Oh fellows! I do very much have an affinity for vampires. It is very intriguing and the "mythos" (?) much deeper than the movies show.
However I do love the old series "Forever Knight".
Usually I prefer the book version, but I preferred the movie "The Hunger" much more than the book.
The St.Germain Vampire books are interesting also.------------------

Sattvic:Haha maybe I should call you Armand  . actually I have been into the more historical/presonal context on Vampires. The tragedy of their existance facinates me so much. I mean here is a being who is by every defination a perfect lover; He knows how you feel, he knows how you work and he is as passionate as they come... Yet, he can't feel love in its purest form. Its just a forigen concept to him now. Well there is always the story of the "soulful" vampire that still has the essence of his soul left in him but it usually torments him for life and thus he ends up becomming an outcast; unable to live with the living or the dead. Ah yes...as in the St.Germain vampire novels. Or anther about a vampire gladiator in ancient Rome, "Far Arena".
Yes I have seen Interview With A Vampire! Excellent! Another good one was the old one starring Frank Langela. The Gary Oldman version was lovely to watch but the emotion in Langela's version was much more deliciously tangible.------------------

Oh Lol! You'll be interested to know that there is a game charatcer in a Vampire theme game that was inspired by the novels. He is "appropriatly" named St. Germain and he is not exactly a vampire but a time traveller that ends up smack dab in the middle of a Feud between a Vamperic devil forge master named "Hector" and Dracula. He comes off as the vamperic type though; Extemely charming but really hides his true nature well. Love his outfit Lol!  NAM: LOL! But comeon... Lets see that beautiful face of yours . That particular snake is a ball python, he loves it when I cook him "steak diane" or just plain hamburges, no bread or condiments, but he will also have hotdogs or just a small ham sandwich.  It is cruel though...do you really want to know? And I really hope I don't offend anyone with what i am about to post but this is reality, it happens in the wild and we can not stop from happening.So if you have a strong stomach I will show you what he eats, and yes, it was alive.
