I have Venus conj a luminary (Moon), plus an angular and heavily aspected Pluto and I was a-ok with going deep, but not him. Maybe cos I have Pluto Ic and my strength is who I am at the core vs. Pluto at the Asc which is more for show as I've seen, it's more about portraying Pluto as an image. He called me strong all the time, powerful, etc. and maybe he was seeing that, the Ic vs. the Asc.

I understand your Pluto conjunct IC, but is it in H3 or H4?
Mine is in H4 and I could tell you a few things about this configuration...

I also thought, after reading a few descriptions on sites, that perhaps Sun conj Venus in Gemini would make the person sort of a flirt or superficial in relations when it comes to a close relation like say lover. I mean not the platonic ones. A kind who cannot stick to one in depth at 'a building a relationship or partnership level'? Could this interpretation be correct?

Yes, there may be commitment issues in the love relationship department with this conjunction in Gemini. Flirt is a key word for Venus in Gemini, even more with sun conjunct venus in Gemini. However, one and only aspect is not enough to state a native will not be able to stick to a relationship, and this person may be mature enough to live this conjunction in Gemini at deeper levels (Saturn integration).

There is a book any people with a strong Pluto should have. I do not know if you have already read it, but it left on me a strong impression. I never read such a deep and powerful description of Pluto in H4 before. I am still pondering what I read. The author is Jeff Green and the book: “Pluto: The Evolutionary Journey of the Soul, volume 1”. The all book is about Pluto in natal houses and aspects, transits, solar return, progressions.
It explains the strengths AND weaknesses of Pluto in IV. Be careful, it may takes a while for you to face it. Lol. I loved it because I want to know the truth about myself (the Pluto drive inside of me). If you happen to read it, tell me what you think.

@sam- of course not always without problems. Maybe because my chart ruler is venus, it makes it a little bit easier...lol. plus I think I have mellowed out as I got older. We have some saturn & pluto ties that balance each other out.

---I acquired this one maybe 7 yrs ago, read it, and have had it tucked away with the others. So I may be due for a re-run here. I'll look at it again this wk.

“You can’t help falling for them, and by the time you’ve gleaned their true colors, you’re hooked —and possibly hurt. Welcome to the contradictory universe of narcissism. »

I love this quote because it is exactly what I felt with Sun-Venus men I met in real life.

I only know one Venus-Sun man and that is my brother. He is a little snake charmer, that boy. He has all the girls falling for him...I think he needs that for his ego. The Sun probably looks to Venus to fulfill their needs..I don't know. Just a theory. Have to meet another person with this aspect yet, to have a more objective look on this.

I do not know why, but now I spot Sun-Venus men 100 miles away, lol.

If you want to see a Sun-Venus (-Mercury) conjunction man (with a Neptunian undertone, as the conjunction falls in Pisces, and Mercury which gives him this facial mobility and expressivity), look at this fanvid showing Jensen Ackles:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OX0xvikGL40&feature=email&email=comment_reply_received

He worked with Jared Padalecki as a Winchester brother in the Supernatural Series which led to the “Wincest” concept (lol). TMO, too much candy kills candy, but he is such a good example of Sun conjunct Venus men (in Pisces) with all the ambiguity involved with this aspect.

Btw, I have just read another thread talking about “Mr Big Stuff”, Chris Noth in Sex and the City. The linked given was this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDYUal7Y8II

As I was watching it, I told myself: “bingo! One more”, lol. And indeed, he has a Sun-Venus conjunction in Scorpio (with some stern and serious Saturn coloration as Saturn conjuncts sun and Venus).

I agree with you, it is easier for the sun to fulfill its desires when Venus is sitting so close to it There is no distance between the two archetypes. Venus projects outwards Sun desires very easily and conversely, Love enhances Sun-ego.

My darling Mert is one ,too.
I saw his picture. He is gorgeous. His is in Sag so it is a different flavor.

They are the typical male model types.Would you all agree

But think how Hitler "charmed" the masses into believing his ideologies. As sick as he was, people truly followed him & gave him the power to be the demon he was.

My SO said one day to a group he admins on FB- "if I showed you everything in this world was bs, would you still follow me?" He ended up deleting it because it to him sounded narcissistic but the thought was still there. Almost like something Hitler would say

For me,personally,Venus conj Sun men are too pretty.
I don't mean this as an insult to anyone,of course.
I think of classic "beautiful" men as in male models.
They do not appeal to me, personally.
Libra in a man does not appeal to me,in any placement, I don't think.
i can feel it as one would taste curry in a soup
I LOVE it in male friends. My best friend is a male Libra Sun.
However,I do not feel attracted to Libra energy.
Can anyone relate?

can't be sure but it looks far.

i don't think war enthusiasts are strange. some might just be nostalgic for something they never experienced. or grew up with vets so tall tales of bravery got them into it. i come from lazy people so wars are such a hassle to my grandparents.

male models today are very different. most of the james bonds were male model material during their time. i know george lazenby was at least. he did 1 bond fyi on her majesty's secret service for those that dunno him. those guys would be cast in dad roles now or be the dad in stock photographs when they sell picture frames.
