Maybe if you got those Mars/Pluto aspects, in order for the relationship to last, you gotta have Saturn thrown in there.

Throw in some Jupiter to calm the storm a bit and some Moon aspects to stay emotionally on the same plane.

I had this with an ex, my friends said it was crazy love lol We managed to stay friends after it was over but in the begining it was love/hate. The push and pull seemed to play out, I'd be in and he was out and vice versa. The games and competitiveness was insane!!! I always wandered about if he ever really loved me or just toying with my emotions. Then one year he took me to a cookout, introduced me to alot of people and basically said I was the one. We later got into a fight about an ex and that was the last real moment I think. We saw each other about a year and a half after that, On and off. He ended up getting married and I think most people would have hated him but I choose to love him in a different way, I choose to love him for him and not myself.

I met another man right before he got married, we were supose to see each other the day after I met my new so but I choose to see my so instead. I for the first time started to understand real love, to love someone in the truest form is to love in such a way that the other person is free. For the first time I let go of being hurt and understood that love ment to see another happy. I greaved don't get me wrong, it hurt for some time and for awhile I thought being friends after a break up was superficial. Actually, in someway it healed alot of wounds to understand love this way. I got beyond myself to acually understand what I gained from it, I always felt like I was never commitment type. That I was never going to find real love and just relationships that always hurt. Always wandered if I was loveable or what was wrong with me. I see it in so many women who give up on love and men. What I come to understand is that you attract relationships to learn. He once told me that love comes in time along with trust and respect. Also that I'm not perfect. Lol. I always felt like love should just be like someone to naturally see me flaws and all and eventually it does but the process of love was what I didn't understand. Logically I knew these things but emotionally I did not. I went threw alot in my childhood and so I was closed off from love. Repeating the same wound over and over , same situation just different. It's never been the relationship with the other as so much but the relationship with myself. Don't get me wrong, somethings are just not healthy in a relationship but arguments , misunderstandings, disagreements are. I started to understand the male ego, I'm still working on that one. Lol Suddenly I started to relize how successful I am with relationships, that I can maintain a friendship when it's over and have so with several exes but had always just felt it was superficial. Now it is not, its real love of loving a person. It's not mushy I love you but it's just I knew you , got to experience you type of love, careing outside my own wants and needs. I feel more free than I have ever felt in life when it comes to love and people in general. I'm sure I'll still greave loss when things end with someone but the wisdom that I have learned it makes life more full and happy.

With my current so Ive already learned to think positive because he told me your negative thinking, it was kinda hard to do after being hurt . Fear is powerful, it becomes your greatest enemy. You become a self fulfilling proficiency because you project yourself on to another. He has also taught me sone other things but that I can't disclose. Lol

When we start looking at relationships as a process to learn and grow towards love, the better we get at it and the closer we will get to finding the one for us. We become happier because we learn how to be happy in a relationship threw our trials and errors. Until then YOU are the only person holding yourself back because your not learning life, people or love.

^^ YEs!

Also, Eminem's 'Love the way you lie'..

"Maybe that's what happens when a tornado meets a volcano.."
..
"If she ever tries to f***g leave again I'm gonna tie her to the bed and set this house on fire."

Which aspect was yours, Faith? And who'd you have it with?

P.S. Got back to you on the other thread too..thanks, love.

LOL, I never heard that Eminem song.

I have Mars/Pluto DW with my ex-soulmate. Conjunction and trine.

Well towards the end it was more like....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDUjeR01wnU

^ DW, saying that to each other

But feeling it was futile, like nothing we could say would change anything.

How about you?

^ Love those songs by Muse..

In fact, Muse was one of the things my Mars-Pluto ex and I bonded over.
Have you heard their song Resistance? That used to be *our* song.

Faith,
Wow, you had a double whammy?! Yeah, that song does resonate. But then we also had sun-pluto, so..
I would have thought a DW would make it more 'balanced' to handle? Or at least that the trine might smooth things over a little..? Was it worse because it was a DW?

::edit::

Yeah, I was Pluto and in the end it was me that cut ties. However, I'd like to stress that it was also me that got hurt more, in the end. Cutting ties doesn't mean I loved him any less. Just that we simply couldn't be friends anymore. Mars-Pluto is among the least platonic contacts you can have in synastry. Well, now I know why.

Anybody whose Mars conjuncts my Pluto also squares my moon. So it activates my Moon-Pluto square live-wire. Maybe that makes me extra touchy and/or ready to explode?

@Elysia

So yes, it looks like Pluto is the one who cuts ties. I can relate to what you said; I felt like I had my back to the wall with no other choice. I'm really amazed at how often so many of us found ourselves in the same situation: not wanting to end it, but needing to.

Are you content with everything being over with your guy, or do you think, maybe another round in the future?

I do think Mars/Pluto can remain platonic at least for those of us who have it natally. Seems like that to me.

I think the DW made it extra hard to break apart.

Ahhh...well said. I see what you mean.

12H moon is sensitive and because it's Aqua, might react in "bursts"...

I think that Scorpio energy in general can be messy. It also makes sense since the Scorpio-influenced person in question (referring to personal experience, I have MiS and 8th house Moon) can be in sync with that same energy itself in which they actually may be looking for something heated, and it's not just the vibe they're giving off. I would also say Pluto-Moon contacts since they can be prone to indulging in these kinds of situations to which they may secretly crave it due to a prominence of stagnancy in their lives. I know that I often indulge in the drama that takes place on threads here when people start arguing with each other, which doesn't help the situation at all

Sorry about that; my Mars in Scorpio probably just adds onto it.

I think that the best solution though would be adaption. Trying to control it obviously would run into disaster and people can just abandon it all together since they don't know how to deal with it. Patience and understanding can be quite useful assets

Also people who contact my Pluto-Moon opposition in synastry tend to frustrate me more than anything. I live with someone at the moment who's Mercury and Venus is in a T-Square with my Moon-Pluto opposition, making things quite frustrating. With Mars there, I've literally despised them lol
------------------
Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune
Scorpio Mars conj. Asc in First
8th House Moon opposite Pluto, Trine Uranus
Have you caught onto the predicament I'm in yet?
