I thought my (*both died*) parents (true love, yes) would break the rule here, but I guess not.

Sun 28'56 Libra
Venus 3'19 Libra
Merc. 1'03 Scorp

So a Love-stellium (Sun/Merc. semi-sextile Venus)

And..

- Uranus 28'29 Taurus (quincunx Sun/Merc.)
- Saturn 24'35 Taurus (at least not too wide to make a quincunx to the Sun)
- Pluto 4'50 Leo (square Sun/Merc.)

But well, Composite Mars isn't afflicted with outer planets, and so it survived.
I get it.

YES GOOD JOB

It seems that in a love stellium since the core is Sun and Venus (thats why a sun-venus conjunction also counts as true love even without mercury) when either of the two planets are afflicted by more than one outer planet as a whole, there's slim chance for the relationship to hold that much pressure for so long. It seems it can only hold one outer planet affliction (again, pluto doesnt count) while also having seething underlying tension undermine everything (comp. mars afflicted by outer planets).

But it also seems that since love stelliums are stronger than just sun conjunct venus by itself, it can hold more outer planet afflictions (but i wouldnt bet on more than just two diff planets).

For example, Got Gemini's composite with his wife... Sun conjunct venus -sun opposite uranus and venus quincunx neptune. Mars also opposite saturn. They're very unhappy together.

My friend's parents: Love stellium -sun and venus square uranus, sun opposite neptune, mars afflicted by pluto. They're doing good.

Chapter 1: On the Ascendant

Ascendant in Taurus

When you are together you will find that your accomplishments take on the speed of glue. This is an asset because you will never forget the fine details and finishing strokes that make projects masterpieces. Every action you employ is well thought out, organized, filed, cross referenced and above all methodical. The only stick in the ointment for you is any unexpected turn of events that totally disrupts your nervous system and drives you both to another pack of cigarettes or activates your sweet tooth. You can work for hours on projects that people have lost interest in, because that's just the fun kind of couple you are!

Once you have a project finished, I defy anyone to try to make changes in your presentation or your ideas. This is where your stubborn and strong willed nature is stimulated and the symbol of the Bull emerges. Like the homing pigeon who flies home the same way every time, you do everything in your lives the same way, day after day even if you hate the routine while complaining at the same time.

As long as you are left alone at whatever you do, your mannerisms return to a domesticated state, waiting for the next poor soul to challenge your position. You never have to worry about being rushed or pushed around, nor would you allow it, unless there is a monetary incentive, roses, candlelight dinner, jewelry, real estate or love involved. Then the two of you become putty in any ones hands.

You are considered to be a rock, headstrong, opinionated, solid, reliable and dependable. You are sensible and practical in all matters and your appearance is cool, calm and collected, and unemotional most of the time, which masks a great strength which is an asset to you in times of struggle.

Security on the job, finances which balance in your favor and a home which is your piece of the rock hold utmost importance to you both. Should someone suggest a move or change to you, you are likely to put up a struggle that the world will not soon forget. You can be found sitting at the front door of your home, job or marriage (no matter how bad it is) long after everything has been changed, finalized or long forgotten.

Both of you have an enthusiastic approach to all things beautiful, whether love or art forms, and can be quite at home among nature. Your attractiveness has an earthy quality which makes people feel at home with you immediately. This is the spell you weave to get others into your web. Once inside you do not give them up easily, if at all. Look to the house where Venus is located to see where Money can be obtained, or where you share the good life.

Ascendent in Taurus (0-10 degrees) , Taurus decanat

Together you won't be pushed into doing anything but can be enticed by gentle means. You will have an attachment to creative and artistic endeavors and your pleasure loving nature is strong but will need controlling. The ruler is Venus, the planet of beauty and you will go out of your way to acquire through art, treasures, and whatever money will buy you. You have the vitality to achieve and accomplish anything that you choose. Stubbornness and the inability to share should be recognized and dealt with the best you can, usually through the efforts of service to others, which is a test of Venus here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chapter 2
On the Midheaven: How you are seen as a couple

Midheaven in Aquarius

Since this is the most "visible" part of the composite chart, it represents how you are actually seen in the world by others. It represents your more outward or public face and where you are likely to encounter success, and your reputation in the world as a couple. Your mutual goals together will exhibit a positive kind of temperament although somewhat uncertain about matters with sudden urges. You will be intuitive with above average intelligence and can organizing almost anything. Intelligence in a cool, calm and collected way that allows no room for feelings. Spiritual matters are much more important than material ones for you both. Very rebellious spirit looking for adventure pretty much describe your lives together.

