I have Aphrodite conjunct sun too and I am not a great beauty. But that must be my Virgo asc cause we're all an ugly bunch.IP: Logged |

Sorry, I did not mean to attack you but I really do find it strange that astrologers insist on beauty being seen in the chart.
I have a first house venus conj asc and sun conj aphrodite in 2 degrees. And I am pretty sure I would know if I looked anything like Monica Belucci or Sophia Loren. (Belucci has her Sun conj Aphrodite in over 3 degrees - that wouldn't even be exact anymore, would it?). I'm not ugly...most people aren't but I have seen alot of beauties who did not pass the astro beauty test. I'm pretty sure the genes play a big role here. IP: Logged |

Venus is in its fall in Virgo.  And yes hun, Beauty is seen in the chart. Ask iQ. You see, the genes are shaped into what the Asc is... Shaped into it's energy and your persona radiates it. Oh I know that Venus is in it's fall in Virgo what I did not know was that it makes me ugly. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
One minute you claim one thing the next you claim another. So you say that in my case there is no saving grace with the Venus/first house/conj asc thing because it is in Virgo? Okay, so so low. Never read that in any astrology book. I don't think I'm gonna come back to this forum. If this is what astrology does I have to rethink about learning more about it. Thanks for making my day worse. Maybe instead of getting so upset you should think about why you chose to be born into this lifetime with Venus in Virgo conjunct ASCendant. Just something to think about. Lessons to learn I'm sure.I don't say one thing and then another. I am simply well rounded in astrology and I said before, the whole chart matters. But that Venus on your ASC is paramount. There are alot of virgo asc that are good looking. Bc it gives delicate bone structure and this feminine air to your persona. I think not every venus in 1st needs to be stunning. It just means every venus in the first has charm. Or some likeable quality about them, which is true. IP: Logged |

Hmmm… I have been to this web site before…. Libra Rising.com… and what I didn’t like about it was some of the presumptuous opinions expressed on it by whoever runs that site… talk about biased! I feel that whoever runs this site has an agenda of there own, and they are trying push their own unfounded astrological biases on others as if they are fact. This person plays ‘favorites’ with certain signs and placements, and apparently if someone does not have one of these they are inferior?… I wouldn’t take anything read on this site too seriously…And I say this, even though I have many of the so called ‘favorable’ placement in my natal….. Like a Masculine Asc (Sag), a feminine Moon (Cancer), and a Masculine Venus (Sag) and Mars (Leo)… as well as Venus in the 1st…
