My Mother has Aqua sun in exact combust with Mercury.I think it is in the 1st house.
Does Aqua Sun have a lot of envy if it is not evolved?
Does it have the "shadow" of the evolved Aqua i.e. humanitarian.What positions do you think cause envy? Would it be 1st house positions cuz that could make the person more self centered. Envy was the theme of my mother's life.
Was just thinking of that ,today, and was interested in what you all though.

The most envious person I ever met in my entire life was someone with a Scorpio n.Sun. Don't really know her exact birthday, because ever few years she was suddenly younger than what she had said before. IF her date of birth is accurate--and it's a big "IF"--then she has an Aquarius moon.She was out of control. Any time anyone in the department was issued a new computer, phone, desk, or chair, she would pitch a fit if she didn't get one also. I mean, full-on pouting sessions, behaving like a six-year old who didn't get to eat dessert before dinner. It was pathetic. Always had to have the latest and greatest, then would parade around, showing off her new toy to everyone. Couldn't believe at that time she was almost 40 years old. Or so she said. Oh well. They seem mot envious at all

I'm not sure what could be the reason for envy. I've met quite a few very jealous people in my life...all with very different charts. Maybe it has something to do with harsh apects between generational and personal planets?
It might also be interesting in which house her Mars is in. In which area of life is she most competetive?IP: Logged |

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? IP: Logged |

Envy is tied to wanting something of someone else's that you don't have. Its could a quality or an object. I think looking to house 2 or any harsh venus or pluto aspects would give you a better answer. IP: Logged |

No,Nick,she does not have any Scorpio My sense of Scorpio is different though.
Scorpio is more about power than envy.
I know these things can be very subtle. My "theory" is that the flip side of the evolved Aqua is the super jealous one. The flip side of the powerful Scorpio is the one who will slash your tires. You see what I mean ------------------

I was just about to say that envy is ALWAYS a Pluto/Scorpio thing. I am not sure why, exactly..somebody with psychology studies will have to explain that to me. So your mother must either have some hard Pluto aspects in her chart, or planets in Scorpio, or planets in the 8th. My father is the extremely envious type, also. Or maybe jealous is the better word, because envy means you want to BE somebody else, whereas jealous means you want something that somebody else HAS.
So, back to my father he is a Scorpio Moon-Venus conjunction, also possibly conjunct AC-not sure,though. Two very jealous types I know are a Pisces with Pluto opposite Venus, and a Gemini with Aquarius Moon in 8th house, square Pluto in Scorpio.
I myself have been guilty of extreme jealousy at times, as well, and am a friggin Pisces!! But I have Pluto trine Venus and trine Sun. If you wanna be thorough, I have Sun in Scorpio Decan, Scorpio Dwad. IP: Logged |

thats what i was saying pinky, lol....an unevolved scorpio is incredibly vicious...especially the scorpion, who enjoys stinging for the simple pleasure of stinging...the grey lizard is also highly prone to jealousy but will not act on the intense feelings and will probably get ill from holding in all the emotions------------------

Hmmm, I don't really know any Aqua people who are jealous.
I've experienced people being sickly jealous of me who where Libra, Pisces, Virgo, Capricorn Sun, and this one girl who was so fake, her b-day was in November...either Scorpio or Sagittarius. But she would act nice to my face and talk behind my back and wanted to turn people against me(oh wait, all those people wanted to do that lol)...doesn't seem like a Scorp or Sag trait.But I think if an Aqua was aware that she/he was jealous they would try to control it, and keep it in check. And not want to show that they are jealous. Do you know if your mom would show jealously to other people...like other family members, friends, co-workers, acquaintances?
Was she only jealous behind closed doors? I have Aqua mars, I feel like I can be happy for people who have good things going on, as long as I like them. lol But it's only human to have those moments where you feel like your life can be better, and other people flaunting their good life style can make me think 'how dare you!' haha. But it would be lame and try to bring them down a peg,I can't stand when people try do that to me but I'm not going to be like 'omg, that's great! I am so happy for you!  " If I'm not. I'm also Scorpio Moon. When I was younger I would get so jealous I would literally be consumed with it. Strange thing is though, I have learnt now to purge it almost to the point of extinction, and now get a kick out of "not being jealous no matter what". ie. A complete reversal, but my motives are still not exactly saintly. What I mean is that I get perverse pleasure from people not being able to make me jealous because I know this can drive them nuts. Agh! Yes, sounds like the woman I used to work with. She had this attitude that if you weren't with her every single step of the way, then you were against her, and she could do what she wanted to you. Really childish, petty and sometimes straight-up mean. In the end, Karma got her. She had been all chummy-chummy with one of the lead administrators, until that administrator finally had it with covering Scorpio's a$$. She was gone within a year after losing her protector.
