This was a huge relief to read, my boyfriend and I have a natal Mars/Venus conjunction by sign but not close by degree... I always wondered if the sign interaction could still be considered a conjunction and this clarified it for me

My sister has her both mars and ASC in watery signs and she's a bit over-weighted ... All the water mars people I know don't do sports. Its the fire ones that do.
That doesn't mean that the water mars is an over eater, either.Guess it all depends, huh? ------------

I'm a water mars who's athletic, fit, and loves sports. It's more than sign--you have to look at house placements and aspects. For example, my Mars is in the first and is generally well aspected (although it does have a couple of difficult squares). It conjuncts Jupiter which I think expands my Martian qualities--makes me super-competitive, active, and generally assertive (albeit in a non-confrontational way, given my Mars is in Pisces).I find this article too general to be of any real help. I don't really consider myself a super-sexy person. Venus and Pluto conjunct in Scorpio. People hit on me a lot, but it's because they're predators and nasty, not because I'm sexy or hot. People only approach me to try to get me to go home with them, not to get to know me; people don't fall in love with me. Therefore, not sexy. If I were truly alluring and enchanting--which, to me, is how I would define "sexy"--people would have more of an interest in me than the carnal and banal. IP: Logged |

I put more stock into sun sign for physical beauty, personally speaking, with Libra, the water signs, and Sagittarius being the most facially beautiful for women, and Virgo and Sagittarius being the most handsome for men. This is my personal and subjective observation only, as a person who is Venusian with a Leo rising and four seventh-house placements and thus very shallow and aesthetically inclined  IP: Logged |

Dang I must be GORGEOUS: ASC in Air, Venus in Water, Mars in fire, Pluto in ScorpioTbh, I don't really trust Libra Rising as a reputable site. Not to mention, all of the Libra Rising individuals I know aren't exactly STUNNING. They're just pleasant looking but I'm never like "dayum break me off a piece of that" I'd say my sex appeal has more to do with aspects such as my angular Venus square Uranus/Saturn. IP: Logged |

Mars in Pisces, Aries Rising.Lazy? LOL - no, I wish I could be more lazy actually. I don't watch TV or movies b/c I can't sit still for very long! I feel like it's such a waste. My days are always full of activities - I hate having nothing to do. I've played every sport since I was about 5. I'm tall and thin, small boned. I think the Gem moon in me sorta makes me stircrazy tho. ------------------

I agree about venus square uranus/saturn... This one are hot. The most sexual appeal man I know had an t-square between venus,mars,uranus .....also his sun conj neptun in sag... he got something in his personality who trigg us women. ... The square and opp made a different magnetic flow... My exhusband is also one of those men with strong strong sex appeal. Ithink it was his venus quinkunx uranus.....and all he had in pisces. The easy aspect also works but not so magnetic like the harder ... My father have an mars square venus, sun square uranus and sometimes I think...what?...and how? him...but he is over 80 and lot of the old ladys are still around him...I think he have something..

I call ******** on that. I don't trust Libra Rising anymore since I discovered that they deliberately put people with earth/water ASC that they find attractive in a air/fire category. Also attractive people without birth time MUST have a fire or air rising.

Well it depends. Water or Earth ASC can have Venus in the first switching things up. Otherwise I have to agree, water ASCendants aren't usually very striking. They don't have that presence. IP: Logged |

so if they don't have Venus in the first they must be ugly? Is that what you're saying? There are sunningly beautiful earth and water asc people who don't have Venus anywhere near their first house.
