Hey Di. So, you're saying that when you enter the local time on the day of my birth, it doesn't work out? If so, how about you enter the Universal time on the day I was born and see how that works. I'm sure there are converters online on how to change local to universal time? I'm not too sure What's happening there on your side. ------------------ Blog IP: Logged |

Unmoved, was the procedure very painful? I am fearing, that if the ironpills I am taking won`t work, my doc will want to have me do one, too. She didn`t say so far though. I have been to the doctor this morning for another bloodtest, to see if the hb has already been higher. But then again I have been walking around for years and years with a hb of 9, so I guess it will not show an effect too quickly. anyway, I hope you are recovering well. IP: Logged |

Since I wasn't completely under, I felt some pain but just enough for me to groan once when they were pushing the tube. I didn't feel anything after that. That was the colonoscopy. As for the endoscopy, they prayed some numbing local anesthetic and the did that last because I didn't feel it. it was over in an hour. So, there was no pain really, but just discomfort. The most tedious was the preparation of my stomach and drinking 5 litres of vile solution mixed with juice which cleans the system. It's after lunch, and I still haven't received results. I'm well though. Still drunk dizzy and my heart is beating fast as usual but I've not gone worse. Thanks again for the well wishes to you all. I'm so bored here so reading them is cool. I'm still on my phone though so I can't reply as substantially as I'd like. ------------------ Blog IP: Logged |

The doctor just came in and said that he didn't find anything as to where I'm bleeding and they are sending me home with prescriptions. He says it MIGHT be a spastic colon. MIGHT. So, I don't know anymore. This is what I feared, for them to find nothing and to have me feeling sick for longer, not knowing what it is. There was also talk of Lupus but I haven't heard that theory mentioned again. So, now they'll just treat me for severe anemia not knowing what the cause is. I'm actually irritated. edit: Wheels Aries is in Cape Town. I'm in Durban. So, we're not seeing each other until May. ------------------ Blog

Thanks Ami So, I'm now going to meet my personal physician, the one who thought I could have ulcers, to check me for other things. Another thing DD, you'll probably get injections of this thick brown thing daily. It help create more blood. I refused a blood transfusion because I'm paranoid about Aids. I know my fear is irrational, but South Africa has a high HIV rate, and what if they missed something. Anyway, so I'm taking these injections daily for anemia treatment. ------------------ Blog IP: Logged |

Ahh that is scary! Even if you lived in a country with no aids I think the thought of it is a bit weird. But they tested me for everything before I even gave blood the other day. Its planets in Virgo that make you worry like that, but in this case its going to save your life. It would be great if whatever it is you have would just disappear miraculously. If you believe that your ok then everything will be ok. You can repair your body with your mind. IP: Logged |

GOOD about the blood transfusion unless life or death. Do you have people you know who can donate blood? I wish I could! x o x Ami PS Do you have a 'nervous stomach". I do and I hate it. If you do, that is likely your problem and can be remedied. I am doing it--slowly. When I had my C section--the doctor said"I can't believe YOU are walking around with this low blood count" also. Now, I am much better---Thank Goodness---so perhaps I can relate and can help!

Unmoved,so far I am just taking these ironpills. I hope it will show. Well, my doctor was kinda surprised, too, that I did not have any real health complaints, cause she said I should be terribly tired and dizzy all the time with that. (Well, t hinking of it, maybe my bouts of dizzyness I have had during the last years, and which have gone for quite some time now - thank God, really was a symptom of low hb?) But since I was not, not more tired than other people around me, she thought that I had grown accustomed to that level over the years, which is true. I have had my blood tested in 2004 and 2008 and everytime the hb was the same, around 9. I stopped taking the pills back then, though, cause I did not stomach them well, which was a surprise to me, as I hadn`t had any problems with digestion until then. Anyway, I must admit that I DO feel better now. Much more awake and calm. Not that I was nervous, but there was an inner restlessness. But I also have pulled the break on my overeating and lost deliberately 20 kilos, and I stopped drinking coffee completely and banned all fast food products from my kitchen.
So it is difficult to say what did what. Anyway I hope you are feeling better; and I think it`s great that your results didn`t show anything "serious" in a clinical way. I mean this is better news than what it could have been, isn`t it?

Unmoved. Cannot promise she'll come through...but I have a friend who is sort of a health intuitive. Don't know what she can do remotely but worth a try. If you post your email address I will try to arrange for her to do some sort of session with you shortly. Keep hanging in there. IP: Logged |

Glad you seem to be ok! I would refuse a transfusion there too -- unless it's life or death.
Do you eat enough foods with iron? Spinach, meat -- for some reason I can't think of any others right now. I have no idea how to change the UT time.
Belgz, I know, thanks, but I wanted to run all her charts and I need the angles to be right or it's a waste of time.