You are always looking forward to the future and how life will progress. Change, progress and innovative methods in human development keep you strongly attuned to causes or social betterment. You are idealists when it comes to any kind of social unfairness, human rights or uniformity.

There are times in your life when you will forego your own needs in favor of the needs of others. Your beliefs are unchangeable once an opinion is formed and you keep up to date in the latest developments. You will enjoy active participation in groups or community affairs together as well.

You are friendly but keep an impersonal distance from others. Your acquaintances number many, but you can count your real friends usually on one hand. As friends you are detached and impartial. Because of your rational responses to your environment, you keep your emotions close to you and reveal them only to those who warrant it. Your independence keeps you from being overpowered or dominated by others. Marriage, relationships and tending to children are far from being customary and probably lean to what would shock most people.

The tenth house is the home of worldly aspirations and attainment. This sector shows how you present yourself to the public, and deeds for which you leave behind as your legacy, or what you will be remembered for. The tenth has domain over the profession, public offices held, and your reputation. The combined energy of Aquarius here, indicates that whatever you choose to do will be inventive, unique and original together. Working for humanitarian rights and being a team player are of the utmost importance to you. Aquarius here indicates working in politics or before the public in some way. Look to the house where Uranus is located to see what kind of career you might choose, or how you will be remembered.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chapter 3: Planets and Aspects

Sun in 6th house

The Sun is very unhappy being in the 6th house of obligations, duty and work because it requires fun to express itself. One of you may be very unhappy in this relationship, as one of you is the giver and the other will be the taker. You may also feel unappreciated, used or taken advantage of, which will spawn resentment as an outcome. If you have to ask yourself what you are getting in return from this relationship, then it may already be over. If you are in this relationship to help or be of service to the other, then that is okay, but if you have needs that also need to be met, and they aren't, then give yourself a pat on the back every now and again, as the other may not do it for you. On a positive note, if you have come together to work on a project, then this will be okay, as long as the rewards you seek are your own and you don't depend on support or recognition from others.

Sun conjunct Mars orb 2° 44'

At the very least you excite each other and arouse very strong energies within your partner and you will have to learn how to handle passion, anger and conflict in positive and creative ways. You will find that when you are together that you can be extremely competitive, anxious, boisterous, and energetic.

If you are looking for a relationship that is quiet and calm, then you have the WRONG relationship here. But if you harness all of this energy to create something, then you can make wonders happen together. The desire to win, to compete, to excel, to make war instead of peace, to encourage each other to succeed and to be courageous exist in this truly dynamic aspect. Remember, however, that because these energies are so aggressive and irritating, they must be channeled constructively or very negative results will occur. If you allow the negatives to operate, then the question is, "Which one of you will be the bigger bully to the other?".

This combination demands activity and accomplishment and that should be the underlying element in your relationship. Because this aspect also generates a great deal of heat, the sexual, lustful and communicative levels will all be quite intense as well.

There is a great deal of self-confidence generated here, so try not to force issues beyond a workable level. Games of competition, physical exertion and sports are an excellent way to use this tremendous energy. As with other intense energies, you must be careful how you use this energy so you do not hurt other people around you. Because this aspect is so impulsive, you should be careful that the aggressive nature of this energy does not turn into anger and that you do not resort to physical abuse or injury to settle your differences.

Sun trine Jupiter orb 4° 27'

Jupiter brings substantial advantage, growth, progress, success and increase into your lives. Good fortune, achievement and blessings will arrive in ways that cannot be measured, simply by your being together. It can never be said that you want for anything with this aspect and, instead of limitations being placed upon you, opportunities never imagined can come your way. Higher thoughts of expression and philosophical and religious pursuits may become part of your daily life. Expanding your education or beliefs can be possible through this relationship.

You make each other happy just by being together and the world becomes a much more satisfying place for you because of your togetherness. Travel, especially the long distance kind, or connections to people of different cultures may also play an important part in your lives.

Success in all endeavors is indicated by this aspect. You may notice considerable financial improvement and the happiness you share will rub off on others as you seek to improve their lives as well. Sharing the good life may take its toll in the weight department, though, because Jupiter loves to expand whatever he touches, the old waist line included. You may also enjoy some surprising results with lotteries and speculations, as long as you don't over do it.

As a couple you will enjoy popularity and any legal matters that happen to arise will probably be settled much more in your favor with benefic Jupiter here.

The biggest danger with this aspect is that you may get carried away with all the bounty and benefits bestowed and overindulge yourselves beyond your means. False pride and showing off can also happen with this aspect, so keep an eye out for that.

