 11th dimension.
Yes it is all around us. Closer to each one than their jugular vein (I recalled that from the Quran). Here you may observe the cause of causes.

But who lives here. I am stil waiting for feedbacks. Consider that as a brainstorming question. If you ask a scientist they will tell they do not know the answer.

Shhhhh....the dragon is sleeping. Isn't that what Merlin used to say.. Hahaha...

quote:
11th dimension

The 11th dimension is a characteristic of space-time that has been proposed as a possible answer to questions that arise in superstring theory. The theory of superstrings involves the existence of nine dimensions of space and one dimension of time (a total of 10 dimensions). According to this notion, we observe only three spatial dimensions and one time dimension because the other six spatial dimensions are "curled up" or "compactified."

According to superstring theory, all of the elementary particles in the universe are composed of vibrating, one-dimensional mathematical objects known as strings. The theory does not explicitly state what the strings are made of or where they come from; rather, they are proposed as geometric ideals. Each string has a length of only 10-35 meters, many times smaller than the diameter of the nucleus of an atom. Any given subatomic particle (or hadron) is made of a string that vibrates and rotates at the speed of light. A particular hadron gets its unique identity from the manner in which the string rotates and vibrates according to the dynamics of Einstein's theory of general relativity. The frequency of vibration corresponds to the mass of the particle.

The nagging question remains, "Where do the strings come from?" Also, there are five different versions of superstring theory that explain the way subatomic particles behave. Are all five versions correct, or are some correct and others wrong? In an attempt to answer these questions, some physicists have suggested that there exists an 11th dimension, which is compactified like the other six spatial dimensions we do not directly observe. Superstring theory with the inclusion of the 11th dimension is sometimes called M theory or the theory of everything (TOE).

i'm surfin'......

but who lives here?

(i live in the u.s. -- southern central time zone)

nice work, I AM THAT.

Both excellent posts Hedgewidge and LTBL....Wish I could afford to give both of you first prizes. Yes its the M-theory that says there are 11 dimensions that explains everything observed in our universe and necessiates the existence of parallel universes.

LTBL the article you posted mentions that there are 12 dimensions. It would be interesting to see what science comes up with. They started with 10 and then added another the 11th. This allows them go moments before the big bang. Scientists are heavily researching this area. They can now read the mind of GOD as to speak.....

Therefore the question who lives here. Now I still did not get the answer from anyone as to who lives here.

OK let me describe how things appears from the 11th. Imagine a membrane twisting, and vibrating as string. I usually visualise the sword fishes upper body. Our universe is contained in one such membrane and scietist said our creation is nothing unique. These membranes occasionally collide at one end then on the other end...Where it collides with the other universe, tremendous energy is released and gives birth to the matter world when the energy is cooled.

We are nothing special or unique as we thought we are...

An exciting journey lies ahead. God cannot be in a Box. I believe theres more to it than meets the eye....

OK now someone still didn't answer who lives in the 11 th dimension ....

I know we sound like Pagans...But lets just imagine that which we cannot

OK heres a hint. What does the letter M in M-Theory mean to you?

*Mystery
*???

My thoughts

We are all living in the 11th dimension
our spiritual awareness
and search for Truth
has brought us there
we are all there--here
that's the paradox
that
was opened
from Pandora's Box
we are
becoming
out of the Box
so to speak

Please share your thoughts with us
I could be wrong

Hi Lotushearone,

Didn't the pandara box legend say that all the evils came here from that box. The only good thing that came out of it was hope

I am still giving it some days before I speak my thoughts. We may be dead wrong altogether so please do not think I know the answer.....

----------------------

All right everone...
Am continuing my rant....
What is this kingdom of heaven? What is this realm of Ghost and spirits that our ancestors said exists? Isn't it all parallel universe?

Our matter world is like the shores on earth. Our inside is the ocean and our body the outside is like the beach

Imagine Earth was already here. Apes were here. Suddenly you occupied an Ape. Stretched your hands left and right..Even tried to walk on two instead of four legs....Its not a long time between then and now.. May be 450000 years (some would even say 40000 years). Compare this to 15billion years ago when the Big bang occurred. Its still minuscule in the cosmic calendar scale. (How many times does one blink his/eye in a minute? Oops, I gave a valuable hint there.)

Why I am discussing all this here? Well so that it may help us understand the layers of the universe? And how is it related to the original post of "Communing with the universe?" Well I will be back with that sometime.

No problem iAmThat,

we won't all see things the same

I know I was not an Ape though, we are divine, we were made in the form of God.
If we evolved from apes, why aren't they gone, we have not seen any take on more human characteristics.
Just my thoughts

Hi Lotus,
I regret choosing the word Ape. I really meant ape like. Theres a 200 year debate and still goes on about this.

Ok forget all that politics. I wanted people to flex our brain and imagine an animation movie playing in their head. Out of this universe a man (Adam) projected in to this world.

Ok...just for completion of the questions you raise. Do you believe in Big foot or Yeti? These creatures are believed to be still wandering the earth and their bodies are never found when they die. May be its a legend. But who knows.

Lets cut all that out. Our world that is earth is so young in the cosmic calendar, that it does not make sense to speak of from the Original creationists. It will lead to more confusions and quarrels.

More on that as we progress...

Peace..