LOL @ what AG posted.. I love your sense of humour Unmoved. Do you have something in Cappy? That must've been annoying. I understand.. I went through a health scare about a year ago which was extremely annoying. I was saying on another thread I'm trying to stay away from doctors these days. I only really saw a GP to get certificates for time off work before all this happened, so I had a positive impression.. But last year I was very disappointed. I am glad they are sending you home though. I'm sure things will get better with the injections. And like DD said - it couldn't be anything serious, since nothing was found. IP: Logged |

Hello everyone. It's morning here and I just woke up. The first thing I did was speak to my personal physician over the phone. I told her what the test results said. She had no idea, meaning that there is no real communication between her and the specialist. Sad. Anyway, after I told her what the specialist said re: scopes, she said, in not so many words, "What kinda weed is this specialist smoking? Spastic Colons don't make a person bleed inside. And then she said she will call the specialist and she and I will speak in the afternoon today. Hey there sweetheart, Glaucus - I have pretty much most of those symptoms. I am vegetarian, but I take precautions by taking iron tablets everyday. I also take Omega 3 and 6 supplements and Dolomite which is a mixture of calcium, magnesium and vitamin D. Basically, I take precautions to support my diet. But, I must say that I am experiencing most of the symptoms you listed. I love your lists, by the way. Although, my Virgo-ness has seen them, I love them still. Another thing... In the test results, before I went to the specialist, they didn't just find fresh blood in my specimens, they found what is called Occult blood, which means that it is blood that is old, digested and therefore, not caused by a slight tear or something. (sorry for being graphic)... When I read the results and saw "occult" blood, I was like "Even my blood is esoteric. How awesome is that?" Silly me. Anyway, that was just a side note. AG, darling - Twitter is much easier for me to update than LL, so yeah, you get my thoughts on everything there. I did take a pic of something which I'll post next, but it was NOT, I repeat, NOT of the probing. Vapor, my lovely - I have nothing in Cap, apart from my South Node, BML, and my IC. Does that count? Unmoved, eat what your body craves right now. I don't want to sound all weird or whatever. But I seriously think you need to listen to it and if you are thinking of what's right or good or whatever, throw that out the window and just listen to the cravings you have. They are saying something. No need to go eat a big hunk o meat lol But hell, just listen to what the body is saying. And btw? The next time you talk to you doctor OR your specialist? YELL at them. I don't care if you look like a total b!tch, but do it. You need answers. They're going to sit there and do the helpless thing, but don't let them do it. Bare your fangs. (((HUGS))) btw, iron tablets are not very good for your stomach! Try and get iron the natural way. IP: Logged |

MVM - speaking of which... Yesterday meat was smelling good to me. Hmmm... I'm sure I've mentioned before here on LL that I am primarily vegetarian not for ethical reasons but because I don't like the taste or smell of meat. So, when it smelled good yesterday, I was surprised. Also, since getting unwell, I've been eating like there is no tomorrow. I eat every 3 hrs. I am always hungry and I don't hold back. I am not gaining weight though. I'm still at 130 pounds for 1.7m tall, which isn't big or small, so I am not worried. What's surprising me is how if I allow myself to get hungry, I start feeling unwell (shaking, even more dizzy, and agitated). I am even eating chocolate, and I can't stand chocolate. Things need to be sweeter so I've been adding sugar to more things than usual. I even craved the KFC twister for a few days a while back and I was like, "wtf?" Anyway... Here's a pic of my hospital tags: ------------------ Blog IP: Logged |

I'm glad you're listening to your body! I think all that stuff you're craving, as unusual as it is, is your body's way of taking charge and fighting back! A lot of times I get asked if I am pregnant since i have really weird food, specific cravings ... I think it's because my body tends to yell at me and I am forced to comply. Don't get me wrong, I have an almost exact Venus - Jupiter square in my chart, so Indulgence is my middle name ...BUT I also think there's a difference between craving certain foods because your body is used to them vs. craving certain foods because your body NEEDS them. Unusual cravings which are not the norm are so awesome because it's like your body is fighting to defend you, and I just think that's a beautiful thing Maybe this is what Saturn in the 12th is teaching...letting go and trusting and relaxing your own boundaries for the moment. I know Saturn is associated with rigid stuff often but I think it should also be taken in context to what is happening, and how. If Saturn rules boundaries, then Saturn would also be the authority on knowing when to relax them. I'm sure you will be fine IP: Logged | |