Frank Sinatra - ava Gardner:
torrid love affair, failed gloriously after a short time

They have an unafflicted love stellium, but they also have Moon in 6th quinkunx Neptune, and Sun is also sesisquare Neptune

I have been going through my databank with long lasting couples, and not one had a personal planet in 6th house in difficult aspect to Neptune. Though there were some with planets in 6th house OR Neptune in difficult aspect to personal planets, esp. Sun or Moon.

No, not per se.
For example YTA posted the composite with his wife here, too, and they have personal planets in 6th house and according to him they have been going strong for many years already.

I also saw that these shortlived, partially tragical relationships, had a personal planet in 6th house which was square or quinkunx (maybe also opposite) Neptune at the same time!
Only one of these ingredients does not seem to be a problem.

But even if there is a personal planet in 6th house squaring Neptune, I am not sure it ALWAYS spells doom (whatever that means anyway).

I wouldnīt pick one from the composite alone, but at least compare the composite to the natals to see what each relationship would trigger in you.

For example, you can have a wonderful Sun-Venus-conjunction in composite, and the love and affection will be there, but if it doesn`t connect to your natal or his natal, preferably with a tight conjnction, it might not mean that much to you personally.
Or put differently, you might express a lot of affection and love for each other (it is Sun-Venus in composite after all), but you might not be really emotionally bonded or attached to it.
However if that Sun-Venus-conjunction in composite falls onto your Moon or Sun/Moon-mp for example, you might experience a strong feeling of belonging and home, and have a great need for this relationship. Maybe even feel it is a soulmate relationship (Sun/Moon-mp could relate to the Soulmate, as it is the balance point of Yin and Yang in your chart).

interestingly all composites have ASC-ruler in 10th house aspecting Mars. Hmm. Not surew hat that means, but patterns are rarely coincidental.

Ruler of ASC in 10th house could mean that a relationship wants to become public or official.

Case A

6th house emphasis means that there is a need to make everyday life functioning. Shared duties might be important.
On the positive side this could mean that you will have a household together and keep it going, but the 6th house also often has something hierarchic to it, like someone is submissive to the other. There could be too much importance on making things work in practical terms, so the emotional connection could suffer a bit. Though with a Leo Moon in 5th there is sufficient fun-factor as well.
However, 6th house has to do with supporting each other as well. Just make sure that it is not always one person who is doing all the giving.

The house reminds me of the 6 of pentacles in tarot. A healthy give and take is required (but unfortunately not always reached).

However, it is the ruler of 7th conjunct the ruler of the 8th house. Definitely a very bonded relationship. But yes, honestly I would have preferred it to land in 1st or 5th, 7th or 8th house.

the problem here also is that this Venus-Mercury-conjunction is squaring Saturn in 9th house. You might encounter serious blockages in this relationships, maybe they have to do with different philosophies about life, maybe it has to do with one of you being abroad.
Nothing ever spells doom, and SAturn can mean you are working hard for the relationship. However, honestly no, I donīt like Saturn squaring so tightly Venus PLUS the ruler of 7th and 8th house.
You will have to have a long breath and dedication to make this work.
Especially if thre will be transits around the 25 degrees of the fixed signs.

Moon-Pluto-square is very intense and passionate, but can also be a sign of emotional manipulation. However, the emotional depth is IMMENSE.

Moon in Leo in 5th house is really very warmhearted, affectionate, generous and brings a bit of "sunnyness" in a connection that seems to be rather heavy, intense and responsible overall.

Can you make it work?
Sure you can!

But keep an eye on the healthy balance of give and take, and be clear about what you really want from this relationship, and don`t let house 9 matters block your road.

I canīt help but feel fond of that Sun-Venus-Mercury in 7th house, which means that the rulers of 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th house are conjunct in the 7th house.
There should be a lot of love present, though the planets being in Virgo, maybe not as demonstrative as in a firesign would be. But there would be sensuality and groundedness.
However, this is squaring Uranus.
Could be an up and down-thing. Uranus can make things pretty unreliable and uncommitted, though you have Saturn sextile. Maybe this would help with the balance.
on a positive note Uranus also makes things exciting. Depends how both of you like Uranus natally.
For me with my Aqua-Moon it would be heavenly.

rulers of ASC and DSC are squared in 10th and 7th house. There might be tension between career/ job/ public image and the relationship, also relationship to shared friends.

Moon is in Leo in 6th house, while this doesn`t spell disaster, personally I am just not too fond of 6th house placements especially for Moon and Venus. It is strange, I prefer Moon and Venus in 12th house, while I am wary of Mars or Saturn in 12th house. Not sure why this is so.

