But even stuff like that is no guarantee and things ultimately ended. Honestly, yeah - I think we were one another's soulmate, but that for whatever reason it wasn't meant to be a permanent thing at least in this life anyway or we just f**ked it up, and things are so far gone that at this point there's too much bad blood and hard feelings between us to ever reconcile; I don't even want to interact with him in any way shape or form, can't stand him and would prefer to be with someone else and I know that feeling is mutual. Which is incredibly sad, but maybe we're both not really ready for it and in the next life we'll get another shot at it.

Two distinct things that I can share are the fact that we did not meet each other until both us were balanced in our Divine Feminine and Masculine Energy and both learned to approached this reality from higher level Energies...neither of us have lower level dealings with people. We are just able to manage our lives in such a way now.

But since we have been together things have moved onto a fast track and both of us have learned things about love that we know we could never have learned from anyone else.
We have cried together...we have faced our biggest fears together...and through him I have learned to see my darker Energies, marry my consciousness to my subconscious as it were and this alone was life changing..and through me he has learned of his inner Light and continues to be more aware of it everyday without me doing or saying a thing...our thoughts are more powerful than we think.

I admire him as a human, a lover and an Energy. And though I know all of his faults, because he is so transparent...to me he is and always will be perfect.

But like anything in this reality, all we can do is live in the moment. We both agree that people, especially soulmates come into our lives for different reasons. It is not our job to hold on to the person...but to learn the reason they came into your life in the first place and set them free...so that we are able to continue on our path of Ascension.
The amazing thing is if they chose to stay....and he has chosen to stay.

And honestly if he said that he only wanted to be friends tomorrow...I would still be happy...you know why?...not just because my happiness is my own, but because I met him, I found him ...and he will always be my closest friend in this life and on the highest level of our existence we are one.
So who cares how we are connected in this reality, as long as we are connected....and that is what I have come to know as unconditional love...and it truly has set me free.
I love my life.

Yeah, they say there's people that you're meant to only know for a short time and they teach you something or vice versa, or you both teach one another something, and then you move on - I think that's the 'soulmate' concept?

Then there's the concept of the 'twin soul'. I've read that those relationships are usually either REALLY good or go REALLY badly , depending on whether the people involved are ready for it or not. I do think he's my twin soul but that we're both clueless and just aren't ready for this yet. I wish I were as enlightened as you about it and could say I'm grateful it happened - and I know I should be because most people never experience it - but most of the time I just regret it and wish it never happened, to be perfectly frank. When you experience that and then lose it, it kind of f**ks you up.

It stands that the Law of Attaction teaches you that you must consciously choose your thoughts to manifest what you desire into your life.

But if you read this:

"Actually no, I didn't go into it expecting that outcome so this isn't a case of 'your thoughts created your reality'

You can clearly see a contradiction right?
If you did not go into the relationship thinking negative thoughts consciously then why did it happen that way, many people dont realize that we are what we create.

The thing is we have in addition to our conscious thoughts, our subconscious thoughts, and if we are not aware of them then our creations, or manifestations will reflect that.

This Universe is ruled by certain Laws and in order to evolve and grow in it we must learn and put them into effect.

It is possible for everything in your life to be balanced, harmonious and happy, no matter what is going on around you externally, if all these things are your own, balance, harmony and happiness, how can anyone rob you of them?

Honestly, again - no, I didn't go into it expecting it to fail. So it can't be my fault that it did.

And it's not like that's an unusual case. How many people go into relationships or marriages expecting it to last forever only to end up in divorce court at some point down the line.
