It took me until about a year and a few months ago to really consider myself beautiful and desirable for the first time. Since then, I've had body image relapses, but not nearly as bad as it used to be before. I do eat right and try to exercise, but I also accept that I'll never be super-skinny. I can be (and am, knock on wood) healthy, but will never fit the current cultural (American) ideal of beauty, as I described it earlier. To me, health almost always looks good, or at least decent. I believe that if I treat my body well and take care of myself, I have a better chance of it taking care of me later in life, if I live that long: not a 100% guarantee of course, but a better chance, which is one reason why I stay out of the sun and as far away as I can from tanning beds, even though being tan is in vogue right now. Plus, honestly, I don't feel that it looks good. People who are naturally that skin tone look beautiful, but people who aren't but try to be just look...unreal. I don't think that it looks "healthy" on people who are not naturally tan. I think "melanoma and wrinkles" every time that I see someone laying out tanning in the sun or go past a tanning salon. If I could look like anyone, it would be Catherine Deneuve, around the time that she made "Indochine", in 1992, when she was 48-49. I really love the way that she looks and I feel that she's still beautiful today, at 68 (will be 69 in October). I honestly find her more beautiful than a lot of 20-somethings that I know. She gives me hope that I can be beautiful when I'm older, as do many older people whom I know personally. I still feel a LOT of anxiety about aging, but people who still look good and who are still healthy give me at least some consolation and hope. IP: Logged |

One thing is certain. When you see someone who is famous for their beauty, best believe they were ugly in their past life. Thats why it's ridiculous for people to get hurt about it or to become concieted on the other side of the spectrum. It's funny to me people think one life is it and that's what you are but in reality our souls are constantly going through the cycles of rebirth and we are always learning different lessons. So take heart, it means nothing. We all experience the same things during our rebirths. It just depends how a person chooses to use what they have been given in each life cycle. And yes, true beauty lies within. Nothing is more powerful than a beautiful soul. AS the soul never dies. IP: Logged |

Monica Bellucci is a fine woman, that's all I am saying. And she has Leo all over her. The attitude, she is openly sexual,at ease. But,let's not forget her MC Neptune. Anyway,I got nice results with librarising, but I don't find it a good theory. IP: Logged |

What's repulsive to one person will be beautiful to another, and vice versa. While some things are fairly standard across the board, there are so many different types of beauty and different ideals in the "real world" (outside of the media. Two people can look nothing at all alike and both be equally beautiful or handsome.
So true, well said! I think this may come with age and maturity. I spent my early 20s watching every calorie, working out 5x a week and stressing about my "size" and always felt like I looked awful. I hit 28 and life got crazy so I had no choice but to stop stressing over every morsel that I ate and every gym session. Things just balanced on their own, one thing I also stopped doing was: reading and watching celebrity gossip magazines. Those rags can make you feel so inadequate! At 29, I eat what I want in moderation, fitness isn't an obligation and I'm so much happier in my own skin. I would have been a total maneater had I had this confidence when I was 21! LOL

She wasn't mean, but I couldn't help but wonder why she made such a strong attempt to be friendly and outgoing. She was American, but went beyond the ideal of bubbly, outgoing, "friendly". She was super-extrovert, personified. A bit unsettling. I'm very careful towards strangers. My trust is not easily earned: even if I give the impression of trust, I seldom, if ever, trust another person entirely, not even family. I am suspicious of people and generally my view of people is cynical. I still can't wrap my head around people who are easily trusting and who never question anyone's motives. While I do try to see the good in people whom I've had the chance to know (though I still never trust them completely), with strangers, I have the "guilty until proven innocent" mentality. *also, what Scorp influence do you have, if you don't mind my asking (if you don't want to answer, it's OK)
I know what you mean; I noticed that some are genuine warm people who like to share their love and warmth, others do it to mask their insecurity/nervosity and some come across fake to me ... Like you I also take my time to get to know someone, I don’t easily let my guard down. After some bad experiences, I got the confirmation I should always trust my gut feel. Just because someone comes across as good or friendly doesn’t automatically mean they are to be trusted and it's not because someone doesn't come across that way it's otherwise. Sure you can know my placements. It's Moon in Scorpio, Pluto in Scorpio. Pluto conjunct Moon in first house. IP: Logged |

That site is biased because it regularly changes the ASCs of celebrities to fit their agenda... the very definition of bias. You only like that site because you're a Libra Rising yourself. And, like I've stated before, I can name a beauty and an uggo of every ASC sign. IP: Logged |

Okay so they are making up everyone's Ascendant sign? lol.. Astrotheme does the same thing. And whatever It's common logic to feel the planets are the strongest in certain signs not being biased at all. I could say you only don't like it because you aren't a Libra Ascendant. And the whole chart matters! Okay name an ugly Libra ascendant.

Oh yeah, regarding to sun tanning, indeed best to avoid any kind of radiation, it’s not healthy at all, glad you’re with me on that. Catherine looks great at any age, she’s a great example that age shouldn’t hold anyone back from feeling good in your skin and that aging gracefully is possible. Don’t be too hard on yourself. To me beauty comes from within, love yourself, know that you are deserving of love and don’t let negativity take a hold on you. Have you ever heard of water experiments of Dr. Masaru Emoto? Our feelings and intent have effect on water molecules, our body is made of 60% water. I truly believe one must love him or herself to remain healthy. He doesn't look like a Libra Asc. And you work at astrotheme I suppose since you know that 'fact'. People just accept it. We all know Venus rules beauty. Bill must have an abundance of ill dignified planets.

If you think that Mars rising is reason for his unattractiveness, you should ask all those ladies who find him irresistible.Mars helped his sexapades, made him alluring, and still haven't made his features sharp or well shaped. Cuz Venus rules round and often gives phlegmatic face, which is not attractive.

Sometimes things are so simple yet so misunderstood. YES and his 'allure' is simply Mars conjunct Venus on the ASC. And no I don't find him attractive. And you are the one who said he was ugly and used him as an example. IP: Logged |