But Moon has an exact trine to Aries-Mars in 2nd house. This should give some emotional fiery energy. Could be quite creative, and hopefully not too prone to arguing, but instead rather stimulating (Mars rules 3rd house).

However Saturn squares Moon from the 9th house, And it also means the ruler of 12th house is squaring the ruler of 6th house. And that Saturn squares the ruler of 6th house.
I am not sure how "doable" that is in everyday life. Some subconscious blocks might thwart the good feelings of a Leo Moon, though being in the 6th house, I do not know how good that Moon feels at all. As I said it depends on the natals.
Well, could also mean that there is some karmic debt to repay (ruler of 12th house).

case C

Well, no connection is ever perfect, but I like the symmetry here and some other things.

First of let me tell you that I disagree with RAS in one thing, and that is that i don`t believe ONLY Sun-Mercury-Venus points to true love and without it you can`t have true love.
I put more emphasis on houserulers and the conjunctions to the natal chart. It is a matter of preference I guess.

However I DO agree that Sun-Mercury-Venus-conjunction is among the most loving things you can have (I add Moon-Venus to that,b ut this is more "fluctuating" in its emotionalism).

The backbone of this composite pattern is the exact opposition of the very sensual and warm Taurus Moon in 2nd house and Pluto in Scorpio in 8th house. it also is the frame of the WHOLE composite.
It must be a pure reflction of 2nd-8th symbolism. The intensity is so strong I guess. A nearly obsessive emotional bond, though you might not even understand WHY you are feeling like you do. Who feels it more, depends on whose natal is affected by this opposition the most.

Pluto also rules 8th house (intercepted) and Moon rules 5th house - this even adds to the emotional intensity and ther is a definite sexual aspect to this. Whoa, Moon-Pluto, 8th house connected to 5th house and 2nd house? Is it getting hot in here?
Well, hot in a very deep, brooding, way.

Reminds me of a quote from a TV-series: "#You want a love that consumes you."

I only say be careful what you are wishing for.

In a negative sense this could of course lead to a manipulative, emotionally codependent relationship. But however it may be, it is one that won`t leave you unchanged.

Saturn is very widely opposite Moon, the ruler of 5th house. Well, it is VERY wide, still there might be something that keeps you from surrendering or consummating this relationship. Maybe the circle of friends or social conventions do not agree with that connection?
NOt sure if that is even of importance, with this wide Saturn aspect.

The rulers of the angles are all grouped around the MC. Definitely an important connection.
However, I am missing some planets in more relationship-oriented houses.
Not sure this would lead into a personal relationship, without placements in 1st, 4th, 5th and 7th house.

Are you working together?
there is this MC-emphasis, ruler of 7th house conjuncts ruler of 6th house. ruler of 1st conjuncts ruler of 10th right on the MC.

Well, if you are a couple, then this relationship will probably have a feeling of importance and "purposedness" and direction to it.

With ruler of MC conjunct Neptune, you might not always be certain about what the direction of this relationship really is though.

Venus conjunct Jupiter is realy beautiful, bringing idealistic, warm feeling and rich sympathy for each other.

thanks yta....
i wonder if another interpretation of the 6th house could be a couple that is interested in helping others, charity...things of that nature. that is, being of service to others, power couple.

hmmm....
case a and c have mars in water,
however, case b has venus and moon in water, which means that i would be more the ideal for him than for the other two, since for men, it is venus and moon that counts when it comes to the 'ideal woman'
but then, case b has mars in gemini...O_O. yikes!

i think that case b would understand that 'scorpio loyalty' more, i think that case a and c would find me stifling in the long-run, i dont know.

RAS would probably say that while it is nice and beautiful and affectionate, it is not true love, though I should let her speak for herself.

Personally I have made a different observation. Next to Sun/Venus/(Mercury) this is the most loving aspect you can have (though neither is very sexual or passionate per se; you would need some Mars and Pluto for that).

However, Moon/Venus has a dreamy romantic quality, but one that is built on a much more realistic ground than Neptune/Moon or Neptune/Venus. That is what I have read in the book on composites by Robert Hand which I strongly recommend. A VERY good read, and an indepth understanding of how the energies work together (or donīt).

The difference to Sun/Venus/Mercury is that Moon/Venus/Mercury is more internalized. It is entirely possible that you totally completely love each other in the most tender and affectionate and caring way, but this love might never be really known or shown.
With Sun/Venus it is more likely that the love feelings will be demonstrated and expressed, as Sun is a Yang energy, and you need one of these to express a feeling in a demonstrative way.
Also, Moon is more emotional, and yes, also more moody, so the sensitivity of this might be so high, that there could be moodswings and it might not feel as "stable" and secure as Sun/Venus, depending on the other aspects to that conjunction.

