This is a great point, and I empathize with you. Attention is addictive. And ESPECIALLY attention from someone who has Sun/Venus in the 8th (or is Pluto/Scorpio influenced). It's a very intense attention, even if it doesn't feel that way to YOU per se. It's because you have the ability to block out the chatter of the room, make eye contact, and LISTEN. You engage with them, and try to understand where they're coming from. You don't interrupt or ignore what they have to say. You could be thinking a million things in your brain, but you never let that on. People become infatuated because they feel like they've made a true connection to someone, only because you give them some of your time. IP: Logged |
