If you leave a wonderful lasting impression upon a person from the start then yes . Or if you are disfigured, you don't let that disfigurement affect an upbeat personality.

Though the answer to the question you asked is with a question that you should ask yourself; "Are YOU capable of loving someone who gets horribly disfigured in an accident?" If you can then chances are there are other like you who can.

Thanks, ListensToTrees. That sure is a heavy question. I wouldn't think that disfigurements should necessarily deny anyone love(??). As Xodian has said, it's attitude that matters more. Anyway, if you turn the idea around, say you have a conventionally attractive person with a 'disfigured' attitude... ehhh, sure does have quite the effect on the 'lovability' meter, doesn't it? But hey, that is neither here nor there. There should be a safe, welcoming place in this world for everyone. Bring on the fo-tos!