You also should check in whic house the conjunction falls, which houses the planets rule, which other planets aspect the conjunction, and how it connects to your natals.

Hmm, let me ask you a question.

Think of each of these guys and re-live an important meeting.
Where do you feel it inside your body? What is happening inside of you?
(in your BODY, forget about the mind)

???? ok, ill give this a try, forgetting about the mind is hard. i want to choose wisely.

case a - the touch, warmth, homely, i know you, chest and genitals
case b - passion, genitals mostly.
case c - charm, spirituality, chest and head.

why? see anything in particular?

i want to add, i apologize if i hijacked the thread somehow....i guess that as much as going with intuition is cute, i find that at this moment, i want to go with what is more worth it, even if it too much analysis-oriented.
for example, my aqua mars prolly has to do with the attraction i have for these air sun men, in spite of the fact that at times, they dont meet me spiritually and emotionally.

now, the more i think about them, i cant help but feel more of a pull with case a or c, i think it has to do also with the fact they are both more my type, physically speaking. tall and lanky, even the same height. lol.
funny thing that case a and c have similar charts too.
both have:

air sun, cardinal moon, air mercury and venus, water mars, cardinal rising. one thing about case a is that he is more saturnian, which might be a good balance to my saturn in the 7th. dont know.

thanks a lot for the insight ceridwen. i appreciate it.

Has this been examined within the context of friendships as well? I believe I have this with one of my male friends.

Hikoro,

There is no "wise choice", when it comes to matters of the heart.

"case a - the touch, warmth, homely, i know you, chest and genitals"
Can you describe how it feels?
Warmth is good, but be more descriptive (if you do not want to share it, you can do it privately at home, writing it down).

"case b - passion, genitals mostly. "
How does the passion feel inside of you? A rush? Adrenaline? Like you are being pulled under or the rug being pulled beyond your feet?

"case c - charm, spirituality, chest and head."
That is very abstract. So I think we can safely conclude, case c might not be the one (even though from your mind you may think he is. Charm, spriituality, - these are words from the mind. Categories, which means your mind has already had its say.

No, the heart and soul often does not seem wise to our mind. But it is true.

let me give you an example.
There is someone who seems like a great choice for me. I admire many things about him, a lot of things we have in common, shared ideals. A great person.
However, if I see him or think about him, nothing shifts inside, everything stays the same. I feel a warm stream, yes, but that`s about it.
I am pretty sure he`d never be the one, even though he may seems like the perfect choice.

This other guy however, Iīve been fighting it for a long long time, and probably will go down fighting.
I almost hate my body for betraying me. I know or rather think that we would not "fit", as we are so different in our expressions.
However, everytime I see him, my heart literally stops and then tries to jump out of my chest. I have NEVER felt it so clearly before.
My entrails seem to start tumbling through each other, all excited and not knowing where their place is inside of me. A rush of adrenaline all through my being, like I am being electrocuted. Everything suddenly shifts inside of me, like a shockwave.
And when he looks at me, it`s like suddenly a glaring sun is ripping open my chest, spreading into every cell of my being, and to be honest, it hurts a little. It is just too blinding, dazzling, too hot.
It`s like you step out of a cave and blink into the sun after centuries of being in the dark. Like your heart has been a little frozen and numb (though you did not know) and suddenly the numbness melts away, and at first it stings a little of course, until you have gotten used to that warmth.

I always know when he steps into a room, and for some weird reason so does he seemingly. It is the faint echo of his energy that I can feel like a tingle all over my spine. though I sometimes have that tingling awareness of other people as well, his energy is unique somehow.

My mind? Forget about it. It doesn`t have the answers.
I do not know why my instinctual reaction to that guy is like this. It is just what it is.
Talking myself out of it, doesnīt change it a little bit.

However, no, he is not ideal. He is not perfect. He is probably not suitable at all. He overwhelms me and leaves me shaken EVERYTIME I see him. Well, I am sure my soul needs to be shaken a little, being pushed out of my comfort zone, and he does that just fine.

But yeah, I could name at least 2 other men, who I would deem more "suitable" in terms of likeness of character, thinking and expression.
But my insides for some reason seem to feel otherwise.

I donīt say you should make your choice based on primal instincts. But it is worth noting them at least.
Also you need to be clear about what YOU want.

EDIT
What does "being worth it" entail for you?
