My first job, I worked 15 times 6 plus 6 times 1. Such was life as an entry level investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. I was in mergers and acquisitions. The paycheck was spectacular though.

Then you discover your wife was on LindaLand forums consulting AstroGuru about Synastry with that hot guy down the street that cooks for her, washes her hair and does her manicures.

Real useful man you'll be by then, huh?

This thread is old as f*ck. But I don't care!

YTA - I surely do love you! You're absolutely one of my favorite people on this website! I have TONS of respect for you and your posts - past and present.

I don't want a man to do my nails or hair, no. But I appreciate that you have an interest in helping your lady.

I need a Capricorn man in my life pronto!

We are nearly CLONES! I'm also Aries Sun, Cancer Moon. Have Cap Mars but in the 3rd. Venus in the 8th. What's your Venus doing?

I struggled finding "balance" between my Sun & Moon growing up. But for the last several years now...I've become superbly SOLID. I've accepted both sides of myself, since they are BOTH equally amazing! They're like lovers that know their "roles" and have no need to fight about it.

I strongly identify with being an Arian - I love the fiery, courageous edge it gives to my spirit.

I also adore having Cancer Moon and all the intuition, thoughtfulness and emotional strength that it gifts to me.

I honestly feel that having Libra ASC has helped me find the "balance" between the two. It's a nice experience.

The strength and manifestations of a water moon can vary considerably depending on the house placement and aspects. It'd be interesting to do a study and collect data on the idea you're presenting.

I've noticed that Saturn in a water sign inhibits emotional expression.

I'm a Cancer Moon in the 12H in major aspect to Uranus and Neptune, which changes the meaning of this placement considerably. I relate much more strongly to the house placement than the sign. I wasn't close to my mother. Biological family has been largely an alien concept to me, whereas spiritual family is not. Cancer women and I is like oil and water. Uranus is conjunct the Moon.

I have Saturn in Scorpio, 12H which squares my Moon in Pisces, 3H. I don't show too much emotions to my mother. With her, I act tough even when I'm not feeling all strong inside. I express my emotions to other people close to me. In fact, I need to talk and discuss my emotions. I really need to get things off my chest when I am emotional.

YellowGerbera, interesting, and thank you for pointing out a differentiation (if that's the right word) in how your Saturn manifests with different people and how a planet aspecting Saturn gives details.

The house placement of the Moon points to where we go for comfort. You offered a good example of that.

I would say this is more of a Moon in 3rd house issue in general than the Saturn aspect (though I'm sure it helps). I have my Scorpio Moon in 3rd house and I feel the exact same way. I wouldn't say I have a bad relationship with my mother but I definitely keep her at a distance. I am very guarded emotionally around her and will not let her see me crack if I can help it. I'm not really sure why that is...I can just never let myself be completely vulnerable around her.

When emotionally distressed I also feel a need to get it off my chest otherwise it eats me up inside. Nothing makes me feel more at peace than when I feel heard.

But, I will ask: Do you think the traditional interpretation of "a man projecting his Moon" works for men with their Moon in a Water sign? Because I think men with Water Moons tend to be more connected to their feminine side and their Moon energy than the average man, even though it might make us feel 'different' or ostracized.

I think a lot depends on the family and cultural influences. In Western culture, well, probably not in Italy, I think it's more likely that a man with a water Moon may be uncomfortable with it and tend to repress his emotions because of cultural influences and conditioning for fear of not being accepted or judged.
