I disagree with a lot of the one's you said because they're generational in aspect.

It's really hard to come up with a list, but the personal planets are the most imortant, imo, since they are so, well...personal.

Sun/moon/venus/mars all in tight aspect.

Mercury should be aspected nicely so there is a common ground and understanding.

I believe that aspects to the Midheaven tend to be overlooked by many astrologers.

Cosmobiologists and Hamburg School/Uranian Astrologers put the most emphasis on the Midheaven. They view as the individual self, "The I", the minute. It's the most personal,time-sensitive point. They look at aspects to Midheaven when rectifying charts.
They view the Ascendant as the relationships,one's environment, the location

aspects between the Midheavens can be very significant. aspects between the Midheaven and Ascendant can be very significant too.
aspects between the Ascendants can be very significant. the conjunctions,oppositions

aspects between the Moon and Midheaven can be very significant too. aspects between the Sun and Midheaven too.

it really depends on the type of soul mate connection which can between relatives, friends, student/teacher.

But I believe that the most individual aspects indicate unique connections like for instance soulmates. That means we have to mainly look at ASC/DESC, MC/IC and Moon, as they are the fastest moving ones. Maybe Vertex also plays a role.

So far I've only seen ONE couple having that aspect, let alone double whammy

And, I have these aspects with my past lifeline soulmate:

DSC conj & parallel Valentine (3)
dr ASC conj & parallel Valentine (0)
dr Vertex conj & parallel Venus (0)
Anti-Vertex conj & parallel Sun(1)

I also think they're ultimate aspects

Also very good to have Venus tightly trine Valentine DW / Venus tightly trine Amor DW

I think soulmate aspect is better combined with parallel links otherwise it might still be just a coincidence

Disagree. Natally I have Venus square Chiron and Venus square Saturn. So that means that I have a Venus/Chiron & Venus/Saturn aspect with everyone my age.

Vertex is fated, yes, but as far as I have seen in synastry charts, it points more to a fated "moment" that can turn around your life (including meeting someone), but it does not mean there will be a lasting relationship.
Of course sometimes a fated encounter can lead to a lasting connection, too. But it is not a guarantee.
